The Black Knights Base

Having finished her coffee and toast, Megumi went out to her Saber Tiger. She noted that the Shield Liger was gone - which of course made sense, as Ai had left for a battle with that dark-haired new guy.
She took a few moments to ensure that nobody had been messing with her Zoid, then went to her quarters and changed before heading to the base's pool, where she would spend some time swimming laps.

Entrance Post: Returning from battle

After a long fought battle against his current leader, Ai; the two had finally returned back to the Black Knights base. However one significant member was missing, that being the Shield Liger. Within battle, the masterful Liger died protecting its owner as Ryûsuke’s Saber-lion accidentally destroyed the Core of its power. Though still concerned and somewhat ashamed of what transpired during the ZBC match, the two had agreed upon that it was indeed a accident and from the kindness within AI’s heart, she forgave Ryûsuke.

“Where back.”

Ryûsuke spoke in his usual calm tone of voice as he shut off the Saber-lion. However not before lowering it towards the ground in a crouched position; hopping out of the cock-pit, Ryûsuke stood on the ground as he reached his right arm elegantly outwards towards Ai as he attempted to help Ai off the top of the Saber-lion, making all attempts to show his gentleman demeanor.

Ai held Ryûsuke's hand and jumped off the zoid. "Thank you" she said smiling. Ai walked over to the side of her base, made a hole in the ground, and placed the zoid core of her shield liger inside. She then made a graver marker for the zoid, this way she would never ever forget her dear partner. Ai walked inside the base and wondered if Moto was awake. "Moto are you awake in there" Ai asked as she knocked on Moto's door and waited for a response. Her voice was a bit loud to make sure he heard her.

After Ai Otome accepted Ryûsuke’s gesture to help her off the Saber-lion, the dark haired pilot gave off his usual charming smile as Ai neared towards the ground, the two made a diffident contact with their eyes, was there something more then a friendship between the two thought Ryûsuke as he quickly snapped back into reality and continued to help Ai done, completely making it unaware that he was daydreaming momentarily.

While on the ground, the two would spend a good thirty minutes outside as Ryûsuke watched fro ma distance Ai working on a grave for her beloved Shield Liger’s core. Now it was evident that this zoid held a significantly purpose within Ai’s heart, this alone made Ryûsuke feel more depressed as the two entered back into the base as Ai entered into the hallway, maybe going to her room. However on the other hand, Ryûsuke stood in the main vestibule as he placed himself gently on the couch, placing his right hand on the arm rest as he placed his head into his palm. Pondering on the numerous thoughts that ran threw his mind, the fingers of Ryûsuke’s lightly tanned hand began to run threw his darken locks and soon closed his eyes as he attempted to find peace.

Hearing a knock on his door, Moto heard Ai's voice from the other side of the door and headed towards it after getting clothes on. Opening up, he saw her there and smiled at her, happy that she was back because of what he heard. "Welcome back," he said as he kissed her soft lips once he welcomed her back. "How did the match go baby? You win?" he asked hugging her after pushing the door open all the way.

Looking around, he wondered where everyone else was, because he heard some footsteps from outside his room. Outside, he didn't see the shield liger anywhere but saw a grave marker, wondering what had happened at the battle.

Ai blushed a little when she was kissed but smiled. "I lost the match and the liger was killed by accident" Ai said. She wasn't sad or angry which would surprise most people. Ai was just happy that everyone was alright and she was going to get a new zoid. "Have you been sleeping this entire time" Ai asked smirking.

[Ryûsuke]

Still pondering on his own thoughts, Ryûsuke was suddenly faulted by regressive visions of that when the Saber-lion inevitably destroyed the Zoid core of the Shied Liger. I horrific thought to say the least and before Ryûsuke could acknowledge such thoughts, the images stop recurring and soon his mind was blank, nothing to state his cause or stand on the situation at hand, simply nothing to indicate the emotions that he was once feeling, his mind was hollow, and his body was weary.

“Slowly rising from the comfortable couch, Ryûsuke would soon make his way towards the hallway in which Ai took as a alternative from the main lobby. Wanting to formally apologize for the accident, the dark haired pilot came to a abrupt halt as his lavender eyes caught glance of Ai hugging and display pubic affectation with another male and with that Ryûsuke momentarily froze in place until suddenly he gave off a small charming smile, attempting to hide the fluttered emotions in which he was feeling at the moment.

“Am I intruding on something?”

Hearing the bad news, Moto felt a sort of sad sorrow come over him before he heard cheerful news from Ai. "Have you been sleeping this entire time" she asked him as he turned around and saw her smirking, which made him smirk. "Yeah, it got boring without you here so I decided to sleep it off," he said as he saw another man come up. A new member that had just joined their team was the first thing that had crossed his mind when he saw him.

Going up to him, he held out his hand and waited for him to shake it, introducing himself like he should. "I'm Moto, co-captain of the Black Knights," he said as he held out his hand but withdrew it when he heard him say something. “Am I intruding on something?” the man said as Moto scratched his head about what he was saying. "Umm, no not really unless she says differently. Ai, he's not intruding on something is he?" he said wondering if she had a problem. Looking back at him, he held out his hand again, waiting for a response.

Hearing Moto's say it was boring without Ai around made her smiled. Ai heard a voice and turned to look at the source. It was Ryûsuke, standing in the hallway. "Oh hi Ryûsuke. No you're not interrupting anything. I was just talking to Moto" Ai said. she wondered why Ryûsuke was here in the hallway. "Hey Ryûsuke, did you find a room yet" Ai asked curiously. She wanted to make sure everybody was comfortable and felt at home in the base.

While waiting patently within the hallway, Ryûsuke tried to make sense of what his lilac eyes had just seen. Though a genius, he couldn’t or never really wanted to comprehend the matters of the mind and heart on a more personal memorandum. The two seemed every close which could indicate a elongated relationship as friends. The hug could be an indicator of something more then friends. And lastly, the words in which were spoken about for one another would give the suggestion that the two had a more romantic correlation and with that, Ryûsuke’s heart dropped, plummeting towards the everlasting abyss of resentment and distress.

“Nic..nice to meet you Moto? I’m Ikazuchi Ryûsuke.”

Exclaimed Ryûsuke as he attempted to gather his words and regroup within the seconds that were given to him between the intervals of Moto and Ai speaking. Not wanting to sound rude or give off a negative vibe, Ryûsuke gradually reached out as he gave off his usual charming grin. However this time, it would seem to be that of a façade, masking his true emotions at the moment. After a short period of shaking hands and formally greeting one another, Ryûsuke shifted his attention towards Ai and her question.

“Well yes, I found a room in the neighboring hallway.”

Seeing this new guy act in a weird way, Moto was wondering what this guy was thinking about because he seemed as stiff as a board. Finally, after some time after they were done answering his question about intruding, he was able to speak. "Nic..nice to meet you Moto? I'm Ikazuchi Ryûsuke." he said even though he didn't shake Moto's hand, but he didn't mind. Withdrawing his hand, he wondered what this guy was talking about.

Soon, he heard him answer Ai's question about finding a room, and he seemed to perk up when he did. "Well yes, I found a room in the neighboring hallway," he said in a more clearer voice in him. "Nice to meet you Ikazuchi. In the next hallway eh? Good spot, close to the exit in case of an emergency just like ours," he said pointing at him and Ai, since they had the two closest rooms. Smiling he returned to next to Ai's side, who was smiling as well at this new guy.

"That's great you found a room Ryûsuke" Ai said cheerfully. She heard Moto say something about their rooms, turned to look at him, and when Moto finished talking Ai looked at Ryûsuke. "Of course he means, our two separate rooms" she said quickly. Ai didn't want there to be any misunderstandings, especially when she had told every team member to find a room not occupied by the opposite gender. The last thing Ai ever wanted to be called was a hypocrite, especially by her own teammates. Ai was glad that everybody seemed to settling in wonderfully.

Laughing slightly at the comments made by both parties, Ryûsuke suddenly gave of a blank gaze as a thought had seemingly popped into reality. Taking a few steps forward, the dark haired genius would soon find himself a few feet away from the two acting leaders of the Black Knights as he gave off a large grin, typically in a charming manner as Ryûsuke closed his eyes and placed his right hand onto his dark hair, scratching gently.

“Hmm, I was wondering if one of you could show me to your nearest computer, there is something I need to show you guys.”

Hearing Ai's comment after his own, Moto chuckled a bit because he knew what she wanted everyone to do. "Of course he means, our two separate rooms" she said as he chuckled softly to himself about this comment. "Of course two different rooms, you said no two people of the opposite gender can occupy the same room yourself didn't you? I'm following your rules," he said laughing and holding her hand now.

Soon, he heard the new guy ask a rather peculiar question with a peculiar ending to the whole question. “Hmm, I was wondering if one of you could show me to your nearest computer, there is something I need to show you guys.” he asked them and a sudden look of confusion came over his face. "Umm, I think I have one in my room, not sure. I believe so though, if not I have alternate ways to get on," he said thinking of his video game systems he still had.

Ai was focused on Moto and Ryûsuke so she didn't notice her hand was being held by Moto. "A computer? There should be several around here and I believe there is one in each room" Ai said. She wondered what was on a computer that Ryûsuke wanted to show them. Ai thought she could also use the computer to order a new zoid after Ryûsuke showed them whatever it was he wanted to. She was very curious about what Ryûsuke wanted to show them so she quickly looked in Moto's room from the doorway and saw a computer they could use. "Yeah, I see a computer right over there" Ai said pointing to a computer. She waited for Ryûsuke or Moto to say something.
