1.) Aikido Expert: In order to defend herself, Sakashi has learned how to defend herself using a defensive martial art called Aikido.
2.) Zoid Designer: Sakashi is knowledgeable about the workings of Zoids despite her young age. As such she also knows how to create new weapons, and even customize and possibly create new Zoids entirely.
3.) Empathy: Sakashi has always been able to seemingly sense emotions in people, allowing her to get an idea of their character or what not by observing them. This empathy has also carried on to Zoids and as such she can somewhat commune with them, though in reality she simply senses their moods and emotions.

Personality:
Sakashi is a very gentle and kind person; her empathic abilities allowing her to form deeper connections with people than most, and also allows her a certain degree of communication with Zoids. She’s fun loving and has a degree of mischievousness that makes its way to the surface every so often. She’s very optimistic about the future, and while not naïve, has faith that humans will better themselves. Much like her brother, she shares a love of music, and though she doesn’t care much for some of the harsher genre’s enjoys several others.
History:
Sakashi grew up in Akatoni with her older brother Shadow. Her parents died early in her life, and she remembers very little about them being 5 at their time of death. When she was 9 her brother left to join the army in order to support her, leaving her in town and sending her money to support her. Though her brother’s pay did well in providing necessities for her, Sakashi began to take up odd jobs around town in order to help get some extra money and ease her brother’s burden. A year after her brother left however, she met someone who would change her life forever.
At the age of 10, Sakashi met a traveling zoids mechanic by the name of Aiyoku Amaya. Amaya was coming back from taking a look at some zoid ruins and stopped by the town for a pit stop. While there, Sakashi ended up asking her about zoids, and Amaya began to teach her about them, and even started to show her how to fix them, leaving some guides for the young girl to read. Sakashi was very smart for her age and immediately became fascinated by Zoids and their workings. After Amaya left, Sakashi began working at the local zoid mechanics where she quickly learned more and more about zoids. Working in the shop, Sakashi’s natural empathy allowed her to connect to zoids and gave her a better understanding of them than most people. However, after 2 years another event happened to disrupt her life.
After a sudden, and very sizable allowance from her brother suddenly left the Helic army. In order to figure out what happened, Sakashi joined the Helic Army herself and quickly found a spot for herself in the Zoid Research and Development section. While there, Sakashi learned more about zoids than any time in her life, and was quickly promoted through the ranks of scientists. She also proved to be a capable zoid pilot and even participated in some of the mock battles between the Republic and Empire. In one battle, the Pteras she was piloting was shot down by a lone opponent, and she ended up crashing into the opposing zoid resulting in a double command freeze. Her opponent then helped her out of the cockpit, and it was in this way that she met Reven Vrake.
Less than a year after befriending Reven, Sakashi finally got some communication from her brother. It seemed that Shadow had gotten involved with the Backdraft group for the past 2 years and had decided to leave them as their goals and ideal began to deviate from what attracted him in the first place. Worrying that her brother wouldn’t be able to avoid the group without help, Sakashi called in Reven for the help he had promised should she ever need it. Together with Reven, she helped start up a new Zoids team, calling in her original mentor Amaya, whom she had kept contact with throughout the years. The new team is now preparing to work their way into B class and Sakashi is hopeful that they’ll do well in the competitions.
