Tai stopped his zoid as he reached the craig. The black wolf head moved from side to side as he looked for his opponent. He didn't really feel like a fight today. Yet he felt it was important when looking for a team. He couldn't go and work with a bunch of losers so it was what it was. He didn't even know what zoid he would be up against. Which kind of made it worst for him.
He bit his nails as he waited. He was actually anxious. He was never like this before. He hoped the black knights captain came soon. He looked around the area as he waited. All the boulders could work to his advantage. The ruins would also help he could always run and shoot if he needed to do such. Yet he highly doubt that.

Ai Otome made her way to the ruinous craig. She was in her shield liger and was looking for her opponent. Ai saw a black command wolf and opened communications with it. "Are you my opponent" Ai asked. She waited for a reply from the pilot of the command wolf.
Ai took a look at the surrounding area. It looked like a huge ruined mess but that might work to her advantage. She immediately started thinking of plans. Ai thought of back-up plans and numerous strategies. She prepared her weapons and made sure her shield liger was working at full power.

He watched as the liger came up from his wolf. Yes. I am Tai Adazume. Your opponent." His voice was cold and emotionless as usual. He had to think about this now. A liger against him wasn't really the best competition for him. Yet he would definently need a little or a lot of luck of beating it.
Now all they needed to wait for was their bot to come. The judge bots always aggravated him. He never liked any of them. He didn't have anything else to say. He just wanted to see what the black knights were made of. His hands were above his head while he waited for this to start.

A judge capsule fell and made a creator. The capsule opened and the judge began talking. "Ai Otome vs Tai Adazume. Battle mode 0992...ready...fight" The judge said waving it's hands to signal that the fight should start. Ai smiled and moved at a reasonably fast speed towards the command wolf. Ai was thinking of which attack to use first.
She activated the Anti-Zoid 3-Barrel Shock Cannon and fired two rounds meaning six shots. After firing Ai ran to the side to avoid close combat with the command wolf. Even though Ai was confident her shield liger could win in a close combat fight she had to be careful. She kept several plans in her head just waiting to be used. Ai was already planning several moves ahead and thought of counter attacks for whatever the command wolf could throw at her.

Once he saw the bot dropped he adjusted his gloves and put his googles down. The wolf dashed to the side of the shots that were sent into one of the ruins. As the paws stamped into the ground. The wolf spun and ran from the ruins protecting him.
He fired the gun above his body as he ran towards the shield liger. It wasn't going to be as fast as him. So he could use the ruins and boulders to his advantage. Tai's gray eyes watched the scenery. He fired one more shot but it was aimed for a boulder in front of the model. Hopefully the rocks rolling would stop the running.

Ai saw the gun on the back of the command wolf fire and jumped to the right and out of the way. She kept running and then noticed the rocks rolling to stop her from running. Ai opened her two Pop-Out Type missile Pods and fire two missiles. This would blow away the rocks so Ai didn't have to slow down. She closed the missile pods and turned on her Anti-Zoid 30mm Double-Barreled Beam Gun. While running towards the command wolf Ai fired of a few rounds aiming for the front legs.
This was a fun fight and it was getting Ai's blood flowing. She was excited and wondered just how good a fight the command wolf would put up. Ai's plan was to get close to the command wolf and then when she was close enough she'd attack using the claws and fangs of she shield liger. She'd aim for the legs and neck to immobilize the zoid but that was only if she got close enough. Ai kept her gun out and was ready to activate her shield if she needed it. Ai wondered what the command wolf was about to do now.

Tai was pretty upset that his shots missed. He didn't have to sweat it though well not exactly until the shots were fired. He couldn't get to the closet ruins. When he tried to slide to the left his bottom leg was hit. It wasn't horrible damage so he could keep going. He fired as he kept going forward. He refused to stop. If she wanted to attack it would have to be head on.
In a matter of seconds they would be clashing in close combat. Yet what if somebody had a different plan. If either of them stopped it would be bad. He held his hands on the controls. It was now or never. He had to be brave...really brave. If he didn't do his plan correctly the outcome could cause serious damage to his zoid.

Ai smiled as her attacks hit the bottom left leg of the command wolf. She ran at maximum speed towards the command wolf. Ai was determined to win this fight here and now. As she got closer to the command wolf Ai activated her strike claws and strike fangs. Ai was focused on the command wolf and thought of nothing but bringing it down.
The two zoids got closer and closer towards each other. When Ai was in striking distance she aimed a strike claw at the command wolf's chest while aiming a strike fang at the command wolf's neck. This was a dangerous combo for the command wolf. Ai waited to see what the command wolf would do about her attacks. Ai always had her shield and guns just in case something happened.

He ran behind another ruin as he saw the liger try to pounce. Not a shot of his hit. He fired from his spot against the ruins and kept going. In the opposite direction. "Cmon please hit." He had to stay on the move. He didn't want to get caught in a close range fight with that thing. Even worst he didn't want to have to actually have a run in with the shield of that thing.
The wolf jumped on top of one of the boulders and continued to fire from his spot. He refused to lost unless he gave it all or if his zoid exploded. He howled while on top of the boulder. The black wolf leg was a little hurt. It was starting to become a problem to his movement.

Ai turned off her strike claws and strike fang when she saw the command wolf run away. She saw some shots coming towards her and quickly activated the shield. This opponent was very good and had some good tactics. The command wolf ran on top of a boulder and continued shooting. Luckily Ai still had her shield up and active.
Ai opened her missile pods and aimed at the command wolf and the boulder. She then fired a total of six missiles, three at the boulder three at the command wolf. This fight was really getting Ai's blood pumping and adrenaline flowing. Ai saw the back leg of the command wolf and smiled. She knew it must be hard for it to move. Ai smiled and wondered what the command wolf would do now.

He pressed down on the controls and it jumped into the air as it fired at the missles coming for him. 2 were down but the last one barely missed. He couldn't keep doing this though. The shots would soon get to him. As he came towards the Liger he acitvated his fangs. He attempted to bite right into the neck of the Liger.
If he missed it could possibly be the end for him. Yet he really didn't want to take that risk especially since his opponent was untouched by his attacks. He needed a plan quick.

The command wolf was coming towards the shield liger. Ai smirked and thought that the command wolf was being a bit reckless. She still had the shield up to protect herself. Ai waited until the command wolf came closer and then jumped to the right. Ai activated the strike claws again and aimed a powerful slash at the side of the command wolf. Ai thought that this would settle the match.

As the liger swung he attempted to lift his paw up. It took none of the damage as his side was slashed into. The cockpit started to flash red. Their was a problem but yet he still refused to give up. "Bingo!" He hoped all the energy was out of the damn shield as he fired at point blank range at the cockpit and body of the opposing zoid. He just needed to finish it off. Though that wouldn't be much of a problem. It would be though if the attack missed. He liked his chances though.

Ai watched as her claws sunk into the command wolf's side. She thought that had ended the fight but the command wolf stood up. Ai was impressed with this guys guts and determination. Her shield was all used up due to the transfer of energy to the claws and fangs. Ai turned to the right and felt her zoid get hit my several shots. It did some damage but not enough to keep Ai down. She turned on her Anti-Zoid 30mm Double-Barreled Beam Gun and let loose a few rounds aiming at the command wolf's legs and chest. This fight had to be close to over and Ai was impressed with this pilot.

The zoid was hit twice in the body by the bullets as Tai tried to move out of the damage. He then turned on his communications. Alright you win I don't need anymore serious damage done to my zoid. Especially since this is all I've got at the moment." He sighed as he jumped out of the cockpit and went straight to look at the damaged left leg.
