"Oh, don't say that, that's not fair. Be proud of your Zoid, I bet it's proud of you!" He coached, looking over at her. "It's not the Zoid you have, it's the heart with which you pilot. Just because you have a Certain Zoid doesn't mean you can't beat another one, you just have to work harder to do so. Trust me, you'd be surprised who you can beat if you really try."

Lenna smiled at Jack's encouraging words. "Yeah, it would be proud of me wouldn't it?" She spoke as though reassuring herself more. "I guess I just have to believe in myself- jeez I sound corny now..." She stifled a giggle, as she turned to Jack then giving him a quick hug. "Thanks Jack- I needed some cheering up, being here in the city is kinda boring and lonely without mom..." She confessed.

"You do sound corny though." Jack said and laughed jokingly, then was taken surprise by her hug. He oddly wrapped his arms around her, it was awkward, but meh, it didn't really matter.
"No problem. Where is your Zoid, anyways? We can go for some test runs. I can give you a ride, if you need one."

"HEY! You weren't supposed to agree with me..." She huffed as she put her hands on her hips, she smiled as she joked as well. "My Zoid is in the outskirts of the city, hidden somewhere safe." She blinked. "Erm.. I'm not all good with um... being up in the air..." She suddenly recoiled at the thought of going in the sky. "Can't we go another way?" She asked nervously.

"Another way? Well, unless you want to walk around there. I don't have a car, I fly my Eagle around when I want to get somewhere, you know?" Jack shrugged. "If you're really that bad though, we can walk through all this heat to get there, it's okay."

Lenna groaned not in the mood to argue or hat a spat. "Fineee I'll go." 'It's better then being in this heat in a mini skirt and with leering eyes....' She thought glumly. "When do we take off Captain?" She mock saluted not feeling so happy about flying in a zoid. "And please no fancy tricks..."

He chuckled when he heard her groan. He knew he had her.
"Fine, I won't pull any tricks, and Ill stay close to the ground so you don't get too terribly scared. He said, smirking slightly. "No worries."

It didn't really make her feel completely better, but she was willing to give it a try... She never flown before... "A-Alright... I'll try- so let's get this Zoid in the air!" She chimed pumping her fist in the air even though she was nervous as hell.

He proceeded to climb into the cockpit, getting his buster Eagle to keel down to make it easier for her to get into. He reached his hand out to her.
"Here! Grab my hand!" Jack exclaimed, offering to help her get in. The Buster Eagle was just a bit high, so he figured it would help.

Nodding she took Jack's hand and climbed into the cockpit with him. She sat in the back shifting her weight as she sat nervous. "Ready when you are Jack." She didn't know if she would like this, but she trusted him, even if they just met.... He just had a 'aura' around that made him seem he knew what he knew what he was doing.

Nodding to her, he pointed to a helmet, and started to coach her.
"Fasten your Seatbelt, and Put on your Helmet. In my bird, safety is first." He said, smiling to her.
"No one's getting hurt up here, alright?"

Lenna looked at the helmet and then put it on, fastening her seatbelt she smiled. Giving him the thumbsup she prepared her mind and body for any effects that would make her scream or faint.. That's the last thing she wanted to do....

Smiling, he gave her a thumbs up back.
"Hopefully, you won't feel a thing, except during takeoff. You'll be back in your seat just a bit." As the Eagle rose up, he began to walk out into a more open area, for a safe takeoff zone.
"You ready?"

Nodding Lenna watched as they began to to move, well atleast they weren't in the air yet... 'I wonder why I decided to do this anyway?' She mentally sighed. Whatever her reason for agreeing was she hoped she wouldn't regret it... 'Damn me and parking my Zoid outside the city....' She mentally grumbled.

He smiled, and the Zoid lightly and gently took flight. Propelling itself into the air, it soon was flying at a rather low speed, he wouldn't dare push the speed very high, because she wasn't used to it. Still, 300 miles an hour was faster than you could go on the ground.
