Jay kept his hands tightly on the controls making sure not to drop his guard. He was angered his plan did not work but he knew better than to get aggrevated and lose focus. He did not know what his opponent was going to do,but he knew standing still would accomplish nothing in this case. He began to copy the ligers moving patterns.

As the Blaze attempted to mimic the Liger’s strategy, following a little to the right and behind of the bigger Zoid, Azler couldn’t help but chuckle. The Leo was slower than the beast, yet Wilder admitted he was intrigued to the pilot’s thought patterns, and while he normally would have waited it out to see the tactic, he knew he couldn’t pass up this opportunity.
Roaring loudly, Aegis pushed off the ground with its front paws and outstretched its claws, flying backwards towards its foe with great speed thanks to its transferred momentum, and also having an incredibly high chance of catching its pray off guard, as well as also using its foe’s own momentum to prevent it from being able to stop or dodge properly, if at all. After all, if the Blaze tried to jump, the back claws of the beast would impact its face once again, but if it didn’t, the four claws of the Liger would shred its body as the Blaze past under it.

"Detecting inactivity from the pilot of the Leoblaze! Winner: Azler!" yelled the judge, announcing the victory of the Shield Liger pilot. It would retract into its shell, for with the battle over so was its job. The Shield Liger was now allowed to exit the arena, the audience clapping in the background with some booing because of the way that the fight had ended.
