[/b] cursed Max from within the cockpit of his Shield Liger. The lion type Zoid would halt its walk, its pilot sighing as the cockpit glass popped open. Max would leap out, landing into a sprint towards the remains of his old Zoid. With the body having collapsed from the explosion, the head was low enough to the ground for him to literally step into. So he would, prying the cockpit open with his bare hands.

Turquoise irises scanned the cockpit, the youth rather surprised at how intact it was. He would sit in the cockpit, reaching a hand under the console and popping out the memory drive of the Houndsoldier. With his objective accomplished, he would sigh, taking his last breath of fresh air in the cockpit of his Houndsoldier. His eyes would lower as he extended forth a hand, petting the control console of the Houndsoldier just as he had always done.

"You did good Weiss. From now on, you'll live on in the Shield Liger." muttered Max, fighting back a tear from his eye. What, don't judge him. Losing the Houndsoldier was like losing a brother, so tears were justified in such a situation. He would then leap out of the Houndsoldier's cockpit, looking over to see the head of the Rev Raptor. Max would quickly run over to the Zoid, prying open the cockpit like he did with the Houndsoldier.

This time he wouldn't sit in the cockpit, but merely glance at the memory bank slot, deciding he would retrieve it for Marcus. To his surprise, it was gone. One could assume it was a bandit who took it, but what for? This lead Max to one conclusion. Marcus had managed to beat him to the "ruins." Max smirked, running a hand through his air. That Marcus guy was something else.

"Alright then. Now I just have to find him." muttered Max to himself, sprinting over to his Shield Liger. Climbing quickly, he would make his way to the cockpit of his Zoid, hopping in and ejecting the Shield Liger's memory drive. It would only take a slight moment for Max to switch the drive with that of the Houndsoldier. The Liger's system would convert the system, taking in all the memories while making the drive compatable with it.

With his personal mission accomplished, Max would kick the Shield Liger into gear. The cockpit glass would close, Max strapping himself in and then pushing the controls forward, setting the Liger into motion. The Shield Liger would move into a sprint, Max deciding to head to Romeo City and see if he could get a lead on where Marcus went.
