The Blazing Pilot Gains An Ally!

Jay was standing next to his Leo Blaze with another woman. She looked around the age of 17. She was very pretty. He had just finished giving her a kiss and she began to walk away. He was smiling as he climbed inside his zoid and it let out a roar."Sorry we didn't get much training done yesterday...I mean...She was awesome." He said with a slight chuckle. He figured he would relax a little before he left.

This was the only resonance prominent over the tranquil, hushed wind. However this sound was amplified drastically, a fair distance away from the flirtatious male and his tolerable Zoid model was a rather large outline, moving across the meadow frenzied plains with not only near the imperceptible alacrity, but the reverberation of its colossal supports bashing against the ground with every movement. This sound would have only been generated by a structure, hefty enough to place enough credence and pressure against the ground, and those were the two key factors which could describe the progressing Saber-lion approaching the still standing Pilot and his stationed Zoid.

Piloting this impressive animal familiar was a young prodigy who commonly went by his forename, Ikazuchi Ryûsuke. The dark haired talent had currently be scouting the area for what could be considered as a decent spar between Zoids, his goals were to impress enough locals and officials so that he could be better recognized and gain access into a faction. However this goal was only accomplishable by striving and constantly proving to others that you are serious about what needs to be accomplished to achieve such a goal.

Moving in closer onto the stationed zoid ahead, the purple eyes of Ryûsuke locked onto the sensory screen within his cockpit as his radars targeted a large structure just up ahead, a Zoid. Increasing the velocity and speed of his forth moving Zoid, Ryûsuke would make his way towards the open field and within moments a large mound of dusk compiled within the area as the Saber-lion maundered into a swift halt only a few yards away from the opposing Leo-Blazer. Opening his Cock-pit, Ryûsuke would station himself within his seat as he awaited a reaction from the Leo-Blazer, surely a entrance in which one he had just manifested would cause some type of cautious interest within the other pilot.

Jay watched as he felt the thumps of a zoid. His mood quickly changed,which irritated him. He was getting ready to enjoy the peace but now this tranquil sense he was about to establish would quickly fluctuate. His cockpit closed and he got ready for a fight as the figure came closer into proximity. He saw it was a saber lion and he chuckled to himself slowly. He established a comm link and simply said "Who the hell do you think you are!?"

He continued with an angry tone "I was enjoying this calm peace,until you came charging in on your zoid,state your name and your reason to be here, or face your zoid destroyed."

The grime who once resided in the atmosphere had now finally calmed as the clear transparency had returned, giving Ryûsuke not only a faultless perception of the antagonist’s Zoid sculpt, but a unambiguous viewpoint of its structure. Noticing mortar like features and other destructive weapons, Ryûsuke could immediately tell that either this zoid was customized to the tee, or was purchased at a reasonably high price; either way quite impressive. However the question was, could the persona handle such a mechanism, as opposed to the youthful genius’s proficient use with the Saber-Lion.

Sitting peacefully within the hanger of his Zoid, the bright light of his connection monitor brightened the entire cock-pit, and with the light came a distributing annoyance as Ryûsuke shifted his attention towards the screen, noticing the babbling of the Leo-Blazer’s pilot. This should have been predictable, the appearance of his foe not only merged perfectly with his attitude, but he seemed like the bold, irritating type. Now this was only coupled by the broad use of profane words which engrossed the monitor as Ryûsuke gazed onto the screen with his purple eyes, chuckling slightly.

“Your tone of voice is most unpleasing; please speak to me with respect if you want me to even consider doing the same for you.”

Exclaimed in mild, serious tone of voice as Ryûsuke comforted himself back into the cottoned chair as he slid his right arm downwards, pressing a bottom as the chamber glass closed, and his cockpit locked secure in place; his manner wasn’t to be mistaken with arrogance or confidence, but rather common respect as for one to earn it, they have to give it.

A slight smirk came across Jay's face as the man replied to his comments. "I don't believe that is the proper way to gain respect." Jay said with a slight smile. "If you want my respect,kid,you gotta earn it." Jay did not believe in giving someone respect unless they deserved it,and currently,this boy did not,disturbing his peace like that.

"In your case,to gain my respect..You gotta face me in a zoids battle."

Now confined inside the chamber of his Saber-Lion, Ryûsuke continued to gawk towards his correlation monitor as his mauve eyes locked onto the interdict movements of his recently established antagonist. It was reasonably odd for a person to act so irrationally and superciliously upon a first meeting, I guess the statement “always make a good first impression” didn’t apply to this man who so blatantly articulated their feelings towards Ryûsuke as if he needed to prove something, or as if he was inferior to him.

“So, to earn your respect I have to battle you in a Zoid battle sounds fair enough.”

Ryûsuke spoke in a tranquil tone of voice as he continued to stare at the monitor until suddenly the screen when pitch black as Ryûsuke shifted the mode from visual to audio. It was now time to demonstrate sound, stern zoid technical skill; unfortunately it would be against someone who had no clue of Ryûsuke’s style of combat. What a pity, if this guy had even the slightest indication of what would soon be his downfall, maybe this fight would last longer then the tactical genius had planned. However his plans could back fire and maybe he would lose.

On the exterior, Jay would most likely notice that the side movement of Saber-Lion as he shifted to the left, slowly orbiting the still standing Leo-Blazer. However as he moved, his distance would slowly increase as he executed a backward moving motion in conjuration with his side step. Now a fair distance away from his foe, Ryûsuke would wait to see what his opponent would do in response to his unorthodox actions.

“Oh by the way, my name is Ryûsuke. What is yours?”

"My name is Jay." He said Non-chalantly. He watched the guy in his very weird movements. He figured either the opponent was trying to sike him out..or he was smoking that good stuff. He decided on the earlier thought. He placed his hands on the controls and watched the movements. He began zig zagging as he went to charge at his opponent. He also began taking shots using the cannons on his shoulder,testing his opponent to see his reflexes,and putting his plan into motion.

“Radar Ear, Rear security sensors, dual sensor eye, all online.”

Exclaimed Ryûsuke within his cock pit; the only sound hearable within the chamber was that of switch flicking and button pressing as Ryûsuke had seemingly activated his defensive system while he moved in his left shifting motion. While rear moving his Saber-Lion further and further away from Jay and his Leo-Blade, Ryûsuke would disconnect himself from the audio transmission between himself and Jay. At the moment conversation between the two would be irrational, and is considered irrelevant to the battle at hand.

Still a fair distance away from Leo-Blade, Ryûsuke swiftly shifted between the dual monitors within the cockpit as he noticed the activation of his defense system was fully active which was evident threw the instant lock-on to Jays patterned movement. Quickly pressing a button in front of his position, a digital monitor appeared as Ryûsuke could now vertically see as Saber-Lion did, noticing that Leo-Blade had entered a novice, but efficient zigzag pattern as he lessen the distance between the two, closing in on Ryûsuke with every step taken.

As Leo-Blade continued to move towards Ryûsuke without stopping his pattern, Ryûsuke noticed that he would activate his strapped cannons which resided on his back as a thin, but powerful straight beam moved towards Ryûsuke at dawning speeds.

“Hmmm, still novice.”

Ryûsuke thought to himself as he gripped the handle of his zoid controls securely and within a fraction of a second, the diminutive and agile Saber-lion which jumped to the side in a low proposition as it continued to move backwards will doing so, still creating remoteness between the two. The method in which Ryûsuke used for equivocation was simple, with any large object, or even small, staying close to the ground allowed quicker rejoinder time for evasion as opposed to high evasion tactics such as towering jumping and aerial dynamics; used in conjuration with Saber-lion’s superior defensive organism, avoidance was all but inevitable as Ryûsuke continued to use this same approach to continuously elude the constant use of Jay’s Cannons.

“Now it’s my turn to take the offensive.”

As Saber-lion continued to evade the cannons firing shots, Ryûsuke had seemingly caught on to a pricy flaw within the approach that Jay had taken. When still in his zigzag motion and using a straight fire cannon, Jay was ultimately throwing off the trajectory of his own attack, if only slightly. However this would be one flaw that Ryûsuke exploit. After another convectively shot from Jay’s field gun, Saber-lion instantly ended his back stepping evasion as it quickly darted towards Jay’s Leo-Blade, as doing so Saber-lion as commanded by Ryûsuke moved in a meander manner, mimicking Jays motion, however more effectual to the purpose of his attack,

While moving towards Leo-Blade, the blades which resided on the top of Saber-lions head and sides of his neck extended outwards as they begun to glow a brilliant white light and within seconds, the steel was completely engulfed in the rays of the charging power. Once within a acceptable range, Ryûsuke would sling his handle controls forward as Saber-Lion attempted to run the left blade on his neck into the upper chest region of the Leo-Blade.

Jay watched with a slight smirk on his face as his opponent dodged the shots he fired towards his enemy. He figured that this person was a very skilled zoids pilot. Jay then watched as his opponent began copying his movements and then activated the blades on the lion,attacking him head on. He figured his opponent did not think clearly as he targetted the main blade and began to shoot from his cannons,he attempted to blast the blade right off,ceasing the main attack,and deeply handicapping his opponent.

OOC: Since you didn't halt your progression towards Saberlion as I moved closer towards you, you would inevitably crash into the blades, if not be in such close range that evading my attack would force you to move, knocking your cannon’s fire off target once more. This is only justified by the fact that you continued in a meander arrangement since you didn’t indicate your decline or impede directly or with context clues, and ending a pattern such as the one your using would only be accomplished in two fashions: continuing straight forward which would end the crisscross but leave you in undeviating range of my attack, or stray to the side, which would allow you to elude my attack but your cannon’s fire would be erroneous.

Approaching the continuing Leo-Blaze with formable speed and momentum, Ryûsuke purposely continued his offensive onslaught within the zigzag motion for one main reason, this being because his opponent did so. While still in motion, accurately to say in a evasive, wind performance, his cannons would prove near inefficient as it was quite difficult to hit a moving target, let alone while the target is using a similar zigzag from the opposite direction, the cannons were bound to miss there coordinated target.

However to continue logical and rational justification of his dodges, within the cockpit, cogitating a series of buttons and controls, Ryûsuke had effective maintained low ground and continued to evade using the same method as before. However this time the leaps were significantly lower then before, enabling faster reaction time due to the distance between the two. Exploiting the agile traits of the Saber-Lion, Ryûsuke was successfully able to counteract the cannon reaction and continue on with his Friction blades.

“These cannon tricks need to stop.”

Muttered Ryûsuke as he continued on with his violent intentions as he closed in onto the location of Jay and his Leo-Blaze; from such a close distance, there were only a few plausible methods for evasion, but seeing as the blades flocked outwards and were thin, those methods of evasion were decreasing with every step forward, only the next move of Jay could decide his fate as Ryûsuke aimed to sever the upper portion of Leo-Blaze from the bottom.

Jay watched as he continued his zig zag motion and got closer and closer towards his opponent. They began moving closer and closer with each movement of the zoid when they were about two zoid lengths apart jay decided to get serious. He moved his controls upward as he made his leo blaze jump. he figured his opponent would most likely leap as well,but he had something figured out. He was attempting to jump over the lion and land behind it. if this occured he would quickly fire shots to the back of the zoid after turning around.

The distance between the two lancing Zoids shorten with every step, the echo of the rather gigantic joints and machinery influencing the movements hollered with a composed infatuation as each pilot focused the majority of there attention span on the battle at hand, rather then outside interferences, or at least this could be side for Ryûsuke as he demonstrated sound, unyielding piloting performance which was defined as one who became analogous with their zoid, completely intoned with not only their own facilities, but their zoid’s as well, a faultless unisons so to say.

“Hmmm..”

Was the one sound in which Ryûsuke could use to comprehend the next equivocal action of his opponent as the dark haired genius relaxed himself within his pilot’s oversee, resting both hands on each handle. Deluding from his former and proverbial zigzag scheme, Jay would seemingly scuttle towards Saber-Lion head on as he was now in direct range of Ryûsuke’s High Friction Blades, or so he thought. Only separated by what could be measured in the length of two full zoid bodies, Leo-Blaze would enter a high cagey hurdle as he attempted to rocket over Saber-Lion in attempts to dart the forceful close range attack.

“Checkmate…”

Using proificent use of his Piloting skills, Ryûsuke would thrust the joysticks which were the zoid handles forward as Saber-Lion entered into a leaping fashion as well almost instantly following Jay’s bound. Now unswervingly beneath the Leo-Blaze, Ryûsuke would attempt to impel the uppermost Blade which resided on his head into the bottom of Leap-Blaze would most likely be the ending attack of this contest. Since both Zoids were now airborne, neither could really do anything to stray from their original diagram and thus evasion of this tactical onslaught would near unfeasible, maybe even inevitable. Also stacking against the odds of Jay evading the attack was that the blade which resided on the head was unfortunately the greatest (in terms of pinnacle).

"Chump." Jay said as he watched the saber lion jump in the air. It was painfully obvious that he was going to do this and jay already had something planned to counter it. Jay activated his boosters that acted as rockets to push him away from thr blade while in the air. When he landed,which would most likely be before the zoid he turned around and leaped at the airbourne zoid " Strike Lazer Claws!" He would activate his boosters to ensure he would land the attack before his opponent had a chance to counteract.

Jman, your previous post will not work the way you want it to.

1.) Your boosters point forwards. Turning them on will push you into the blade, not away from it

2.) Even if you could somehow dodge it, the idea that you could land, turn around, jump again, and attack faster than your opponent could land is off by a large amount. You will both hit the ground at the same time. Basic physics.

You are going to have to edit that post. That definitely won't work, using your boosters like that. Unless you come up with some brilliant way of dodging, please post how the attack lands and what damage it does. I can't think of any myself. Keep in mind that you can't dodge everything. Sometimes you gotta take it.
