Hearing this and watching her brother's Saix escape safely after destroying the Dark Spiner's spines, Sakashi smiled as she lined up her sights on the Spiner. Over the now working radio she replied to her brother, "Yokai Desu! Buster Cannons! IKE!!!" With her yell the large buster cannons of the Buster Eagle fired two powerful rounds from their barrels and sped straight at the rampaging Dark Spiner.

Reven cheered as Shadow’s Lightning Saix knocked out the Jamming Array and that bunch of problems was solved. Unfortunately, the Dark Spiner wasn’t out of this yet. As he saw it turning back to him, Reven reactivated his targeting computer, and the entire back turret locked onto the Dark Spiner. The Spiner got the first few shots in, hitting the right front leg of the Dark Horn. The head of the zoid crashed down hard, and Reven was thrown about in his cockpit. Now, his mobility was practically nil, and he was sitting duck. However, his turret was still fully online. He slammed his thumb down on the firing trigger, and practically everything on the Zoid’s back, including the Hybrid Vulcan, the Missile pod, the Shock Cannon, and the beam launcher cut loose, sending a flurry of fire directly at the Dark Spiner.
Ha! No Spines means no deflectors! Eat LEAD! Reven mentally challenged.
“Amaya! Sakashi! Blast that thing to bits!” Reven was hoping Shadow would keep a perimeter, in case this thing had friends.

[Aiyoku Amaya]

As Amaya continued to slowly work towards the Dark Spiner, she heard a familiar voice. Shadow's voice came in over the comm, meaning the Dark Spiner's fins had been eliminated. With a smirk on her face, she flipped on the targeting computer and radar, moving into the best position to hit the Dark Spiner from. She stood in a road that lead right to the Dark Spiner's position and neither the Dark Horn nor the Lightning Saix were in a risky spot.

"Will do. Let's see how the Backdraft enjoy this one." she replied to Reven as she held down the trigger, firing the energy cannons on her back multiple times as the barrage of energy rounds flew towards the Dark Spiner rather quickly. Fortunately for her, she was still a good distance away from the unit, so she didn't have to worry about counter attacks.

Indeed the Spiner could no longer deflect shots for it had been, for lack of a better term, "de-spined." But there was always another option. While in its sprint, the Zoid ahead of it unleashed a barrage of fire. Unluckily for the Buster Eagle behind it, the Spiner's method of evasion would have been to dodge to the side. A simple push off of one leg during its run would render it out the path of the Dark Horn's fire, allowing its salvo to move toward the Buster Eagle's buster cannon fire. Considering the attack amount, not only would the Dark Horn's fire over power that of the Buster Eagle's, but send some towards the Eagle itself.

The Spiner's run would continue, forward instead of to the side this time. Fire from the Genosaurer was probably met with the fire of the Dark Horn, maybe even saving the Buster Eagle from spare rounds. Veering off its straight path, the Dark Spiner would go in for an assault to the Dark Horn. Its feet lit up with the use of its Strike Laser Claws as it performed what resembled a flying karate kick to the side of the Dark Horn, aiming to tear the cannon mounted on its back clean off while also attempting to cause its system to freeze from extensive body damage.
