The Black Knights Base

The Black Knights, though not the most prominent Zoids squadron within the ZBC, the youthful assemblage of up-in-coming Pilots held a strong sagacity of perseverance and resolve which would ultimately promote their status within their profession, gaining them a imperial swell in not only reputation, but self-pride. Not any teams could say that though they were currently only a undersized faction, but one day that would raise from their own ashes and sprout into a dominant force within the Zoid Community, this level of strive could only be noted and commended.

As the four members of the Black Knights enjoyed each others company within the confines of their Base, a strident, but placid thud echoed off the facade of the front door. After two knocks the resonance would came to a sudden halt as on the other side laid a dark hard male draped in that of intellectual attire, expressing Lavender eyes and a near flawless complexion. Awaiting an answer from within the Base, the young male stood patiently as he enjoyed the gentle breeze which swept across his lightly tanned face.

Ai heard knocking on the door of the base and went to see who it was. A man draped in that of intellectual attire was standing at the door of the base. "Hello there. How can I help you on this fine day today" Ai asked politely. She was curious about who this man was and why he was here. Ai patiently waited for a response from the man.

The air was mildly temperate, only expressing a recurrent but plummeting chilliness as the sun expressed its dominant warmth from behind the sanctuary of the billowing, looming clouds that so gracefully roamed threw the air as if that was there only meaning. The sound of petite chirps engrossed the skies as a flock of bypassing birds moved across the sky, engendering a small silhouette which shaded the eyes of the mysterious male momentarily until the twisting of the door knob indicated someone was at the door.

Somewhat baffled by the splendor of the women who opened her door, the male soon placed his hand on the top of his darken hair, running his fingers threw to dark brown locks as he gave off a fascinating smile and soon began to speak.

“Hello, I’m Ikazuchi Ryûsuke, and is this the base of the Black Knights?”

Questioned Ryûsuke as he soon lowered his hand down towards his side, the red leather jacket swiveling in the wind as it brushed against his body.

“If so, I was wondering could I join your team?”

As Ryûsuke spoke in a gentle, charming tone of voice, one could see in the background a standard Saber-lion which could possibly indicate that Ryûsuke was its owner. However one would only know by asking.

"Hello Ikazuchi Ryûsuke. My name is Ai Otome but please just call me Ai. Yes this is the base of the Black Knight, I'm the captain and founder of the team" Ai said smiling. She was glad her team was expanding so quickly that other people heard of it. Ai heard what Ryûsuke said next and kept smiling. "Of course you can join the team" Ai said sweetly.

Ai saw the Saberlion in the background and admired it a bit. "Nice zoid you've got there" Ai said. Around the base you could see her shield liger next to the base, Moto's liger zero in a garage, Tai's command wolf in a garage, and Megumi's zaber fang outside the base. "In case you were wondering, the shield liger is mine" Ai said pointing a thumb at the shield liger. Two questions floated around Ai's mind so she decided to ask. "If you don't mind me asking, how did you hear of this team and why do you want to join" Ai asked politely.

Smiling as Ai place her sites on the Saber-lion which lied peacefully in the surroundings, Ryûsuke continue to fashion his charismatic grin as he took one step closer towards Ai, gaining a better discernment of true magnificence. After waiting for a mere few moments, Ryûsuke’s suspensions were finally confirmed as he had indeed found the base location of the Dark Knights and he was now facing the not only the acting leader, but the founder of the organization, truly a beauty who embodied that of a independent women who strived for her own goal.

“Nice to meet you, Lady Ai-chan.”

Exclaimed Ryûsuke in a pleasant tone of voice, expressing the gentle which resided in his being; once greeted by Ai, Ryûsuke was approached and seemingly asked two simple questions, neither impulsive or rude; how did he find out about the Black Knights, and why did he want to join. Both of these questions had two simple answers and Ryûsuke wouldn’t purposely stretch his answer to confuse anyone, giving them at face value.

“Well, I found out about this group from a friend of mine.”

Ryûsuke Exclaimed gently as he continued on to answer the second question which was given to him by Ai in the most humble manner.

“And I would like to join simply because I think I could be a assist, or was your team not accepting new members?”

Ai heard Ryûsuke call her 'lady Ai-chan' and blushed a little bit. Not even Moto, who was Ai's boyfriend, called her lady or Ai-chan. Ai smiled at the answer to the first question, it seems like the Black Knights were getting some recognition. The second answer made Ai feel a little guilty. "Of course we're accepting new members, I was just curious that's all. Sorry if I caused a confusion" Ai said. She didn't want to drive away a new member. "We have tons of rooms so please pick any room you want as long as it isn't occupied by a member of the opposite gender" Ai said half-jokingly. She wanted each and every team member to feel right at home but didn't want any trouble.

“Oh no, you didn’t cause confusion, Lady-Ai.”

Exclaimed Ryûsuke as he stood in place. From the response and bodily posture given off by Ai, it was quite evident that Ryûsuke’s statement may have infected her own statement and could possibly cause trouble, if not make her feel somewhat bad. However Ryûsuke couldn’t, over even wouldn’t allow himself to do either to a group of people whom he hadn’t even gotten to properly grow accustom too, and especially not to Ai who had shown nothing but gratitude since their brief meeting. While listening to Ai’s next statement, Ryûsuke chuckled slightly as he couldn’t help but laugh at Ai’s humorous comment: nice, cute, and funny, a winning conjuration.

“May I come in?”

Question Ryûsuke as he wanted to make certain that he was indeed allowed into the Black Knights, but also into their home base; intrusion wasn’t a assist that engrossed the dark haired Pilot, and personally he didn’t mind leaving a place were he wasn’t wanted. While awaiting a answer from Ai, Ryûsuke soon pulled from behind his back a small rose as he placed it in front of his position, attempting to past this gesticulate of kindness to Ai, and hopefully she would accept.

“I was somewhat hoping that the leader or someone of importance was a women so I could truly express my appreciation, so may you accept my gesture, Ai?”

Hearing Ryûsuke's question ai smiled bit. "Of course you can come in. You're an official member of the Black Knights" Ai said happily. Ryûsuke held out a rose for Ai and she was a little surprised but happy nonetheless. "Of course I'll accept" Ai said gently picking up the flower. Ai needed to place the rose in water quickly. "Please find a room while I go put this rose in some water" Ai said moving a bit to make some room for Ryûsuke to enter the building. Ai wondered how Moto would react to Ai getting such nice treatment from another guy.

"Thank you Ai-Chan."

Once Ai had taken the red rose from Ryûsuke, the lovely leader had accepted the dark haired pilots offer to join the team, and thus it was now time to pick out his own room. Waiting until Ai was in a comfortable position and safely out of his way, Ryûsuke would soon step into the domain of the Black Knights as he soon stood in place, taking a acceptable amount of time to stuffy his surroundings, scanning over trade mark locations within his site of view: the Kitchen, a number of corridors, two persons in the kitchen area as they seemingly begun their morning meals.

Ai placed the rose in a vase and walked towards her room and smiled. The rose really brightened up the room and made Ai happy. A few things were on Ai's mind about the team. She put the thoughts away and decided to enjoy her day without worrying about anything. Ai walked back to the kitchen and sat down in a chair. It was a nice day and Ai decided to enjoy it to the fullest. She was a tad bored since there was absolutely nothing she needed to do and there was nothing team related that need her attention Ai could just relax and she was going to do just that.

Roaming threw the sized hallway within the Black Knight’s Central base, attempting to find a empty room for his personal use as a teammate cabinet. A rather large black sym bag was strapped across the shoulders of Ryûsuke as he was seemingly had to lung around the access wait. Though somewhat heavy, Ryûsuke knew that he held enough vigor to effortlessly carry the hefty bag.

Knock… knock..

After finding what seemed to be a door, Ryûsuke preformed a series o gentle knocks to see if anyone was either inside, or if anyone had occupied the room. After a few knocks, the dark haired charm would soon open the door, his lavender eyes catching site of a vacant room, and thus Ryûsuke would enter. Now standing in the room, Ryûsuke took a few moments to break into the vacant space as he soon noticed a bed in the far corner and soon began to walk in its direction. Once near the bed, Ryûsuke would gently lift the bad from over his shoulders as he soon placed it onto the soft cottoned bed, and sat on its confines.

After 10 minutes of complete silence, a shadow manifested from the hallway in which Ryûsuke had taken to his room and soon the dark haired pilot made his way back into the kitchen, now gazing upon Ai and two others sitting peacefully while enjoying their breakfast and their early day. Taking a few more steps forward, Ryûsuke found himself by the window which resided near the front door and soon placed his right hand on the ledge which rested underneath it.

“Would anyone mind having an exhibition battle with me?”

Questioned Ryûsuke as he continued to gaze out of the window, the sun’s rays continuously reflecting off its transparent surface; though his visual attention wasn’t directly facing the three within the room, the tone of voice and obvious body posture would make it known that he was directing his question towards the two in the room. To get a better understanding of how his new teammates constructed themselves in the field of battle, as well as in the mist of team training, Ryûsuke would hopefully conduct an official battle with one of his members.

Hearing Ryûsuke's question Ai smiled a bit and looked over at him. "I can battle you. This'll give me a chance to see how good you are" Ai said smiling. She thought about the battle, her shield liger against Ryûsuke's saberlion, that would be a good fight. Ai did have a slight advantage zoid-wise and rank-wise but that was ok. "Name the place, time and battle mode and I'll be there" Ai said happily. She loved going into zoid battles, it gave her such a rush and she formed a closer bond with her zoid every time she fought. Ai patiently waited to hear Ryûsuke's response.

“The battle mode will be 0992.”

“The area, will be the near-by forest just a few miles away, a ZBC Capsule will be waiting for us.”

“And the battle will take place within the hour.”

After stating the numerous stipulations of the upcoming Zoid’s battle, Ryûsuke shifted his attention towards Ai, recognizing her courage and beauty as he gave of a charming glare, his purple eyes fixed on her position, and the sun’s light bypassing threw the glass, and reflecting off his eyes, giving off a characteristic of bright purple.

“Ai-chan, I’ll guess I’ll see you there.”

Exclaimed Ryûsuke as he soon exited the Black Knights Base and made his way towards the Saber-lion and within moments of leaving the base, a loud roar occurred as Ryûsuke activated his Zoid and soon made his way towards the designated battle location, there he would wait for Ai and hopefully gain a better understanding of his leader, maybe even generate a bond between the two.

Ai walked outside and hopped into her shield liger. She turned it on and pressed the buttons to make it move. Ai memorized what Ryûsuke said. battle mode 0992, the nearby forest, takes place within the hour. Ai left the base with her shield liger and headed for the forest. She wanted to know what Ryûsuke was capable of in battle. "Well Blue, looks like we got another fight" Ai said to her liger as she left.

Being in the hot tub was really relaxing for him, but Moto felt something missing and wondered what everyone was doing in the kitchen. It had been quite some time since Ai made the others breakfast, so shouldn't they be done by now? Tossing it aside, he went to his room to rest a bit. As he lay down, he heard two people leave the base. Shoving it aside, he began to drift off to sleep where he awaited Ai's return, wherever she was.
