The Berserk Fuhrer dominated the desert wasteland. Its prescience wasn't made any less intimidating by the fact its left buster claw was completely missing. It gave it an appearance of many battles fought and few lost. The Berserk Fuhrer opened its jaws and roared loudly as if it commanded the land. It was a boastful zoid and it screamed power that was why Amaya loved it so much. The zoid stepped forward its feet leaving large impressions in the cracked desert floor.
Amaya had yet to repair the zoid. She knew it would be a while till she could, but even so it was still a formidable zoid. The Beserk Fuhrer's feet would usually be off the ground, but its thrusters had been disabled in the battle that had resulted in its capture.

( Here's your sprite! ) At the far end of the waistland, a cloud of dust was slowly rising up. At the stem of that cloud was a large blue cargo-type zoid, a HoverCargo, barreling over the dust and gravel towards the designated battlefield. It bumped over rocks and debris without flinching, a few dings being applied to the edges of the cargo's base. They went unseen amongst the hundreds of other dings and scratches. It pulled slowly to a stop at the edge of the battlefield, the dust cloud behind it catching up and overtaking it in a second, obscuring it from view. Moving from the HoverCargo controls, Pat exited into the hangar, where his wolf was ready to launch. He climbed up into the cockpit, strapping himself in as the launch mechanisms fired up. The wolf was lifted, as the top latch opened up. The dust cleared as the catapult charged, the white wolf launching through the last few particles and landing inside the edge of the battlefield. Pat opened up a broad comm link, on all channels, trying to contact his opponent audio-only. "So, you shall be my opponent? Let's have a good battle, whomever you are."( This is training for you, no? You will NPC the judge as well as yourself then, being a Game Master. I will give OOC pointers if I see anything I want to comment on. )

The judge capsule landed shortly after the arrival of the HoverCargo. As the dust settled the judge was revealed. It wasn't the normal white judge, it was a black judge. This was a backdraft match. "The following ten mile radius is now off limits. Its time for a real battle. Backdraft vs. the newcomer. Battle Rules...none...wait wait no...0999. Get ready...Fight...Backdaft win!" The Judge said followed by a brief mocking laugh directed at the wolf zoid.
Amaya turned to face her opponent and smiled. "So you are the one I'll be testing my Berserk Fuhrer on. I can't wait to rip you limb from limb." Amaya said before the zoid began to move. It didn't move quickly because she had no intentions of rushing this match. The Berserk Fuhrer's weapon was chosen when it fired off a few shots from its 185mm Beam Cannon aiming at the wolf, but it didn't intend to hit at all. The real reason was to distract the opposing zoid while it got closer. The Berserk Fuhrer took off at a run its buster claw spinning out of anticipation for a close combat brawl.
When the distance was about a zoids length the Berserk Fuhrer roared threateningly. Its claws began to glow as a warning. She wasn't going to attack yet, she was toying with her opponent right now.

~ Good so far! You have great post detail and length, though you may find yourself posting less when you actually NPC. NPC posts dont' have character thought/development or anything personal, so it's okay if they're shorter than normal RP posting. The only note I would make is that you should keep each post in a specific time spot, and not make any assumptions about the enemy zoid's movement. You only made a minor one, about assuming your zoid could get up to one zoid's-length away, while they start at opposite edges of the battlefield. Even if the Furher could outrun the wolf (which I honestly don't know, have to look that up), there'd still be a long enough period there for the wolf to either run, fire, or launch some other movement. Your best bet would have been to fire off the laser and start charging, then leave the post at that. It's a small detail, but important You've got the Dark Judge down pat though XD ~ Dog grunted, cluctching his controls tightly and smirking. Backdraft, eh? What a pain. "So much for a good battle. This is going to be a real nuisance." he called out, before turning down his radio. The zoid started running, before breaking out into a fast trot. He was definitely faster than what seemed to be a damaged Berserk Fury, so he wanted to get as hell the far away he could from those nasty blades on its arms. He boosted for half a second, draining a tenth of his booster power just to get started quicker and reach top speed. He ran sideways, circling arond the Berserk Fury. That made the distance between them slowly close, but also caused those fired shots to go wide and miss. He looked around the map around him, barren wasteland. No cover for him to use. He peeled away from his path and started charging in an arc away from the zoid, trying to keep the distance between them from closing now. This faced him away from the fury, but towards the Dark Judge. "No rules, eh? I can capitalize on that." he smirked. He was running away, and so couldn't fire on his opponent, but he was facing close enough for his gun to point at the judge. He fired off three rounds from the powerful cannon, after doing a quick sighting with his helmet's targeting visor. Once the judge was out of his sights, he put the boosters on full power again. He ran full sprint away from the Furher, trying to get beyond the range of even his gun.

(understood and thanks. I was a fan of the Dark Judges so I memorized their usual persona pretty well) ~
Amaya chuckled at Dog's comment. "This will be over quickly. I'll make sure your zoid doesn't suffer...much that is." Amaya said before she began to block out any sound that might come from the radio. She was entering deeper and deeper into a predatory state that matched perfectly with the zoid she was piloting. Amaya watched the fleeing. She didn't care much for how much distance was put between the two, it didn't matter. Amaya had plans for a counter and for how to get close to her opponent.
When the Command Wolf was out of firing range the Berserk Fury lurched forward its feet crashing against the ground as it entered a run. It would have been faster then the command wolf if it had operational thrusters, but since they no longer worked it was running all the way. The Berserk Fury ran forward its buster claw spinning and then opening in preparation for firing a quick blast from its cannon. As the distance became less she would try to fire a blast from the zoids cannon, but by the time it was fired the Command Wolf was out of range.
The Dark Judge glared at the command wolf and shouted. "Coward! Running away from battle are we? You call yourself a zoids pilot. When this battle is over you will---" The Dark Judge yelled, but its final yell was replaced by a scream of outrage as it was fired upon. The Dark Judge was still able to move and was operational, but it was shaken up and far from happy. "Destroy that zoid Amaya!" The Dark Judge cheered.
The Berserk Fury came to a stop. She was tired of chasing her prey, she knew it had to come to her soon. Even if the zoid staid just far away to keep out of her range and keep her in its range she would have an advantage, thicker armor.

Pat skidded to a halt, all four zoid legs digging into the ground. Behind him, he could see the Furher come to a halt and wait. He turned after a bit, moving his zoid around to face the dino zoid. The wolf's cannon gleamed in the light, large above the white body. "So, not chasing after me anymore?" he asked, though his radio was off. The wolf trotted forwards slowly, just barely entering his firing range. He moved the controls down, putting his zoid into a forward crouch and stabalizing it.
"Dog... pick her off before she gets close." The targeting system locked on, and a small eyepiece dropped down from the cockpit over Pat's eye. He moved the crosshairs over the Furher, the computer's systems locking on a second after. He was just barely in firing range, being long-ranged that he was, so the Furher would not be able to return fire for a while. His zoid kept perfectly still and stable, as he fired off the first shot.
He kept his nerves on end for the next few seconds, firing off one shot after another, one every two seconds. At that moderate rate, the cannon would not start to overheat yet. He focused entirely on the Furher, trying to blast it away before it could get into range. If it ran straight at him, then it would make a very easy target to hit. If it went to the side or at an angle, it would take longer to reach him, and thus give him more time to fire at it. After six seconds of this, he fired a rapid burst of three shots, hoping the opponent would have noticed his rhythm earlier and be caught off guard. As a result, though, his gun started to heat up, and he had to pause for three seconds before continuing to fire.

Amaya chuckled at the long range attacks that were now heading in her direction. The Berserk Fuhrer had excellent defense and could take a few hits. The Breaker Claw began to spin and intercepted the first few shots. "I'm tired of this." Amaya said before the Berserk Fuhrer side stepped an oncoming attack and then ran forward the Buster Claw still spinning to deflect any possible firing or at least try to.
The Berserk Fuhrer began to run at an arch so that it would be running closer to him, but off to the side and then a few seconds later running in front of him. She would repeat this process until the Wolf was in range of the Berserk Fuhrer's weaponry. The result was she avoided most of the shots, but a few hit her zoids side. It shook her around a bit, but didn't do much else.
If she was able to get the Command Wolf in range the buster claw would stop spinning and begin to fire shot after shot from its cannon until six shots had been fired. Once that happened the Buster Claw would begin to spin to act as a defense mechanism.

All I have to say is that it's not entirely clear to me what exatly the Furher is doing to dodge all those attack. Running at an arch, then in front of him? It may just be me, but I'll figure out something. Also, the Buster Claw does not have the shield capabilities. It won't deflect shots, it'll just absorb them. So it's going to take damage if you keep using it to block shots.
~
Pat grunted, shifting his zoid back up as the Furher came closer. Accuracy wasn't working, since he seemed to be able to predict the shots and dodge most of them as they came. He started firing faster, but less accurately, his zoid on its feet and higher off the ground. While the shots arched downwards a bit, he was all ready and agile for when the Furher got closer to him.
The six shots that came next happened right when he got within the enemy's range, so he knew they were coming. He turned his zoid to the side, boosters powering up. The first two shots hit dead-on the flank of his zoid, as he turned, but the boost that occured after sent him running off faster and dodging the next four. He kept his zoid in a straight line, knowing the furher was off to the side and would have a hard time hitting if he fired immediately again.
Heading back towards the battlefield, he decided to try another tactic. The only cover around was the Judge Capsule, sitting right where he had seen it earlier. The zoid turned and skidded to a halt on the far side of the judge, putting it in between him and the Furher. Being the closer one to the judge, he could hop out, fire at the enemy zoid, then go behind the robot shield again before fire was returned towards him.

Amaya watched the Command Wolf with bored interest. She wasn't sure what to make of the enemy zoids tactics. She only hoped that she would be able to counter it accurately. When she saw the command wolf go behind the judge capsule she moved forward.
The Berserk Fuhrer moved slowly forward waiting to see what would happen. She was caught off guard by the command wolf's sudden attack. The shots hit the Fuhrer's stomach causing some damage. The zoid growled loudly in pain and ran forward its buster claw spinning ready to fire two shots, each aimed at a side of the judge capsule.
