Normal Theme: Survive
Sorrow Theme: Pale Blue Dot
Rage Theme: Die Motherfricker Die
Melee Battle Theme: Maybe I’m a Lion
Zoid Battle Theme: Burn My Dread ~Last Battle~
Personal Battle Theme: Holy Orders: Be Just or Be Dead
Appearance: Standing at roughly six foot and weighing around 150 pounds, Azler Wilder’s build is not very bulky, but still strong, toned, fit, and sleek, though obviously built more for speed. With pitch black hair that nearly radiates against his soft pale skin, the two features only accentuated the brightness of his eyes, blessed and cursed with heterochromia, his left eye shining a deep emerald green while his right glowed a bright sapphire blue.
Often bearing a white t-shirt and white baggy pants with black leather gloves, belt, and boots, the man is a strange sight to behold. Running along the shirt’s sleeves, shoulders, and sides, even running down along his legs, are silver runic marks, almost resembling vines enveloping his body. Inserted into the backs and palms of the gloves and mid-soles of the boots are metal plates to add extra strength and defense to the areas should he ever need to defend himself. He always has a cell phone with MP3 player capabilities hidden inside one of the jacket’s pockets, with the microphones usually blaring in his ears; mostly either Rock, Techno, or Classical music, all depending upon his mood. When roaming in his Zoid isn’t practical, he drives his black RC51, with black leather seat and fiery red flames painted on the sides.
Personality: “Mysterious“ has been the best word to describe Azler since the day he died, he does his best to hide his past from new people, and does his best to avoid those who know of it.
Charming and courteous despite the circumstance, Azler is a calm, collected, carefree being, often not becoming upset at even the most insulting of comments and retains his humor in all situations. He is a very artistic soul, greatly enjoying poetic justice and irony, always trying to find a new way to wreak vengeance on those truly deserving it.
Fearless in the face of Death, his most common emotion is that of joy, smiling at things that others see as sad or terrifying, displaying his almost childlike nature as he takes things as games more than life or death matters.
Azler will occasionally interact with others, but this is typically only when he has an ulterior motive. In truth, he is seems only to really care, positively or negatively, about a few individuals at all, not even willing to be around those he deems unworthy.
When a threat upon him is made, Wilder will typically play with his opponent if they aren‘t deemed “worthy“ by him, however, if he feels that his being or those of whom he wishes to protect for whatever reason are being truly threatened, he will become stoic and strategic, becoming far more serious about the situation, handling it appropriately and quickly.
Unfortunately, when under great duress, Azler becomes distant and disturbed, his mind slowly becoming unstable. Bursting out at comments not even directed at him, breaking down at the slightest mishap, coming alive at the prospect of harming others. This aspect of Azler is eerily calm and silent at first, symbolizing that of a glass, smooth and simple, yet easily broken, his emotions are unstable and volatile, often completely overwhelming him if he does not resist strongly enough in time. During these times, music seems to be his only relief.
History: Love.
That special thing that binds the world together atop a frail support, so easy to break…
Being born in Miracle City, a grand place for Zoid lovers that rivaled Romeo City, the boy was as enticed as any other child at the wonder that Zoids beheld for all to witness, yet at first, it seemed his destiny was to only watch the great machines.
The family that had born the boy was consistent of five individuals, his mother, father, and two older brothers, all of whom shared the same thought on Zoids; no metal body could compare to the flesh of humans.
They believed that the world should turn away from machines and focus more on their own bodies, and thus they were martial artists, training themselves and organizing tournaments with others that felt this way, hoping to try and change the world in their own way, and unfortunately dragging the child along with them.
However, while the family could force the boy to follow their cause, they couldn’t force him to believe in it, for while he did enjoy the martial arts, he still could not find himself hating the metal beasts known as Zoids.
Whenever he could, he would sneak away to the various stores, restaurants, and other areas that featured Zoids, where he would study and watch them in their grace, loving the excitement of their battles, and it was here where he would meet Michina, a girl that would forever change his life.
The two had a normal relationship for ten year olds, playing together, hanging out as often as they were allowed, though unfortunately, it was often in secret as the girl’s parents were Zoid Pilots, a fact that if his family found out, would have cost them their friendship.
As time moved on, the pair and their relationship matured and grew, eventually leading to their dating, and the young man’s parents discovering her heritage. Though they did not attempt to separate the pair, the feeling of twisted nerves overwhelmed the boy whenever the family brought her up, knowing how much they much have hated him for it, yet he could not ignore his heart, his love for her.
Unfortunately, things did not get much better, as soon the girl was also swept up in her family’s goals, and she became a pilot, joining their team upon reaching the age of 15 with a Shield Liger named Aegis, and while the man was thrilled for her, his family distanced themselves even more from him.
As with what came with a famous girlfriend, the boy started traveling with her on occasion, visiting the Battle Commission and various cities that dotted the world, becoming friends with many people, some that were even rivals with his beloved, often joking with them and playing around.
Michina couldn’t help but want to pull the boy even deeper into her world and soon started secretly teaching him how to pilot various Zoids that her family owned, much to the boy’s mixed feelings of curiosity, wonder, and nervousness.
At turning 17, the girl’s family gifted her with a Shadow Fox as they took part in the Royal Cup Tournament of the ZBC and managed to place third in the great battle, a great event that the two families shared together in celebrating, though under much more strain than before, but soon, that would prove to be insignificant and forgotten by both sides…
Just a few months after the victory, the plague of the ZBC, the black jurors, the Backdraft Group began appearing in numerous battles and usurping command of the situation. In one particular fight, a black, red, and silver Berserk Fury destroyed the girl’s Shadow Fox, named Mirage, killing her and crippling her parents.
Upon hearing the news, the boy was nothing short of broken, falling into a deep depression for over a whole year, hiding away from all of humanity within his room and the gym, barely doing enough to live, yet it seemed at the same time, trying to kill himself through his workouts, as from one extreme to the other, sorrow and rage the only emotions hiding within his eyes.
Age 18, the time when a boy becomes a man, he chose this time to announce his plans to the two families, to take his lover’s Shield Liger, Aegis, and hunt down her killer.
To the man’s surprise, his wish was granted, not only by the girl’s parents, but by his own as well, the family seemingly understanding their child’s wish to avenge his beloved’s death.
Leaving with the Zoid, Azler Wilder moved out into the world, determined to hunt down the Zoid that had taken away Michina’s life…
