Nathan would grab the bags of kisses and peer inside it. "Thats not what I meant... but it is good enough" he said as he put some chocalate in his mouth. Then he noticed somebody by the door of the base. It was a man that was a little shorter than him and very skinny. He had a dark coat on and had black hair with some red in it.
"Hey... welcome to the Team Desert Storm base" he yelled out to the man. He then quickly started to run over to him saying "What's your business here?". Nathan was curious if he got a new member for his growing team.

And as expected, a young, blond boy would soon be calling out to Iyoku. "Hey... welcome to the Team Desert Storm base" With this the boy would run up to Iyoku and continue to speak. "What's your business here?" It was straight to the point, Iyoku would reply without hardly moving. "Is the owner of this base here? I would like to know how I could join this team." His words would be quick and to the point, much like the question he was asked.

"Your looking at him" Nathan said with a smile. "Now about joining this team... I don't really care how you do it" he said with a slight smirk. "You could just join if you want too... or you could buy your way in... or if you want a Zoid battle that would be fine too" he said with a smile. Right now Nathan didn't care how members joined... he just wanted more of them.

The boy would reply with something Iyoku wasn't expecting. "Your looking at him" He would then continue to speak. "Now about joining this team... I don't really care how you do it. You could just join if you want too... or you could buy your way in... or if you want a Zoid battle that would be fine too" It was an odd tactic for the leader of a team, giving an unknown man the choice in how he joins the team. Iyoku would think for a moment, this crucial decision could change his relationship with this team.
"How about a friendly duel?" Iyoku would attempt at a smile, trying to make it sound like it would be worth the boy's time. "I should know your abilities and you should know mine before either of us decides on anything don't you think?" Iyoku asked for quite a bit, but if this really was the team leader then a battle would be the perfect way to estimate the ability of this team. Not only that but it would be a great test of Iyoku's strength, if this boy was the leader of a team and Iyoku could beat him... there would likely be only a few other people who would be stronger.

"A duel sounds great... and your right... testing your abilities is a good idea" he said with a simle. "Alright come with me..." he said as he went over to the hanger and open it up to reveal the collection of Zoids there was the Evo Flyer, Gun Tiger, Hel Cat, Guysak, Zabat, and Command Wolf in their. "Since I didn't see you have a Zoid you can pick any one in that list besides Command Wolf and Evoflyer" he said with a grin. "Or... if you do have a Zoid nearby you can use that". Then one more thing entered his head "Oh... and I almost forgot... since your the challanger... you can pick my Zoid that I'll use... either Command Wolf, Guysak, Zabat, Gun Tiger, or Hel Cat" he said with a smile. This would be fun since the Zoid he would use would be picked by his opponent.

Rui walked into the hanger. Rui started to tell her new teammate that she was going to go see if she could find a part time job or something, "Hey Nathan..." Rui stopped when she noticed Nathan talking to some new kid, "Who's this? A new Pilot for the team?" After Nathan answered, Rui would introduce herself with a Japanese-style bow, saying "Hajimemash ite, Watashi no namae wa Rui Zeal Desu." If he was a new teammate, she would add 'I hope we work well together.' It occurred to her that she had forgotten to say that to Nathan as well, it was too late now though.
After the pleasantries were exchanged, Rui would announce that she was going to look for a 'side-quest or the like' to do. After that she would climb into her Evoflyer and leave.

A lot happened at once, first the boy in front of me agreed to Iyoku's idea, even allowing Iyoku himself to use a stocked Zoid and to choose the Zoid his opponent used. As Iyoku thought about his answer though, a young lady walked up quickly, speaking to the boy using the name 'Nathan' before saying something directly to Iyoku. "Hajimemash ite, Watashi no namae wa Rui Zeal Desu." Iyoku was a little rusty with Japanese but he could understand the basis of what she was saying. Iyoku would reply to both the lady and 'Nathan' at the same time, speaking in plain English. "I'm doing well thank you Rui, and should I assume that your name is Nathan?" Iyoku directed this question to 'Nathan'
"My name is Iyoku Heams and I am thinking of joining this team in fact." With this Rui would walk away and Iyoku would continue his conversation with Nathan. "Ehem," Iyoku cleared his throat. "I actually have a Zoid stored nearby that I would like to use, I don't mind which Zoid you choose but if you insist on me choosing then I'll chose Gun Tiger." Iyoku chose the Zoid he thought would be the easiest to fight with Stealth Viper, with mostly close range the Gun Tiger should be left in the dust.

Before the newcome could respond, Rui came out and asked "Who's this? A new Pilot for the team?". "It might be..." he said with a little smirk. Than Rui started to speak some jibberish... he didn't have a clue what she was saying. Then Nathan totally forgot that he never mentioned his name to the hopeful enlistee to his team. "Yeah... my name's Nathan... and what's yours" he said as he walked over to the base. He then jumped into the Gun Tiger and said with a smile "Hurry up and get your Zoid if you want to fight".

"Yeah... my name's Nathan..." Nathan than proceeded to enter his Gun Tiger. "Hurry up and get your Zoid if you want to fight". I would nod, signifying my understanding. "Alright, but where are we going to fight at?" Nathan hadn't said anything about any particular battle ground and Iyoku didn't have too great of knowledge about the area...

(( Okay, moderation has been requested on this thread. I have stuff to say to all of you.
First, Nathan and Iyoku: No OOC posting. Only staff are allowed to do this, because we need to do it to moderate threads. It's not fair for you to get posts just for chattering away with each other out of character. I'm deleting your posts.
Second, Jman: You CANNOT be in two threads at once. You know this. In addition to that, you have enemy zoids in your post. That's cool, so long as they're F rank. Just remember that when you come back and make that post, after you're free.
No worries though, none of this is that bad. Consider it a friendly reminder and a 2 post fine. ))

Nathan then heard the man ask where are we goin to fight. "Well... lets see... how about the plains?" he said with a grin. Then Gun Tiger just jumped out of the hanger, and did a fierce roar. Nathan was eager see what this Zoid can do, since this was the first time Nathan used Gun Tiger in a battle. The foe still hadn't revealed his Zoid yet... so Nathan had no clue what he would be facing.

Iyoku would reply, already heading out of the base by the time Nathan would finish talking. "That sounds good, I guess I'll meet you there." Iyoku would have the initial advantage, able to think of a strategy against the Gun Tiger while Nathan would be left in the dark about Iyoku's Stealth Viper. And with this Iyoku would head out of the base towards the garage where his Zoid was docked.

Nathan then watched the man leave the area. "I guess we better get going... huh Gun Tiger" he said with a grin as he piloted the Tiger type Zoid into the distance. They were off to the plains... waiting for their fight.

As Rui returned to the base, followed by a new recruit, she noticed a man standing at the gate with a Gustav. She pulled the Evoflyer she was piloting to a stop, then climbed down from the top of the zoid. As soon as she hit the sands, Ciel, the Evoflyer, trotted off to the hanger to have a nap. "May I help you?" Rui said to the man, who was staring after the zoid that had just left. He had never seen one that could move on it's own.
"Er, yes, are you a Rui Zeal?" the man replyed. From the embelem on his shoulder, and on his Gustav, he was a mail carrier. "Hai" Rui said with a nod, she had ordered some parts for Fury and Kuro a few weeks previous, and it seemed that they had finally arrived. "Then could I get you to sign here?" The mail person (curse you political correctness) held up a large dat-pad, which Rui promptly signed, then told the Currier where to put the packages, then turned back to her new recruit.
"Welcome to the Desert Storm Team Base." Rui made a grand gesture to go with this statement, which nearly smacked the post person square in the nose. Luckily, he managed to duck. Rui would then escort Tethis to the hanger, telling him "This is the hanger, you can store your zoid here, and also you can use any zoid here except the Deathsaurer, which I'm still installing the combat system for, my Evoflyer, Ciel, because she's my Personal Zoid, and the Command Wolf, because he's the bossman's Personal Zoid."
Next Rui would lead Tethis along to the Barracks. While she was doing so, she would explain, "Bossman's gone AWAL, so I'm the boss for now. By the way, since I'm your senior here, you can call me 'Rui-Sempai'. If you want, you can either be in the main part of the team, or directly under me in the Fury Division." Finally, the two of them would reach the Barracks, "You can have any room you want with the exception of my room and bossman's room. By the way, make sure you sign the team list."
Tacked to the bulletin board across from the door was a clipboard with two lists on it. On the left, it was marked TDS, and under that were the signitures of both Rui and the team's leader Nathan Drake, as well as the names of their zoids. Curiously, both were written in Rui's scrawl. The other list was marked FD, and had only Rui's signature and the name Ciel, that being the name of her personal zoid.
A second clipboard to the left of the first held a list of it's own, named Gen. use Zoids, under that was a list off all the team owned beyond the personal zoids and the deathsaurer. The Snipe Master had a hyphen after it, and the initials 'FD'.

Tethis followed Rui all the way to the hanger, where he then climbed out of his zoid. It seemed like the right place to do so. Tethis then followed Rui around for the tour of the base, and it looked like a nice place actually. When she was finished, he had one simple word to say. "Understood."
He also had a question he had to ask. "What does the Fury Division do that the main team doesn't?" It was a question of curiosity, one that would help him decide which to join. He wanted to join the one that would get him the most action, he liked action.
