Location: just about Anything is fine with me, Evoflyer is a remarcably adaptible zoid, and should be able to work well in any situation. Just so long as I'm not stuck in an underground parking garage or something.

And as to the stratagy we should use, we should aim first for the back where the wings meet the spine area, as well as the belly, where it has virtually no weapons. Above all, we should avoid a frontal confrontation useing anything less than a Madthunder or Death Saurer as the Gil Vader comes with four each gravity cannons and plasma particle cannons standerd. It's primary weakness is the fact that most if not all it's ranged weapons fire forward, leaving the rear and flanks unprotected.
