Quick Brawl

[Ai Otome]

As Ai got closer to her opponent she felt something hitting her zoid. It was a few rounds of machine gun fire. Ai checked her computer to make sure her shield liger was alright and could still fight. Ai's attack missed but this got her close to Amaya. At this close range it would be hard to dodge attacks so Ai once again turned on her Anti-Zoid 30mm Double-Barreled Beam Gun and let loose several rounds. A beeping sound came from Ai's computer and she looked to see what it was. The shield was cooled down and ready to be used again. Ai was going to time her activation of the shield this time to maximize her chances of winning.

[Amaya]

Amaya was glad to see her attack had landed, but she wasn't glad to see the Liger was still in good condition. She was going to have to really go in for the kill. The zaber fang reared back, its head low to the ground and its tail high up. It lunged forward taking a round to the chest, but it was still able to move. Amaya looked at the screen and saw she had taken enough damage to get a light warning, but she was still in the fight. The zaber fang fired several rounds from the beam machine gun and when it was close enough it brought its claws down hard aiming for the Liger's neck. The glowing metal revealed that it wasn't just claws, they where amplified by energy making them more destructive.

[Ai Otome]

Ai smiled as her attack hit and my the looks of it the attack did some damage. The zaber fang lunged at Ai and she noticed the machine gun was moving, sings it was about to fire and quickly turned on her shield. Ai took a few hits but the shield kept out most of the damage and Ai decided to copy the zaber fangs move. Ai lunged at the zaber fang with her Strike Claws ready to attack. This was coming down to a fight of claws.

[Amaya]

Amaya growled as the shield deflected the clawed attack. When the claws made contact with the shield she jumped back ready to strike again. The zaber fang reared upward in preparation to attack the Shield Liger. When it was close enough the zaber fang jumped forward above the shield liger and brought down a deadly clawed paw aiming for the head and then it lowered its own head, its massive fangs aimed so that they would scrape the back of the liger. Amaya was turning her counters into a chance to draw blood.

[Ai Otome]

The zaber fang jumped over Ai and landed behind her. Being on the ground Ai was able to turn around quickly as she landed. Ai wasn't going to make the fight easy for Amaya. Ai turned on another gun and let loose several rounds of her AMD Double-Barreled 20mm Beam Cannon. She hoped that she made contact with her guns. Ai's shield was starting to fade a bit, one more solid hit and she'd have to shut it off or risk severe overheating. "You're pretty good" Ai said. She respected opponents who were good and seemed to have potential.

[Amaya]

The zaber fang growled loudly as it missed its target. As soon as its front two feet hit the ground it spun so its back was no longer to the liger. Amaya had to weigh her options. She could try and get in close again or try and weaken the liger from afar. She made her decision quickly when she saw the beam canon ready to fire. The zaber fang took off towards the liger and jumped to the left making sure it was no longer in the line of fire. "Thanks, your not to bad yourself." Amaya said smirking. It barreled forward its mouth open ready to bite down on metal. When it was close enough it pounced onto the Liger trying to bite down on the neck and attempted to bring its claws down across the liger's face.

[Ai Otome]

Ai watched as the zaber fang moved. It was pretty fast and it could really move, but the pilot is what controls the zoid meaning Amaya was really good. As the zaber fang got closer Ai turned her AMD Double-Barreled 20mm Beam Cannon and fire of some rounds. The shield was holding for now but if the fangs connected then it would most likely shut off. "That's certainly a compliment coming from a pilot of your caliber" Ai said. It wasn't in her nature to be rude to anybody, even enemies, and Amaya was an opponent not an enemy so why couldn't she be nice?

[Amaya]

Amaya didn't even try to dodge she took the attack instead she blocked the beam cannon rounds with the right paw of her zoid. She heard the sound of warnings, but ignored them. She could still fight, but she wouldn't be able to take another hit to that leg without it becoming unresponsive. She was still heading towards the liger. The zaber fang crashed into the Liger and the jaws attempted to bite down on the neck of the lager, intimidating fangs ready to pierce metal. She would have returned a compliment after the attack, but she had zoned out. She was to enthralled in this attack.

[Ai Otome]

Ai was surprised that Amaya could block the beam cannon rounds with the paw of her zaber fang. She knew that doing that must have weakened the leg and damaged it pretty bad. The bite from the zaber fang came and that meant that Ai's shields were shut down. Ai turned so she was face to face with the zaber fang and used a strike claw to attack the left side of the zaber fang. Ai only used the claw attack as a distraction. She aimed her AMD Double-Barreled 20mm Beam Cannon at the zaber fang's right leg and fired four rounds. At this close range it would be nearly impossible to dodge or avoid. This fight was in the bag hopefully anways.

[Amaya]

Amaya knew she was in an all or nothing fight. The Zaber fang's head pulled back out of attack rang and struck again its massive Fangs aimed for the neck, but slanted so that they would go through the neck and into the head of the opposing zoid. Amaya ignored the beeping as the right leg was made useless, she didn't care. This battle would be decided in this struggle. She used the opposing zoid as a brace as she brought the left leg of her zoid high and slammed it down, the claws aimed at the Liger's side. If it hit it would slash from the top of its back to the bottom of its stomach. She was going to do as much damage as she could it. It would be hard to dodge the attack to the neck of the zoid and the side because of the close proximity and entanglement.

[Ai Otome]

This fight was getting serious and starting to become fast paced. Amaya was aiming for the shield liger's neck which kind of annoyed Ai. She had an idea of getting the zaber fang away from her precious shield liger. Ai had the shield liger lower it's head and then raise it up quickly. This would hopefully be the same as a headbutt to knock the zaber fang off of Ai's precious shield liger. When Ai saw the left paw raise up she decided to get away from the zaber fang. Ai jumped to the side and jumped back a bit. Ai could tell that without some support the right leg would not work. Ai was so caught up in her own tactics she didn't notice that her shield liger had been scratched until a beeping noise came from her computer screen to asses damage. Ai readied her AMD Double-Barreled 20mm Beam Cannon and thought that the fight should end here and now. She prepared to fire if the zaber fang moved and was aiming at the neck of the zaber fang.

[Amaya]

The zaber fang growled loudly as its prey escaped. Her plan hadn't gone as she had hoped, but she had managed to cause some damage. The zaber fang stood proud and ready to attack with is own Anti-Zoid 30 mm Double-Barrelled Beam Cannon. The zaber fang wouldn't be able to use its speed as an advantage, but it still had medium to long range artillery. As long as this zoid was functional this battle would be full of surprise. "Not bad, but I'm not going to lose!" Amaya yelled over the speaker. The Beam Cannon charged quickly and fired off three rounds in quick succession. Since it was a double barrel that added up to six blast each one aimed for the Shield liger's face, which meant the cockpit was her aim. She was going to end this quickly.

[Ai Otome]

"You took the word right out of my mouth Amaya" Ai yelled back. She fired off an equal number of shots at the zaber fang. A thought entered Ai's mind after Amaya had fired. "Hey isn't it illegal to aim at a zoid's cockpit" Ai asked. If it wasn't illegal to aim at the cockpit it was at least cheap. Ai fired off more four shots, since it was a double-barreled cannon that made it eight shots, at the zaber fang's left leg.

[Amaya]

Amaya chuckled at Ai's questions. "I don't play by the rules dear no matter which judge it is. I'm backdraft." Amaya said before the zoid jumped to the left avoiding putting its right leg on the ground. It fired off another six rounds equaling twelve shots. The shots where aimed for the cockpit and front legs. She wasn't sure how long she could outrun these attacks. She was handicapped by the right leg, but she wouldn't be beaten.

Wandering the land with his Liger Zero in toe, Moto was walking all about the world, all the places that were easily accessible to him at least. Getting tired of walking, he hopped in the cockpit of the Zoid and began just walking slowly since that was about the only thing that Liger would allow him to do with him. As they were traveling, he spotted explosions in the distance, and darted towards it as fast as he could, and stopped short in a distance that was safe from the fight. As he watched, he got a zoomed view of the contestants, one on the right screen and one on the left. The one on the right had a Zaber Fang, the one on the left had a shield liger. Watching the battle from a distance, he made sure to stay out of the fight unless he needed to get into it, and saw the fireworks.
