It was a hot day in Romeo city,as such it was summer and being that it was summer well, you get the point.... Young Gaily Town Resident, Tsuki Opaline was lounging under her Zoid a big purple raptor with razor sharp claws and a gun for a tail. The shade it gave her was enough for her to beat the heat. Though one thing about the young teen living in a desert knew was- it was never to hot! Unless you counted hot older guys....
With a sigh she took her canteen out and gulped down some fresh water she got from a store nearby with her little cash she had leftover.The rest money she needed was for a place to stay for the night. An Inn or a hotel would work nicely for her and she wasn't picky so... A sudden guttural growl emitted from her Zoid as she just sighed, it seems her Zoid she lovingly name "Lagia" was not enjoying be a hulking umbrella for her.
Getting up Tsuki looked at the Unenlagia with a lopsided frown. "Okay, okay... We'll go out and find something to do..." She muttered a few words in aggravation as she climbed into he cockpit of her "friendly" Zoid. With that done they shot off towards the outskirts of the city into a large grassy field...

Rui watched the sandy landscape stroll leasurly by as Ciel continued towards Romeo city, fresh from their most recent mission of saving a village from a group of vicious vandels. Unlike most pilots, Rui wasn't in the cockpit, and didn't need to be, instead opting to pass the trip resting on Ciel's back. Takeing a swig of water from her canteen, she began singing a song softly to herself.
Face to the sea
I hear the wind
Calling me to truth
It was the first bit of a lullaby her mother used to sing to her. Even now, it still reminded the village girl of her home, nestled in an unimportant valley far off in the country. It had been a quiet little village, and even now, she hated bandits with a passion. Perhaps that's why this last mission had been so satisfying.
Close your eyes
And dream beneath
The warmth of skies of blue
Perhaps that's why she was feeling so nostalgic. The whole situation felt so familar. A small, unimportant town, attacked by bandits. The only difference was this time Rui had been there to do something. Even the leader had looked just like the leader of the bandits who had distroyed her village.
Longing to rest my weary bones
So long the path
O be still my soul
Rui sat up and brushed a tear from her eye. These were her most painful memories. Before she could remenisce anymore, Rui spotted a figure in the distance, an Uenlagia in a grass field. And from how close it was to people, it didn't seem to be a wild. Deciding to take a chance, Rui got on the shortwave and hailed the Uenlagia and its pilot. "Ohayo over there. How are you today?" Dispite those memories, Rui put on a happy voice able to fool almost anyone.

Tsuki blinked as she opened her Zoid's cockpit to look and see who was calling her... She stood on Lagia's head much to it's displeasure as she looked around. Spotting the other Zoid and the other girl she smiled and waved erratically. "ELLO~!" Deciding to get closer she jumped back into the cockpit to greet the female. Mosing over she spoke kindly. "Hi~ I'm Tsuki~" She blinked. "Who are you?"

"My name's Rui" the Evoflyer's pilot said. "It's not often you meet an Unenlagia Pilot out here." She pulled her own stop next to the giant purple raptor-zoid. "And you still haven't answered my question," Rui said with a smile, "How are you today?" Rui climbed out of the cockpit and called this out across the gap between the two Zoids instead of using the com-channel.
Side by side, the two zoids would have looked like siblings, both had similar frames, and in fact, even shared parts beyond the basic Blox system. Ciel had just come from a mission with Rui, and was immensely tired. The Microraptor zoid was much looking forward to resting for a while, but it looked like she would have to wait a little longer.

Tsuki blinked and then smiled as the woman introduced herself as Rui. "Rui, Nice name!" "Yeah you don't see many of the Unenlagia Pilots out there." She said leaning on her Zoid. "Oh! Sorry- I'm doing fine~"

The statistics of the Unenlagia ran through Rui's head; zoid schematics had been her best subject. A small size zoid, it was equipped with a tail assault rifle much like a slightly weaker version of the Gun Sniper's. It was also equipped with a pair of fully automatic weapons called 'Handguns'. It had been developed by Zoitec for the Republic along with Leoblaze, with whom it could combine into Dual Arms Lizard, as well as Nightwise and Mosasledge. With all three of the other zoids, an Unenlagia could become the Matrix Dragon.
Rui walked over to the edge of Ciel's back, asking Tsuki "I haven't seen you around here before." Figuring that continuously yelling across the gap with play havoc with her voice, Rui took a running start and leaped across the space between the two zoids. She landed rather lightly on all fours. Turning to face Tsuki, she continued where she had left off, "You new to zoid battling?"

Tsuki was stunned at her acrobatic performance and couldn't find much to speak, let alone find her voice... "A-Ah, Yes, I mean NO I'm not exactly new.. I've been handling Zoids for about three years- why?" She questioned as she sat on her Zoid's head once again to it's annoyance.

Ciel sat down to rest as Rui explained, "I've never seen you around here before, and most zoids warriors are often in or around the town." She sat down on the large purple zoid's shoulder with her legs over the edge. A magnificent piece of work this one, it was in impressive condition. That condition was likely a result of one of two things; one, the zoid was rather new, or two, the pilot had never used it in a battle before.
"It doesn't look like you've been in many battles." Rui said, standing up and meandering closer to where Tsuki was. After a moment, she said, "Do you even have a team?" Ciel yawned a big yawn, she was really wanting to get back to the base. I hope this doesn't take too much longer. She said to no one but herself.

"Eh?" Tsuki blinked she never thought of it before... "I'm not really into battling yet... I'm just a mechanic really... and no I'm not part of a team.. why?" She questioned with a curious stare. "I mean- I'm HOPING to join a Team in the near future when I get some skills in me and all." She confessed as she stood up and stretched a bit.

Rui smiled what her parents had called her 'Salesperson Smile'. "Then, why don't you join my team?" Rui paused, "I don't have much skill myself, yet I managed to get a place on the team." It would probably be better if Rui explained a little, at least that's what she decided on, "We're a fairly new team, so it's just me and the currently absent boss-man right now."
"I can honestly say that we'd love to have you." Rui extended her hand, "So whaddya say? Wanna join?"

(Rui said it'd be ok if I joined, so here goes)
Tethis was on his way back from traveling around in his Rev Raptor. He was 'taking it for a test drive' so to speak, seeing what it could do. He only got it recently and it was in good condition. On his way to the city, he could see a couple of zoids in the distance. It seemed to be a Unenlagia and an Evoflyer.
Tethis decided to go check it out, since he really didn't have anything better to do at the moment. His Rev Raptor, equiped with a giant pile driver, turned from the city and started heading towards the two zoids. When he was close enough to them, the zoid stood still as the cockpit opened, and Tethis jumped out. He saw two women on top of the Unenlagia. "Hello ladies."

Just after Rui made her offer, another raptor zoid came strolling up. The cockpit opened to reveal a heavily scared and lightly dressed man with dark hair and light eyes. honestly, that Rev-pilot is a walking ball of contradictions. Ciel thought to herself.
Rui happened to be thinking something similar, "Well aren't you one big contradiction?" She said, turning to this interloper. "Never seen you around here either, are you new as well?"

Tethis shrugged off the first question, but responded to the second. "I live in Romeo City actually, so no, I'm not new around here." He stated. "The name's Tethis." He said, introducing himself.
He wasn't surprised that she hasn't seen him, seeing that he doesn't attract much attention, and that he just recently acquired a zoid. He was leaning against it's leg at the time, and it didn't mind it. There were a few problems he still had about zoids, one being that he still had a lot to learn about them, although he seemed to catch on pretty quickly, he wasn't a bad pilot for a beginner. The other problem was that he didn't know much about his Rev Raptor's likes and dislikes. So far it seemed that they were getting along alright however.

"Nice to meet you Tethis, my name's Rui, Rui Zeal." She said, meandering around the back of the Unenlagia. "And this is Tsuki," Rui gestured to the young girl standing on the Unenlagia's head, "I was just inviting her to join my team. You know, why don't you join too?" The Desert Storm team was getting rather lonely, what with her boss disappearing, and her being the only other human member of the team.

Tethis thought about the idea of joining her team, he has been thinking about joining a team for a while now. He then decided. "Sounds good to me, I've been wanting to join a team actually." His Rev Raptor seemed to slightly nod also, it seems like it was thinking the same thing. Being on a team was much better than constant mercenary work, and had more profit as well. A team was one of the best ways to get paid these days.
