In The footsteps of my father (Amaya 1v1)

The shield liger's claws pounded into the earth as it walked slowly. He had been training all morning and this place was famous to him. It was the place that inspired him the most. It was the place his father had died. The place was sacred because it was here his father fought the other pilots and died after the battle. It had been a unsanctioned fight to the death, man against men. He had taken out every single one except the black blade liger. The piolit was rumored for his cruelty.

Zero looked upwards, the sun was still very bright in the sky, and it reflected on the blue shield ligers metallic paint. The shield liger let out a roar. "relax." He muttered coldly. "I had to come here, this place holds sentimental value for me." He whispered gently to himself.

[Amaya]

The sound of footsteps was easy to hear. Amaya had come here to pay homage to the people who had died in the wars. Mostly she had come here in hopes of finding a discarded zoid or something, but after an hour of searching she had given up. Her search for scrap metal had turned into a time of reflection and memorial of those who had died in the wars. Amaya's thoughts swarmed with fragments of imagined scenes. She was trying to picture what it had been like to be locked in a battle to the death without a choice. Unlike the soldiers who had perished she could chose wither her battle was to the death or not. Suddenly she felt more appreciation for that fact.

Her thoughts of what had happened here once before were broken when she heard a zoid's roar. She spoke lightly into the speaker. "Someone out there?" The Zaber Fang ventured further in to the crater, looking for the source of the sound.

The shield ligers head turned in response.
Cero had heard someones voice, another pilot and the sound of another zoid.
He instantly turned around and began to walk toward the noise of the zoid until he came upon a zaber fang. He spoke softly, opening up communications with her so they could talk. A screen appeared and he spoke. "who are you? Usually this place is deserted." He spoke coldly. His shield liger looked deadly, and cruel, the gatlin gun on his back was the clear sign the zoid was not extremely fast. It was however, well armed.

The Zaber Fang was a interesting looking zoid to him, The zoid looked lighter weight then his own. He waited for a response from the pilot. You never know who you will meet out here, you never know what their intentions may be. Zero moved his hair out of his eyes, to show his silver eyes. His hair shadowed his forehead giving him a dark mysterious appearance.

[Amaya]

Amaya surveyed the zoid before her. She wasn't surprised to see a liger it seemed it was a favorite of new pilots. The interesting thing about it was the gatlin gun addition. When she heard the other pilot's voice she advanced further. "I'm Amaya and I just came out here looking for a scrapped zoid or something of interest. That includes a Zoid battle or a decent pilot. What about you?" Amaya asked. She ignored the coldness of his voice, it didn't really make a difference to her wither he wanted to talk or not. All she cared about was where this meeting went.

Amaya waited patiently for a response all the while she was checking out the Zoid's offensive capabilities. The zoid was heavier then hers which meant it could knock her back, but she had it out maneuvered in speed because of her lighter weight zoid or at least in reaction time.

"My name is Cero... Im a free pilot. I came here for sentimental reasons." He spoke coldly, the liger turned its head for a moment as if it were stretching. "A zoid battle? That means your a warrior as well then. I'm game for a fight if you are." He mused. He looked downwards toward his controls. He stretched his neck from side to side as his liger had done previously.
She would be faster then him, but the time it would take her to cut down his armor would be a huge advantage to him. He would defeat her with his accelerated Gatling gun, it shot fast and though innacurate avoiding a wall of bullets is never easy.

He looked toward the Zaber Fang.
"So are you a decent pilot?" he spoke calmer, with more respect for her then before.
Though he respected pilots he only respected them if they were skilled, he wondered if she would be a fun match for him. At least it would kill some time and perhaps show him someone of importance.

[Amaya]

"Believe me I'm more then decent. I have to be or I wouldn't get anywhere." Amaya answered. As her zoid lowered its head and then rose back up in a low roar of anticipation a judge capsule crashed off to the side of the area. "The immediate area is now a battle zone. The seven mile radius around this area is now off limits. Area scanned, Battlefield secure. This area is now a designated battle zone. The following ten mile radius is now off limits. Area scanned... Battlefield secure. Zero versus Amaya. Battle mode 0992. Ready... Fight!"

"I'll make the first move." Amaya said before her zoid ran to the right and then straight forward and then to the right. The point of this maneuver was to avoid the gatlin gun as well as get closer while avoiding any other ranged weapon. After closing the distance to about three zoids length she fired off a bunch of rounds from her own beam machine gun. Once they had been fired she continued forward in a zig zag pattern ready to make the battle close range if given the opportunity.

He smirked. "You got it Amaya, lets see what your made of." He mused
He instantly moved backwards but one of the shots hit his side. His armor was effected lightly by it. His zoid roared and suddenly his gattling gun began to fire at her. Its firing speed was crazy, and it fired at her sending a wall of bullets up.

As he did this he pulled the trigger on his other hand sending shots from his beam cannon to the right, making sure the only way she could go to avoid his hits were left. He would be dictating her movements. IF she got much closer he would pull out his other weapons but for now the fastest way to fight

[Amaya]

Amaya heard the sound of the gattling gun's bullets hitting the ground behind her. She wasn't fazed. She was in the zone and all she cared about was avoiding damage and taking her enemy down. She never took her eyes off her opponent. When she saw the beam cannon begin to fire she quickly released a few missiles from her arsenal. She released a total of four. The result of the collision was an explosion that saved her and hid her location. Amaya stood still for a second, just long enough to fire four rounds from her double barrel beam gun, the result eight shots aimed for the opposing zoid.

Quickly giving up her cover she shot straight forward through the smoke zig zagging until she was close enough. She waited till she was close enough and lunged at the opposing zoid one claw ready to pierce the right shoulder of the Liger and the other was aimed for the head in an upward slashing motion. The angle of the lunge would allow her access to the zoid's back. So if she wasn't knocked off she would attack the Liger's gattling gun with the massive fangs of her zoid. So as long as she could keep a grasp on the liger that gattling gun was through.

He dodged to the right taking only two of the shots to hiis energy shield which came up stopping the shots from the beam cannon. He smirked. He could take a few more shots to his shield... only if she hit from the front, but she had to get around him first and that meant going through his line of fire. "Not bad..." He mused moving his zoid forwards to meet her in the field. His gattling cannon stopped firing for a moment as his shield liger lunged forward toward the zaber.

His beam cannon aimed at the front of the Zabers torso and let out a wave of shots from his own beam cannon. The liger moved forward slowly unleashing hell toward its enemy. Shot after shot form the beam cannon, followed by a 4 shots from his Anti zoid barrel shot cannon. The liger let out a loud roar.

[Amaya]

Amaya had to take advantage of her zoid's speed. The only thing she could do to avoid certain death was to attempt to jump over. The result was taking two shots to the upper thigh of the zoid's back leg. The leg was still in working condition, but damage had been dealt. The jump allowed her a chance to attack the Gatling Gun on the Liger's back. With a quick motion the Zaber Fang struck at the Gatling Gun, its claws may not completely rip the weapon off. However it would make the Gatling Gun useless or close to.

When the zoid landed behind the Liger it kicked back, digging its back claws into the Zoid's back legs. As soon as the attack had been sent the Zaber would shoot off. If the attack made contact the Zaber Fang could easily run off, but if it had missed it would take it a bit longer to recover and put distance between the two zoids.

The claws had damaged his gatling cannon. He knew it was damaged beyond use for this fight. He would simply repair it afterward for the next battle, after this one ended. right now the fight could go either way. He instantly let his gatling cannon jet off of his back moving faster then before now. He moved forward however before she landed, and could kick his legs.

The shield liger turned on the spot, now lighter without the gatling cannon. Instantly it Sent another shot from his beam cannon directly at her front. As he did this he jumped up coming down with a strike claw toward the side of the Zaber fang, the claws would tear through the enemy, even though he was slower gravity took its effect and the shield liger fell toward the zaber fang with decent enough speed.

[Amaya]

Amaya was glad to see that her attack had succeeded. Not only had she managed to make the Gatling Gun useless during this battle, but she had managed to out maneuver her opponent. The only thing that mattered to Amaya more then winning was showing off her pride and joy, her skills. She was surprised for her kick to fail. However the moment of weakness went unexploited, this gave her an advantage. As soon as her claws hit air she slammed her back legs downward digging the nails into the dirt then turned around quickly ready to counter what ever was to come.

Amaya as a result saw the oncoming beam canon and jumped to the left, a low jump almost like a lung, to escape. When she had escaped the blast she fired round after round with her double barreled beam canon. The now airborne zoid had little to no chance of escaping the two shot rounds that had been fired. As she was firing however she had jumped back to make sure she stayed out of range of the descended zoid.

His energy shield came up directly to his front as the liger ducked his head downwards taking the shots. After wards his shield had been completely used up and disappeared "Damn..." He said coldly as he had missed his target. He released another shot from his energy beam cannon to the right, one to the left and one to the middle. At this rate the two zoids would run out of ammo and be going claw to claw. He just hoped she didn't have anything up her sleeve.

After firing the attacks he moved backwards. She would have to jump over him again to avoid the shots or take one of the shots to her body. His cannon raised upwards and the shield liger let out a roar. "You had enough yet?" He mused, as his gun came upwards aiming it toward the sky while his anti zoid shock cannon still aimed at her. He was going to ensure that this girl didnt jump over him without a nice memento.

[Amaya]

After firing the attacks he moved backwards. She would have to jump over him again to avoid the shots or take one of the shots to her body. His cannon raised upwards and the shield liger let out a roar. "You had enough yet?" He mused, as his gun came upwards aiming it toward the sky while his anti zoid shock cannon still aimed at her. He was going to ensure that this girl didnt jump over him without a nice memento.


Amaya looked at the Shield Liger and was glad to see the shield finally disappear. There was only one obstacle in her plan now and it was his long range weapons, but she had a plan for taking those out. The zaber fang seemed to pounce to the left and then the back legs dug into the ground. The zoid lowered its front and took the shot to the back minimizing the damage. It did cause her a bit of irritation as the screen warned her that she had taken damage. It was nothing major though, she could still execute her plan. Once the shot had been taken she jumped forward, but she had put a spin on the jump by angling the zoids legs. Firing the last of her missiles as she spun resulting in a display of ten missiles each aimed for a vital part of the opposing zoid. It would be hard for them to miss because of the fact that if they didn't hit their mark they would hit in one place causing a large explosion. That had been her reason for spinning.

Landing closer to the shield liger then she had wanted hadn't been in her plans. She was only a zoid's length away, but her double barreled beam gun could take care of that. She lowered the front of her zoid and sprung back firing a quick round at the Liger's anti-zoid gun.

He moved backwards avoiding all of the except 2. The missiles however hit the same area, his shield ligers leg, almost crippling it... He moved backwards slightly letting the last round that was aimed for his anti zoid gun instead hit his side. The damage was severe enough to almost cripple his zoid. "Im not going to lose." He screamed this time he fired everything he had shot after shot from his double barreled beam cannon. He was not going to let this girl defeat him easily.

Every shot moved towards the most important parts in her zaber fang, if all the shots landed it would probably defeat his enemy. After wards he moved his hand to the right control firing shot after shot from his anti zoid shock cannon. He was out of ammo now but there was no way she would be left untouched after such a barrage of weapons. He wondered how much ammo she had left... and cringed, if this didnt work it would probably mean his defeat. electricity flowed off of his zoids back leg, and he was sure his speed was now cut in half.
