Okay. This is going to be the first two zoids in my upcoming Shield Liger XO series. Yes, a series. There are going to be two more in the series, ending with the epic unit, Shield Liger XOC. The C stands for Cosmos and I expect that one to be S Ranked and it will be the last in the series. But first, I want to see how the first two fair in ratings.
Zoid Name: Shield Liger XO [Xero Overdrive]
Rank:
Description: Unlike most Shield Ligers, this one introduce a new prototype stealth unit that can cover larger zoids than ever before. But because it can be used on larger zoids and cover more area, it uses up more power. The E-Shield and Stealth Unit can't exist on the same zoid, simply because it would use more energy than the Shield Liger actually has, so the E-Shield was given up.
And also, it's most notable feature, is the prototype sniper rifle that can be concealed in a compartment on its back, where it can fold out from which takes a total of twenty seconds to complete. This Shield Liger Prototype also lacks the speed, armor and weapons of the original, making it less diverse and more heavily centered on long range stealth combat. But the rifle can be jettisoned, allowing for more mobility, but because of its lack of armor and other weapons, it's really not that useful, it also sheds 10 tons of its weight and adds an additional 50 km/h back to speed.
Weight: 102 tons
Depth: 21.6 meters
Height: 9 meters
Maximum Speed: 200 km/h
Regular Weapons:
- Laser Sabre [x2]
- Strike Claws [x4]
- Pop out missile pods [x2]
Custom Weapons:
- Concealable 130mm Energy Sniper Rifle [Bulky and powerful sums up this prototype sniper rifle. It alone adds another 10 tons the zoid's weight. Though it is large, it can actually be folded into a large compartment in the zoid's back, allowing to be hidden from plain and also allows for more movement. The rifle's recoil sends even this shield liger back by a couple meters at a time and shooting it while moving is impossible because of such.]
- Xero Overdrive Stealth Unit [This new prototype stealth unit that can cover larger zoids than ever before. But because it can be used on larger zoids and cover more area, it uses up more power. The stealth unit must be lowered before firing a weapon, simply because the zoid's generator would shut down from an overload.]
Zoid: Shield Liger XOR [Xero Overdrive: Rhinos]
Rank:
Description: The Shield Liger XOR is meant to be used as an interchangable armor similar to the CAS unit. The armor is striped down on either side of the zoid and two large titanium plates of armor are added onto it in place of the side armor. These plates can be extended straight outward and also, they can be controlled to come together in front of the zoid, creating one large plate of armor in front of the zoid's head.
The Rhinos unit was designed specifically for close range combat and head on assaults. Each plate of the Rhinos Shield Plates has one large spike on it and also smaller spikes so when it rams its target, the spikes dig into the enemy's armor and rip it to shreds. Also, on each plate is a single rocket pod embedded into it, this is so rockets can be shot forward for coverage as it charges forward. To say the least, this unit is meant only for charging the enemy. But the titanium armor plates can be jettisoned, allowing for more mobility, but because of its lack of armor and other weapons, it's really not that useful, it also sheds 10 tons of its weight and adds an additional 20 km/h to speed.
Weight: 101 tons
Depth: 21.6 meters
Height: 9 meters
Maximum Speed: 285 km/h

- Stampede Boosters [x2] [These boosters are strategically placed directly on the rear of the Shield Liger XOR. This means that the zoid is given extra boosting ability, but lacks in turning ability while they are in use. Because the Rhinos is most effective in charges, moving forward is all it needs. The Stampede boosters are prototypes and use too much energy to put any kind of energy depleting upgrades onto it. Such as energy cannons, lasers, E-Shield or stealth.]
