Battle Mode: 0992 Arena: Forest| Open Space 0.05 kilometers Opponent: Ai Otome
“Thump..thump..thump”
This was the only resonance prominent over the tranquil, hushed wind. However this sound was amplified drastically, a fair distance away from Judge capsule model was a rather large outline, moving across the meadow frenzied plains with not only near the imperceptible alacrity, but the reverberation of its colossal supports bashing against the ground with every movement. This sound would have only been generated by a structure, hefty enough to place enough credence and pressure against the ground, and those were the two key factors which could describe the progressing Saber-lion approaching the still standing Capsule.
Piloting this impressive animal familiar was a young prodigy who commonly went by his forename, Ikazuchi Ryûsuke. The dark haired talent had currently be scouting the area for what could be considered as a decent spar between Zoids, his goals were to impress enough locals and officials so that he could be better recognized and gain access into a faction. However this goal was only accomplishable by striving and constantly proving to others that you are serious about what needs to be accomplished to achieve such a goal.
Moving in closer onto the stationed zoid ahead, the purple eyes of Ryûsuke locked onto the sensory screen within his cockpit as his radars targeted a large structure just up ahead, a Zoid. Increasing the velocity and speed of his forth moving Zoid, Ryûsuke would make his way towards the open field and within moments a large mound of dusk compiled within the area as the Saber-lion maundered into a swift halt only a few yards away from the opposing Judge capsule. Opening his Cock-pit, Ryûsuke would station himself within his seat as he waited peacefully for his leader, but more importantly, his rival to appear, surely an entrance in which one he had just manifested would cause some type of cautious interest opposing Zoid who should be arriving any moment.
“Lady Ai, lets see what our leader is truly capable of.”

Ai and her shield liger made there way to the designated battle area. You could hear the footsteps of the shield liger as it slowly walked across the landscape. In the distance was a saberlion belonging to Ai's own teammate, Ryûsuke. Ryûsuke had opened his cockpit and had begun to talk. Ai opened her cockpit and replied cheerfully. "Oh, you'll see what I can do, don't worry" Ai said. with that said she closed the cockpit and began mentally preparing herself for another battle. Ai waited for the judge to begin the fight.

Battle mode 0992 commencing, Zoid pilots please take your stance…1….2….3 BEGIN!
With the Judge capsule officially beginning the battle, Ryûsuke would immediately secure his cockpit chamber and soon activate all sentential functions of his Saber-lion. It was now time to test the dexterity capability of Ai Otome and to truly test the vigor of an autonomous woman. Activating his Comm.-link, Ryûsuke gave off a small grin as he captivatingly gazed at Ai from the vertical connection.
“Before we begin, may I ask what do I get if I win?”
Questioned Ryûsuke in a humorous tone of voice as he left the Comm. Link active ling enough for Ai to give her response, afterwards followed by the deactivation and the tightening of the grip around the Saber-lion’s main control panel as he prepared himself for the upcoming battle that had already officially started. Scanning over the area, Ryûsuke would make great use of his abnormal growth rate, perception, and superior intelligence as he generated a mental diagram of his surrounding area, memorizing the numerous land marks and environmental structure. This was a solid and relatively common method that rests within Ryûsuke’s style of tactical combat.
The first move wouldn’t be given to Ryûsuke as he would offer it up to Ai which was evident threw his extensive wait after the match had started, and secondly by his previous question. However this wouldn’t diminish his offensive, and defensive stance as he continued to hold tight grip on the main control, slowly moving the Saber-lion to the side, however with every step to the side, the distance between the two was increased as the teal Lion familiar moved backwards with a side step, still having control over tis motions and reflexive abilities.

Ai heard the judge begin the fight and griped her controls tightly. Ryûsuke's question surprised Ai but she kept focused on the battle. "What do you mean by that. Are you expecting something more than prize money and team points" Ai asked in a humorous tone. Ai ran towards the saberlion and activated the shield. If Ai ran into the saberlion then it would get hurt badly. Ai prepared to use a weapon just in case her attack missed.

Battle Theme: Baby its you
Laughing slightly at Ai’s simple, but comical rejoin, Ryûsuke closed the COM link between the two as he continued on with his intimidating scope around the Stationed Shield Liger as the tactical genius continued to not only scrutinize the features of Ai’s Zoid, but also the area in which surrounded the Tiger familiar. Within an open legroom, both zoids had an advantage being two zoids specializing in velocity. However it was nothing new that the Saber-lion was ultimately faster and holding a larger range of close range weapons; this also worked in the favor of the Liger as they were known to host ranged weapons, but with such a open locale, and at such a distance, Ryûsuke wasn’t limited by the reality of being hit by ranged weapons as he could easily maneuver around such weapons.
“Shields, so early?”
Ryûsuke thought to himself as he soon continued on from his original path and soon darted into a straight path as the Saber-lion rushed from the charging Shield Liger as Ai activated its E-Shields. Previously activating all his sentential devices and tools within the zoid, two virtual screen appeared in front of Ryûsuke as one digitally animated the rear of Ryûsuke’s Lion threw the activation of his Rear Security Sensor, and the other monitor showed the front due to the Dual Sensor Eye. From the use of Radar Ear function, Ryûsuke could virtually heat anything from a distance approaching him. Used in conjuration with the other sensory systems, there was enviably no way to cooperate trickery on Ryûsuke as there was no way to sneak up on him without the latest technology in stealth.
While running from the regressively following Shield Liger, using his unique skills, Ryûsuke could effectively maneuver from rear actions threw the two screens so that if the Liger decided to use runs or torrents, they would prove near ineffective as the distance between he two increased. Ai also made one fatal flaw, the shields did have a charge period and they consisting used energy so invariable activation would only drain the shields power, and overall efficiency.

Ai shut off her shield when she noticed that the shield liger and saberlion where not going to collide. Ai was running after the saberlion and tried to think of the best possible combination for this situation. She needed to seal the saberlion's movements and then attack. Ai knew that the saberlion excelled at close range combat so she made some distance. Thinking of what weapons her shield liger had and what the current situation was Ai thought of a plan.
While chasing the saberlion Ai activated her shield liger's twin pop-out type missile pods. She didn't aim at the saberlion, instead her aim was around the opposing zoid. This way one false move would mean heavy damage. Ai fired a total of six missiles and aimed them in a circle around the saberlion. While waiting to see if her plan worked Ai deactivated the missile pods and turned on the anti-zoid 30mm double-barreled beam gun and locked on to the back right leg of the saberlion. Ai fired three shots and then waited to see what the result was. Hopefully something would work out in her favor.

While attempting to produce detachment between the two, Ryûsuke noticed from the stern facing monitor that the Shield Liger was dragging further and further into the distance at an alarming rate. Too fast to use the speed factor of the Saber-lion, this meant that Ai was purposely slowing down. Was it her plan to stay at a distance? Thought Ryûsuke as he pushed the controls further, increasing the movement speed of the Saber-lion and almost near full speed. Before the complete image of the once trailing Liger faded, Ryûsuke caught glance of what seemed to be two missile pods lifting from the exterior of Ai’s Zoid which meant she was now taking the offensive.
Still moving forward, two beaming alert signals occupied the skins as the digital monitors showed that of six missiles firing towards the Saber-lion. However from their trajectory pattern, they weren’t aimed directly towards the Zoid, however scattered on both sides in attempts to collide further along and so, Ryûsuke didn’t need to be at the point of collision.
Before the Missiles were on the sides of the Saber-lion, the teal zoid would soon shift its position and lowered closer to the ground with precise measurements instructed by its proprietor. While lowered towards the ground, the missiles that were aimed towards his side soon bypassed overhead and with that another threat was generated.
Noticing the fast approaching beam, the Saber-lion soon pushed itself forward and within seconds the area in which the lion zoid once lied shattered as the beam connected with the ground, plastering rocks and grim all over. Not wasting time, Ryûsuke and his Saber-lion would soon rush towards the Shield liger in a crisscross manner as the evasion of range attacks increased, making for a more difficult target. However not moving directly towards the Liger and Ai, Ryûsuke moved close to the ground in fast motion and continued to circle the tiger Zoid however with every rotation, the distance between the two decreased.

Ai watched as the saberlion dodged both of her attacks and began to run in a crisscross pattern towards her at an incredible speed. She couldn't lock to on to the saberlion but noticed that it was getting closer and closer. Ai watched the saberlion circle her and formed a plan now that she saw a pattern in the saberlion's movements. Ai would wait until it was close to her and then turn on the shield quickly. If this worked then the shield would damage the saberlion and possibly knock it back a bit which would give Ai time to attack it. She was taking a gamble here but she was fine with that. Ai waited until the saberlion was close to her and activated the shield while running forward. All that was left was to see if her plan would work.

Circling the Stationed the Shield Liger, Ryûsuke would effortlessly evade both attacks using sound tactical planning. The plans of the Saber-lion’s host was to simply win by out maneuvering his opponents, simple as it can get, the detailing behind such a goal were difficult. However not for one who maintained the skill level to achieve such high expectations, Ryûsuke fell into that category. Future elite in his own right, Ryûsuke had to make a declaration, showing all that he was solemn about his sport, and that he was ultimately a threat to all who faced him, even to those with both better zoids and or more experience.
‘So you decide to use your queen so early on?”
Muttered to himself within the confines of the Saber-lion cockpit was Ryûsuke viewing from a monitor Ai activating her E-Shied once more? Straying from his original plan, Ryûsuke would now make it his goal to dismantle the shields of the Liger, thus completely stripping it of any defensive measurements against Ryûsuke’s future onslaught. Once again the Liger was charging towards Ryûsuke with the intentions of using previous battle tactics against the Saber-lion and its host. However already viewing this method once before, Ryûsuke had virtually diagramed its use in his mind, and defeating it with his own tactics.
Instead of using his former tactic of running away to drain the shields power, this time Ryûsuke would apply so much force to its exterior that the shield would have to use a ample more power to even maintain its establishment. Darting towards the Liger, the two were now on a collision path, however staying in his meander pattern; Ryûsuke would activate the Lion’s High friction blades, as two massive blades on the sides of its face stuck out, and one on its head. Within seconds these blades began to illuminating a dominant bright white and using the pattern to evade any incoming projectiles the mighty Saber-lion would shake its head and soon the left friction blade made contact with the shields. Due to the force applied in such a attack coupled by the momentum that went into the attack, Ryûsuke could only wait and see of much damage would be caused from the shields seeing as virtually none would be caused to him since the blades absorbed the force that would have been applied to the zoid itself.

Ai was impressed with Ryûsuke's piloting skills. He was doing very well against someone of higher rank. Ai watched as the saberlion's blades were activated and began to glow with a dominant bright white light. The blades connected with Ai's shield and so the shield started suing more energy to keep going. Ryûsuke had made one flaw in his planning however. Ai could fire her weapons and at this close range her shots were bound to hit. She aimed at the front left leg of the saberlion and activated the shield liger's anti-zoid three-barrel shock cannon and fired off three rounds which meant nine bullets so some were bound to hit. "You've got some very impressive skills Ryûsuke" Ai said cheerfully. Ai's computer said that her shields were about to give out so she jumped backwards to avoid the brunt of the attack. Ai waited patiently to see if her tactic had worked.

Connection, solid connection could only describe the impact that Ryûsuke’s High friction Blades had caused the Ai’s Shield Liger. All four paw like limbs planted firmly against the ground, there was absolutely nothing knocking the Teal Saber-Lion off of balance which could ensure fast break evasion if needed as Ryûsuke gazed from within his cock-pit personally saw the damage that his blades had caused. However not lowering his guard, Ryûsuke still held tight grip on his main controls as he instantly shifted forced Saber-lion to the side, rushing away to create distance between the two.
As evaluated earlier, Ryûsuke knew that Shield Liger had mounted Ranged weapons and also knew that taking close range attack were a risk and thus needed to attack quickly, and leave even faster if he wanted to maintain a advantage in the battle. While piloting the Saber-lion, a small screen popped up on the main interface of Ryûsuke’s monitors that indicating that the lower left leg of his Zoid was knicked by one of the bullets that Ai had seemingly launched. Though no fatal, this small cavity could possibly lower the effectiveness of the Saber-lion slightly.

Ai was in a very difficult spot at the moment. Her shields couldn't be used for a while, her shots kept missing, and she had no plans. Ai checked her remaining weapons but didn't know if they could help. On the plus side however this fight had gotten Ai's adrenaline pumping and she hadn't had a fight this good in a long time. Ai wasn't sure what she could to do win right now.
Ai formed a simple plan based on her armor and weaponry. She decided to go all out and fire all her weapons. This way she'd hopefully hit the saberlion with something and even if she didn't Ai could use the shield liger in close range combat. Ai started with her missiles, she locked on to the saberlion and fired the remaining ten missiles. From there Ai fired off all of her anti-zoid 30mm double-barreled beam gun shots followed by the AMD double-barreled 20mm beam cannon, and finished with the anti-zoid 3-barrel shock cannon. Ai waited to see if any of her shots had hit their intended target.

This mêlée had indisputably given Ryûsuke something to deliberate on after everything was settled. His postponements were indeed fulfilled as the youth mastermind had gained a ample quantity of desired information on his Team Leader. Her skills were of advance proficiency, and this was only coupled by the fact that she could efficiently pilot her Shield Liger with the ut-most ease; most pilots couldn’t even handle the inferior, less multifaceted zoids which said a lot about Ai.
After linking his High friction blades on the facade of Ai’s E-Shields, Ryûsuke made it his foremost precedence to create distance between the two to appreciably lesser the chances of being damaged with ranged weapons. While the safeguard needed a momentous interval of time to entirely rejuvenate its power, the Shield Liger was completely vulnerable to any and all attacks that could possibly be launched by the Saber-lion; this hearsay was enough for Ryûsuke to continue his strive for triumph.
Practically planning and anticipating everything that had happened thus far from the very beginning, Ryûsuke made it palpable of his psychological stability, justly marking himself as a genius who was indicated threw the battle alone. Though his Opponent was of a higher status, that didn’t diminish Ryûsuke’s chances of winning as so far he’s held his own against a noteworthy adversary, Ai may have been feeling a awareness of aggravation and bafflement. However at the moment, Ryûsuke mind was on the accolade, that being a conquest, and also to astonish his stunning Leader.
While running, one again another target warning occurred threw one of the Saber-lion’s many sensory systems that he was being trailed by what seemed to be a final stand by his opponent. Moving in a straight edged path, trailing him was a per of missiles that seemed to be locked onto the Lion’s straight path, thou moving in a close interval from one another, a drastic shift of position could easily overcome the missiles as they weren’t homing or heat seeking. Shifting turning to the side, the Saber-lion moved towards the left in a wide spread motion as the missiles landed on the ground, exploding only a mere few yards away from one another. However none has made physical contact with the Saber-lion, only the reverberation and pulsation from the attacks shuck up the Zoid faintly.
Evading the first string of attacks, one would assume that the onslaught would be over. However this wasn’t the case as Ai used essentially all of her ranged weapons. However none would knock their target as they were aimed to lock onto Ryûsuke’s preceding straight formation, the transfer would guarantee that nothing would hit him as the quarter in which the Saber-lion once lied was no debris, dust compiled high in the air and a rather large basin laid in its wake, destructive, but erroneous.
“Check..”
It was time again to take the offensive as Ryûsuke calculated all feasible chances of prevarication that seemed plausible for his opponent; none really seemed valuable at the moment. This indicated that the Saber-lion would hopefully end this battle on this last move. Sprinting towards Stationed Shield Liger, the Tri blades which resided on the Saber-lion opened out once more as the luminous radiance of the surging liveliness returned on their exterior. Moving in a wind pattern, the Saber-lion found itself in a reputable range from the naked Liger and soon thrusted his side (right) blade forward, attempted to clout the Liger frontally, and possibly ending this battle once and for all.

Ai was impressed with the piloting skill of Ryûsuke. His potential was unlimited and Ryûsuke was already pretty much Ai's equal. Ai saw Ryûsuke's maneuver and smiled a bit. He was attempting to end it here and now. As the saberlion's right side blade came towards Ai she activated the last two weapons her shield liger had; strike claws and strike fangs. Ai aimed the front right paw of her zoid towards the right side blade of the saberlion. At the same time Ai aimed the fangs of her zoid at the saberlion's neck. Being naturally heavier armored than the saberlion Ai felt that this might give her a slight advantage. She braced for impact and waited to see what would happen.

OOC: By using your right front paw/ claw to obstruct my right Friction blade, you would have to traverse it over your body, if even slightly, meaning that it would be in the way of your face and blocking the side of mines. This means that you wouldn’t be able to scheme around your appendage since a portion of your arm would be there two (And though not the larger part of the leg, its still broad) and the Liger’s neckline isn’t that long, and aren’t as lithe therefore, you wouldn’t be able to gnaw my neck, and if you attempted to bite me, you would bite your own paw, or have to move it.
Sprinting towards the Liger with substantial rapidity and momentum; The Saberlion would soon depart from it’s interweave proposition as it came closer to the stationed Shield Liger. With no exterior protection, and not specializing in Close range combat as the Saver-lion did, the odds of halting or even countering the High Friction blades would have to be planned thoroughly, accumulating all possible pro’s and con’s that could come from such a attack, anticipate it, then defeat it. Those were the required steps to even comprehend the thought of evading the attack in which Ryûsuke was preparing to convey.
Now within range, Ryûsuke would attempt to drive the point of the blade into the Shield Liger directly however went on alert as he noticed his blade was slowly being halted by what seemed to be the claw of the Shield Liger. While gazing upon, Ryûsuke also noticed that the fangs of the Shield Liger began to shine which would indicate a striking or biting motion. However there was one good thing that occurred in the collision thus far. Since the blade was halted by the right front paw that meant that the arm was seemingly traversed over the Liger’s cadaver, keeping it off its equilibrium, if only slightly, Secondly since both zoids had squat, non-flamboyant necks, the only acceptable way to strike the Saber-lion would be to remove its paw off the blade.
“Checkmate.”
Exclaimed Ryûsuke as he soon began to operate the main controls, and soon would take the offensive once more. Knowing that the Shield Liger had basically placed itself off balance, and was only supported by two things: its back legs that now had to be slightly lifted, and his paw on the blade of the Saber-lion, Ryûsuke would quickly pull his controls backwards as the mighty lion pulled back, its blade sliding off the paw of the Liger; this alone would most lightly cause damage as the edge of the blade was equipped with energy, increasing its cutting ability, thus by pulling off, the Liger’s paw might become damaged, if not sliced right threw.
With Haste, Ryûsuke hard-pressed the controls forward as most likely the Liger would plunge forward since its foot was now off the blade and would need to fall back to the ground. Within a the contiguous occupied range possible, shifting the Saber-lion’s head downwards and slightly to the right once more, Ryûsuke would attempted to compel the right friction blade into the weakened side of the Liger, and possibly ending this fight.
