To post an advertisement, you can go any way you want, so long as it links back to the original site.
If you would like to Affiliate, though, make sure to put your site's banner in the advertisement, and make some note in the title of your advertisement. Putting (Affiliate) in the title will get it noticed faster.
For affiliating our site back, the banner can be located at the top of the main page, as part of our info center.
