FIGHTING WITHOUT A TEAM
This is something everybody will have to do. Since you cannot start a team until you reach C rank, you'll be on your own until then. You cannot earn any Team Points either. There are two options to follow:
1.) Fight one on one battles. This does not require a team to do.
2.) Join an existing team. The prize money will be greater since you are fighting at a higher rank.
Even members with their own team will spend most battles fighting on other teams, in order to help boost rank more.
TEAM FORMATION
Once a user has reached the C Rank, they can found their own team. Every member should do this as soon as they can, even if they don't have any teammates. Teams do not have to be set in stone, you could have different members on your side each battle. Also, you don't always have to fight for your team, it's no problem to join another for a battle or two.
First, you post a team application by following the template on the according page. After it has been accepted, you have your team. You start out with an empty plot of land in the "Bases" board, where you have your official team headquarters. In addition, you have 200 "team points" to start off with, and the opportunity to earn more.
"Team Points" are an additional gain earned from organized battles, in addition to posts. After each match, in addition to giving out the posts, the Moderator closing the battle will have to post on your team page, adding the relevant number of team points to the sum total. They can be spent in the site's shop, and can be used to purchase additional pilots, zoids, buildings, etc.
NOTE: If you own a team, and fight an one-on-one battle, you still get the Team Points.
TEAM THREAD RULES
- Your Team Thread itself must be easily reachable. Please have a link to the Team Thread at the top of your character's bio.
- Your Base thread itself must also be reachable from the top of your Team Thread page, via link.
- You are only allowed to post once, the 1st post in your Team Thread page. If you need to change information, modify the first post. All other posts after are reserved for staff. If you want to RP, use your Base thread.
- All Base threads will be in the proper board, and there will be a limit of one per team. Just continue it forever, as a long thread, so everything is kept organized.
- Once you post your team thread, the moderator who approves it will put 200 TP at the bottom of his post, starting the tally. Each time you spend or earn TP, the moderator handling the transaction will go to your Team Thread and post beneath the most recent number, adding the new tally. This is why your thread has to be easily accessable.
