Ai Otome had gotten a challenge for the spring brawl tournament. She moved her shield liger on to an elevator type device and was raised into the arena. Ai stood still and waited for her opponent to arrive. She wondered what zoid her opponent would be piloting. Ai was ready to fight and she wasn't going to go down easy.
The shield liger looked formidable as it stood still where it was. The other elevator made noise and Ai looked closely. A large smoke clouded vision of the opposing zoid. Judging by the silhouette it looked like a wolf or tiger type zoid. Ai waited patiently for the smoke to claer so she could see her opponent.

Receiving a summons to the tournament of the spring, Moto got into his Liger Zero and headed towards the arena. As he entered, he saw his opponent clearly as the smoke went away and the battle was about to begin. Opening up the cockpit of his zoid, he rested his legs on the control panel of it as he waited for the smoke to disappear. Once the smoke disappeared, he closed his cockpit and got a clear picture of the opposing person, it was a girl. "My opponent?" he asked her with a intrigueging tone to her.
After he started to begin the battle with a conversation before it commenced, he wondered what she was like and how she battled.

"Yes I am" Ai said. She got a clear look at her opponent, a good looking guy in a liger zero. She waited for the start signal to begin fighting. This was a different fight which Ai was not yet used to. She was not allowed to use any weapons at all for this fight except natural weapons, meaning the shield liger's claws and fangs. Ai got ready for a long hard fight.

Getting a response from the girl, Moto knew that she was at a disadvantage since this battle only allowed natural weapons for each of them. As the battle commenced, he also knew that his disadvantage leveled the playing field, seeing as his zoid didn't listen to him 100% of the time. "Being a nice guy, I'll let a pretty girl like you make the first move, alright?" he said with a smirk to her as he checked her out for a second before waiting for her to make a move.

"Pretty huh? I like the sound of that handsome, although I think beautiful is more appropriate" Ai said half-joking half-flirtatiously. Ai knew it was dumb to attack a liger zero head on in this kind of combat. She did move towards the liger zero and prepared to counter attack. "I'll pass on that offer and let you attack first" Ai said sweetly. She could tell already that this was going to be a good fight.

As he waited for her to make a move, Moto heard her reply with an unusual answer, at least that's what he thought. "Pretty huh? I like the sound of that handsome, although I think beautiful is more appropriate" she told him as he waited. "Handsome eh? Haven't been called that before," he said with a smile on his face, almost grinning. Hearing that she would pass on the offer, he tried to urge her, knowing that he would be at a disadvantage. "Make the first move beautiful, I insist. By the way, may I ask what my beautiful opponent's name is?" he said wanting her to make a move yet asking her also in a flirtatious way.
Knowing that he wouldn't be good at doing much dodging or attacking, he waited to see what she would do. Wanting to see how she was as a zoid pilot, he stood waiting, watching, ready to dodge and perhaps make a counter attack against her.

"I'm surprised you haven't heard that before, and thank you" Ai said. She was referring to the beautiful comment when she said thank you. Ai heard the man's question and smiled slyly. "Shouldn't you give your name before asking for some else's name" Ai said smugly. If she didn't attack then this would end up in a stalemate. Ai had her shield liger run to the right of the liger zero as fast as it could and prepared to lunge. Once she was at the liger zero's right side she quickly turned and lunged at the zoid hoping to connect.

As he waited for her to make the first move, Moto heard her response to the question and saw her heavily armored zoid move to the side of the Liger Zero and lunge at him. Making evasive manuevers when she first moved, he made sure that Liger would move in time to dodge, or at least dodge the majority of the blow. "Motozai, or Moto for short. Now how about you beautiful?" he asked as he started to pull back wanting him to move as fast as he could, but instead he moved at his own pace, and moved forward instead and a small bit of her attack hit his the back of his zoid, not the tail though. Getting ready for a counter attack, he moved in her direction and lunged at the projected spot she would land at, hoping to make contact.

"Nice to meet you Moto, My name is Ai Otome" Ai said watching the liger zero's movement's carefully. It was an agile zoid to say the least. The liger managed to avoid the lunge and attacked the spot she would land. Ai knew she couldn't completely avoid the attack from the liger but she could lessen the damage. As Ai's front paws landed on the ground she spun around so she was facing the liger zero face to face. This would hopefully lessen the damage taken.

Getting her name from her, Moto knew that it was going to be a fun match. Hearing her name he was able to maybe calculate plans by the sound of her voice and her name hopefully. Seeing how she was hesitant at first to attack, he knew that she was a bit cautious about how she handles her zoid. After lunging at the area where he believed she would land, he found his calculations correct and was right on target, but what she did confused him.
Seeing her turn her zoid to face the claws of the Liger Zero, he knew she was a brave person for wanting to take him head on. Still going through, he struck his sturdy opponent who stood to take it, but would he disable her front legs or at least one of them, making her unable to fight back? Or would it do nothing? Keeping the momentum, he began to run around the arena, watching her movements to see what he damaged.

It was time for a classic move. Ai dashed towards the liger zero and had her shield liger headbutt it. The liger zero's claws came down on her legs but it didn't do enough damage to prevent Ai from moving. She aimed a scratch at the liger zero's chest. If she was lucky Ai would manage to damage the zoid a bit. The liger zero began running around the arena and so Ai chased it hoping to catch it.

As he watched her move, Moto managed to barely dodge the scratch before he started to run around the arena, and saw that she was following him. Smirking, he knew that she had fallen for the bait and as he kept running, making her follow, he charged up energy in his front claws and made a 180 turn after landing once running around for a few minutes. Once he was facing her, he decided to charge head on and make a full frontal attack, seeing that she was following him. "No hard feelings beautiful, just the tournament rules," he told her as he lunged at her ready to strike with his strike lazer claws.

"I understand handsome" Ai said flirtatiously as the liger zero lunged at her. Ai lunged at the same time and activated her Strike claws. "No hard feelings" Ai said playfully. This fight was going to be about skill and raw natural power. It was anybody's fight to win the only questions where who would win and how long would it take for that person to win.

"After this why don't I treat you to dinner or something if you want beautiful alright?" Moto said as he lunged at her the same time she did. Striking at her head on, he wondered if he struck before she did, or if he did more damage to her zoid instead of her doing more damage to his. Landing, he waited for a few seconds to see what would happen.

"Oh, dinner? Sounds like a good plan to me" Ai said happily. She had two reasons to be happy; one Ai was called beautiful again and she never gets tired of that and two she didn't have to buy dinner that day which also made her happy. Ai landed and waited a moment. She couldn't tell if she struck first or if he did. Ai didn't plan on wasting this opportunity. She quickly spun around to face the liger zero and pounced on it with two strike claws activated. "You shouldn't drop your guard just cause I'm beautiful" Ai said playfully.
