(OoC: ok, if this mission doesn't get finished properly soon, I'm going to finish it.)
The Pilot of the fire fox began to panic, it seemed that he would be finished off by these two pilots. Indeed, it was his own panic that caused his defeat. He tried to escape, but his zoid crashed to the ground because it's back leg couldn't hold any weight. Taking advantage of the situation, Rui ran to it's side and fired a series of shots into the wound that the Glow Fox had made earlier.
The shots destroyed the power supply, completely defeating the zoid. Deciding to leave the pilot alive, Rui then turned the Helcat around and ran around the corridor, heading straight for where the reason Backdraft returned would be, and when she slowed down and peered down into the room, she saw...

(OoC:well, since I'm the only one left on this mission, I'll use it to my own ends.)
...a black mineral was protruding from the south wall. Rui jumped out of the cockpit and took a pair of binoculars from the Helcar to see what was happening. Pieces of the mineral had been broken off, and seemed to have been refined. And from the looks of things, it had also been used in the construction of the zoid somehow.
A young woman, apparently the leader, stepped into the middle of the floor and talked to one of the engineers before bellowing out to the rest "The ZBC are getting too close to us for comfort. The Descat is finished, so we're pulling out." It was at this point that Rui thought that the woman glanced in her direction, "Everyone, get in your zoids and leave. " Everyone packed up and left to Rui's right, apparently where the exit was. Within moments, Rui was all alone in this underground base.
She ran down the ramp, leaving the Helcat parked up top. The only soul left in the base made a beeline for the mineral. "And where do you think you're going kid?" It was the woman who had been in command of the people here. Rui spun around and reached for the gun hidden in the small of her back, but stopped with her hand frozen on the handle when she saw the other woman had a gun pointed right at our protagonist.
"It's ok kid, I'm not going to hurt you," the woman said as Rui slowly took her hand off the gun, more from the gun pointed at her than from the woman's words. "You must be wondering my name by now, you can call me Amaterasu." The woman, this Amaterasu, said, walking around to Rui's side, taking Rui's gun from the holster and examining it. "Why, this is quite a relic, from the Heliac-Guylos Wars if I'm, not mistaken."
She returned the gun to it's owner and continued speaking. "Now my dear, I've told you my name; would you be so kind as to tell me yours?" She spoke with an almost practiced ease. Rui, on the other hand, wasn't nearly so calm and composed. "I-I'm Rui, Rui Zeal. It's a pleasure to meet you Miss Amateratsu." She said doing a Japanese style bow, her hands clasped in front of her.
"There's no need for the formalities, Rui." Zeal?!, wasn't that one of the offshoots of the ...no, could she be? "Here," Ammy said, handing some sort of card to Rui, "I've got to go now, but use this if you want to know more about us, about, well, you promise to keep this a secret?" Rui nodded. "about Neo-Guylos." Amaterasu said in a hushed voice, turning to leave.
"Wait," Rui called out, "What is this stuff?" she said, indicating the black mineral. "Why that?" the woman paused. "That is Deoricalcum, your birthright. Don't worry, between the card I gave you, and the box, all your questions will be answered in due time." And with that, the woman got back in her zoid and left.
After a few minuets, Rui called the ZBC and told them about the second entrance, and about the Deoricalcum. There was still almost a quarter pound left. That would be enough for any decent lab to analyze. And enough to get her the bonus. But Rui wasn't concerned with that at all when she left in the Helcat to go collect her pay. Birthright, what was she talking about, and what about the box? Could she have been talking about the box under the Helcat's seat? How could she have known. Does my families key have anything to do with it? Does it go with the Box? All of Rui's questions would be answered soon, though the questions still remained: Would she like her answers, and what would she do with them?
