Two battles, two wins, things were looking good for the man.
Aegis stood on the center of the platform, looking back and forth at the crowd as she awaited her next foe.
Azler was smiling a little, much warmer than earlier. He was actually starting to have fun, the battles had been challenging and stressful, yet he thoroughly enjoyed them without a doubt. He couldn’t wait for the next Zoid to enter, though he knew he couldn’t, and wouldn’t, underestimate anyone.

Tai and his command wolf enter the arena. He looked at the opponent with a sigh. The liger wouldn't be to much of a problem but he could do without having to face it. Yet a battle was a battle and he had to win. He adjusted his gloves and placed his googles on his eyes. He was ready now. Now all that had to happen was the judge bot coming down so they could start. He sure did hated those damn things.

(OOC: The Judge is always present mate, no need to wait) The man and his Liger watched as another Wolf entered the ring with him. Grinning slightly, Wilder pulled back the controls and make Aegis begin walking backwards, to make sure that the enemy wouldn’t be able to reach him too quickly. Scrolling through his music selection, the man bit his lip and kept flicking his eyes to the enemy and back. It seemed to be waiting for his first move, so Azler felt a bit more comfortable. InnervisionAs soon as the music kicked up, Aegis roared at the wolf and launched herself, running towards the weaker Zoid. As the Shield Liger approached within one full Zoid length of the foe, it leaped to the right side of it and using its right leg, the closest to its opponent, it attempted to slash across the Wolf’s right shoulder, aiming to cut through its armor.

Tai decided to play cat and mouse with the pilot of the liger. He ran away from the first swing and stayed very close to the edge. His hind legs up against it. He had a free side though so he wasn't in to much trouble. He would have to do better then that to catch him. Tai knew that the liger was stronger then him but that would be no problem with the way he controlled his wolf. It wasn't the first time he ever faced and this one just happened to be without it's trusty shield.
It let out a howl as it watched the opposing zoid. Tai didn't necessarily know what to do. It wasn't like he was without his gun everyday. This was really new to him. Enough to get him out of his usually calm demeanor.

As the Wolf dodged its assault and took off for the edge of the platform, Wilder watched almost curiously as it began to run around the edge of the high platform.
Grinning slightly as he realized something, Aegis roared and charged after it, yet, unlike the word was so often used, he wasn’t chasing to catch up, rather, he was purely chasing.
Controlling the Shield Liger with minute changes, Azler slowed his speed and timed his turns so that the Wolf would be exactly one Zoid space ahead of him at any time, both of them right next to the edge of the arena.
For now, he kept this chase steady and simple, awaiting his foe’s reaction…

Tai sighed as he was chased. He spun on the controls of his zoids. He tried to scratch at the shield liger as it would be running still when he stopped. At least he hoped for such. If not it would turn out worst then he expected. He fixed his googles as he looked to see what he did. He placed his hands back on the controls. He didn't want to mess up on his first battle of the tournament.

Tai sighed as he was chased. He spun on the controls of his zoids. He tried to scratch at the shield liger as it would be running still when he stopped. The crowd seemed to get louder with every passing second, even with his music blasting, the roaring could be heard in the background, never stopping. The feel of a tournament, how strange… As the Wolf ahead of him suddenly spun around, Azler couldn’t help but smirk. Yes, it was true he couldn’t stop, but he surely could leap yet again, and with the full space between them, it would be timed nearly perfectly. This time, however, he jumped towards his foe, not above him, but right for his main body, Aegis roaring as she pushed off from the ground with her legs extended, claws aiming for the wolf’s attacking arm, the other for its head…

Tai watched as he leaped in to the air. He refused to give up that easily though. He moved forward a little and attempted to bite on the striking leg. Tai was getting aggravated he didn't want to lose he needed to catch up to the other people with wins. He bit his lip knowing that he just got hit by his opponents paw in the body. The command wolf jaw attempted to bite on the side of the leg.

(( Sorry Tai, but your movements are invalid. The Liger was leaping to you, not over you, for its paw strike. Also, If it struck your Zoid in the body with its paw, how are you under it latching on to the bottom? @___@ ))

As the Wolf moved, Azler watched carefully as it bit onto one of his legs, and yet the other slammed into his body, sending both of the Zoids flat on the platform and sliding across it with the Wolf’s fangs digging into the Liger’s leg, yet Azler merely smirked at this.
One of the benefits of someone biting you, its means they have to have a grip on you, and it isn’t quite easy to break a hard biting grip.
With one of his claws digging into Tai’s Zoid’s body and pressing in as hard as he could on its shoulder, attempting to tear through it and possibly cleave its head, Aegis roared and sank her own fangs into the knocked down Zoid, biting the area of shoulder right next to her own paw, sinking as hard as she could, pushing her claws and teeth in deeper, trying to decapitate its opponent as its foe held onto her other leg.

Tai watched as his opponent attempted to decapitate it. He moved the controls on the zoid. Making it shake uncontrollably trying to take the complete leg off. Also it tried to swing with it's other leg to smack the liger's claws off of his body. This seemed like a battle he wouldn't succeed in but he needed to try. The zoid seemed to be in a lot of pain so this was close to the end for him yet he couldn't imagine giving up.

Even as the Wolf tried to pull off the Liger’s leg and smacked away its other, Aegis was NOT about to lose. Releasing the Wolf’s shoulder for a mere moment, not nearly long enough for the Wolf to let go of her leg and get away, the Shield Liger roared and sank its fangs into the Wolf’s neck and clamped down, severing as many wires as it could, yet Azler showed some mercy and merely bit in, rather than trying to tear off the head, though if the Command Wolf tried to get away, it would decapitate itself rather nicely.
With the roar of the crowd around him, Azler could only hope that this neck attack, paired with its already massively damaged shoulder, would cause a shut down of the Wolf’s system and finally end the battle…

"Battle over, battle over! The tournament has ended and the winner has been decided. Winner: Azler." yelled the judge, retreating to the capsule. With the battle announced as finished, both Zoids were allowed to leave. Should either of the Zoids be incapable of leaving, assistance for such movement would be provided. All tournament results are non-refundable, so have a nice day.
