Custom Zoid and Artwork Questions

Hey! Just a couple questions. Are there any payouts in posts or team points for completing art requests? You know, for sigs or gfx or just regular artwork for other people. Such as the system over at DFRP.

And also I have another question for you. If I stripped down a Shield Liger and replaced its parts with weapons that are different, but equivalent in strength of the originals, would the rank of it go up or stay the same?

I wanted to replace the E-Shield with a stealth generator. Eliminate the shock cannon. Eliminate the double barreled beam cannon on its back. I wanted to keep the rocket pods. And then give it a custom weapon (a large single barreled beam cannon that extends out from its armor, a large, high calibur sniper rifle)

All in all. It's equipment will be the rocket pods (x2), Stealth Generator, and that custom rifle. Because it doesn't have its most powerful equipment (the E-Shield), would that even it out the customized parameters or would that still increase its rank?

For art and stuff, you can set up a shop in the Mechanic's Lane. You could call it 'ID' or 'Photography' to sell it ICly. You have to get actually paid in the site currency by the member buying it, though. Too many people abuse the free payouts on DFRP.

If you stripped the Shield Liger, you could put equivalent parts and still keep it the same rank. Removing the shock cannon and beam rifle to replace it with a large sniper rifle would be equivalent. Taking out the shield and putting in stealth would not be, though. The stealth system ranks way higher than the shield, IE why I didn't put it in with the rest of the standard upgrades.

The shield you're thinking of in the Anime is also organoid-boosted, remember. At least until Guardian Force. If you put in a lesser camoflage, that has restrictions like dropping field when firing, then perhaps that would work. I can't say anything specific, since this stuff can't be generalized. Case-by-case evaluation.

I like that idea, the camo unit being flawed. Sounds neat. Thanks for answering my questions, I'm going to work on my Shield Liger right away, lol.
