This is the latest known photograph of the Gilvader currently rampaging through Romeo City. We at the ZBC have knowledge that it is currently in the Downtown area, where some of our most valuable assets are located. We request that the six zoids who have been stationed there immediately engage the enemy and attempt to bring him down. Those in other areas, hold your positions; he may escape, and we don't want to put all our forces in one area."Lune..." Kearny muttered quietly to himself. The blue organoid to his right glanced over, only sitting in the cockpit next to the extremely young pilot. The boy's hands stretched to reach the controls, but were steady and confident once they were able to reach them. "I don't need you quite yet. Gilvy and I have yet to catch their attention. Only the zoids outside seem to have opened fire."Overhead, the skies just about the building tops was thick with fire. From small-caliber gatlings to large-shelled cannons, fire blanketed the sky above Romeo City from all directions. It would be impossible for any flying zoid to go above the highest buildings. The Gilvader easily crested between the large structures, since the streets below were zoid-sized. It turned a corner, without even brushing the edge of a building. "Let's catch their attention!" The gilvader's many whirling blades started to power up, energy glowing along them as the saws on his back, wing, and tail lit up. Folding the wings in, he dove forwards, crashing through the middle of a tall skyscraper. The metal creaked, before caving in, the top half tipping over and crashing into the building next to it. Most people had already fled and evacuated, but several more were running in terror on the streets below, making ground zoid traffic difficult. The Gilvader came out the other side of the building unscathed, a trail of dust and debris following it for a few seconds as it emerged. It turned gently, aiming towards a smaller structure. The various guns and turrets on the bird opened up, shredding the front of the building and puncturing holes all the way through. The building itself was swiss-cheesed, crumpling down onto itself like a house of cards. The Gilvader was framed above in the smoke, lit by the red glowing fires below.

Tai was watching the gilvader. It was truly a monster they would really need help. He aimed his weapon and fired straight for the wings. Maybe if it couldn't fly they would have the advantage. He and his command wolf stayed on the attack following until it ran through the building. This zoid's power seemed immense. Like it could probably destroy all of them. Tai just watched what this monster next move would be and where was his team.

[Enter Dmitri and Buster Eagle]
------
Climbing in the sky, Buster Eagle sped up, pushing the zoid into mach one, simply to find the threat and relay information to any zoids in the area. The devastating bombardment was coming from...what seemed like a large Gilvader. Despite of hearing mention of many times and seeing vague pictures of one, he never actually saw one in person. Such a large and rare zoid, to find one attacking the city was surprising, terrifying even.
"To all zoids in the general area, we have a large scale zoid, the Gilvader attacking the city. It's fire power is too much for any one zoid to handle...destroy the Gilvader or the city will fall."
Damn, I just can't let them have their way...That Gilvader...does it sport the quad gravity cannons? This is ridiculous...
Hiding in the hole of the wrecked building, the Buster Eagle began firing its buster cannons, in the hopes that the Gilvader would at least ignore any other zoids or the innocent people while he distracted him.
"What's your angle, Gilvader?" Dmitri called out on his comm unit.

Angle? His angle was down, or so he hoped. This was going to be very tricky - he couldn't fight the Gilvader in the air, and he certainly couldn't fire flashbangs at it - that just wouldn't work. Besides, the large scale amount of Zoids appearing from the woodwork would be just as blinded as the Gilvader if he did.
Wrinkling his nose a little bit, he was almost crushed in the rubble of the falling building - his land-based zoid would be in trouble. Luckily, he was fast, and he didn't have to worry about squishing people in the streets - they were all evacuated or in safety.
Currently, there was a whole lot of nothing for him to do - he'd have to hope they could get it lower, or he could get higher.

A crazed sound of laughter rang out over the intercom, before the Buster eagle came from below and infront of the gilvader, letting off smoke to try to blind the Gilvader itsefl, before doing a flip. "You may be fast, but if you can't see, how do you plan to pilot?" He taunted, before continuing his attempt to talk to the Gilvader. "I hope you know that no one will let you just destroy a city, and everyone in it, so tell me, if only just to me, what is it that you and your associates are after?" He asked, steadying his own voice, as he let off some rounds towards the wing with his buster cannon.
She then pulled a barrel roll before splitting around a few buildings. He knew there was a good chance the gilvader was able to with stand their hits, but at the same time he would attempt it, and he hoped the smoke he left on the Vader would slow it down, or at the very least, lower it's destructive ability. He watched as another eagle in the sky was attempting to drop the Legendary zoid, hoping only that he'll keep up. "Lets play tag, who ever can drop that thing, will be the winner" he taunted the other pilot, rolling back to shoot more cannon shots at the wings, hoping not to get hit by any attacks. He kept himself very aware.
"Now all you land bound zoids, I hope you know that this is the sky, if anything falls out of it, your doomed" He shouted over the com, laughing more, letting the adrenaline flow, as he did a flip in the air again, and then a barrel roll, trying to get out of site again.

Unfortunately for Caleb, and Tai, the people were not all evacuated to safety. "Most people had already fled and evacuated, but several more were running in terror on the streets below, making ground zoid traffic difficult." In addition to that, debris was falling from the battle above, blocking more roadways and paths for the two ground zoids. The other two had yet to show up, stacking the odds in Gilvader's favor even more until they arrived.
The various rounds of fire that started to open up on the gilvader all found its mark, the lumbering zoid not trying to dodge the measly fire. All three were low level attacks from D rank weapons. The attacks bounced around off of the fortress zoid's armor, doing little if any visible damage. Direct fire was not going to be the way to take this thing down. The smoke, though, blinded the Gilvader.
For about a second. The flying zoid did nothing to slow or decrease its speed, and so emerged out of the cloud of smoke within a second. It reared sharply up, though, avoiding hitting one of the nearby buildings. It was a zoid parking garage, with an open roof, and looked sturdy enough to take some Gilvader fire without collapsing. The large bird climbed higher, circling around the buildings in the garage's general area.
"Smoke? You'll need more smoke than that..." the boy murmured into the comm unit, not seeming too engrossed or interested. He clicked the trigger on his control stick, training some guns on another massive building. "This is some real smoke." He fired again, sending a massive barrage of standard weapon fire into the structure, holding back the gravity cannons for now. The building burst, then started smoking and flaming as it gradually crumbled, flaming debris falling around it.
The Gilvader briefly exited downtown, before reappearing a second later at the end of Main Street. Main Street went down the entire central axis of the city, past its various buildings and parking structures, and ended with the ceremonial arch that was the 'official' entrance to the city. Training his sights right down this massive road, the Gilvader stabalized, heading into a straight path and making no other movements.
"I have no angle, really. I'm not after anything, personally. My friends are, though, and they told me I could make some smoke if I wanted to. It's nothing real serious." the boy stated, holding the controls perfectly still. With the flick of a switch, the four Gravity Cannons started to train forward, rotating and opening as they started to take aim. They required perfect stillness as the Gilvader swooped down, preparing to open fire as soon as it crossed the ceremonial arches.

Drago had placed his shield liger in the parking garage that the gilvader had just about destroyed in his accent. He moved his liger keeping the inactive zoids between him and the outside view points so that he wouldn't be seen as he made his way to the top. Once there he target the monstrous zoid who just finished destroying a building across the way. Drago flipped a couple switches that opened up the missile pods, deployed his 20mm double barrel beam cannons. With a push of a couple of his buttons he released a volley of his missiles as well as a 3 shots from his shock cannon and a burst from each barrle of his beam cannon.
Drago kept his finger on his shield generator button but thought it would be better to get out of there as he saw the gravity cannons point forward It would be better for me to get to his side or something. Hyo moved forward running leaping from the top of the garrage to the next roof barely getting on it though when he did the roof sank too deep for him to move. Drago hit the roof a single time causing it to collapse going through about 6 floors of the empty building before hitting rock bottom. Drago turned on his shield and charged through wall that lead out to a parallel street to main.

So was this all a game for the attacker? What was to happen to the city? Such a large, destructive zoid couldn't be left to wreak havoc and demolish the city. It was up to all the zoid pilots, far and wide, to take care of such a threat. It was their duty to the city that they loved so much. Dmitri flew toward the Gilvader, noticing something, its fabled gravity cannons were charging. Dmitri had never seen a gravity cannon in his life, there was no telling how powerful the blast going to be. He had to get out its general area.
The Buster Eagle darted downward and began weaving in out of buildings as it descended, dodging whatever debris falling from above. He was just going cruise along near the streets until he saw an opening. His best bet at this point was to board the Gilvader, but that in itself was impossible.
One thing rattled his mind though, what were the other members of this "group" trying to gain. That was a mystery that had to be solved.

He ran away from the buildings dropping and the people. He didn't think they could possibly do this with the people their. He aimed for the chest and upper wing area with his gun. Hoping he could get an on point shot. If he couldn't this would be even worst. Like he wasn't having as much struggle with this thing now. He had to worry about a gravity cannon.

There was no gunning he could do, and with there still being panicking people in the street, he couldn't accelerate too well. Not without making a few smears on the roads. Still, he had only a single brilliant idea - that was not brilliant. There was something oddly familiar about the Buster Eagle's voice - not the crazy, smoke-spewing one. The calm one.
For now, he pushed that from his mind - he was rushing as fast as he could manage, while trying to keep off of humans, towards the archway that the Gilvader was flying for. He only had one shot - but if there was one thing he was good at, it was accuracy. The Gilvader was flying for the ceremonial archways, and he was running for them. Obviously, the Gilvader was faster, but as it was coming from a larger distance, he had only one option.
Through.
Light began to filter around the paws, as Caleb called "Clear the main pathway!" Which was a stupid request - people were getting away from the obvious trajectory of the gilvader's flight path, while he was running all but parallel with it. He leaped - energy blazing, to plow directly in to the rightmost support of the archway.
Hopefully, if anyone else could see what he was doing, they'd give him an assist - then again, it might not be necessary. Tons of energized force crashing into a ceremonial structure would be a difficult thing to survive. Either way, the intent was clear - bring the archway down on it, as it passed through. One chance. He just had to hope the Gilvader didn't fire until after it was through the arch - otherwise, the Glow Fox would be in a lot of trouble.
As would it's pilot.

Kirin watched everything as he prepared for another run, and noticed many different things that he could help with. He flew up into the air, as he prepared, and he realized, he likes the style of the white fox. "Well, if your going in, I'll be your wing man, lets bring this thing down!" He declared with another bout of laughter, his speed heading up, as he looked at the different angles. He noticed that the Vader was building up power, and realized just how much power they needed. He started activating his weapons as he pulled out infront of the vader from behind some buildings a small bit away. "All weapons, fire!" He laughed insanely, as he let off his Air to Air missiles, shots from his two buster cannons, and prepared to run into the Vader, atleast that was what it looked liked. His actual intention was to be there to help the fox land out of the way.
He continued to fire, watching as all of his ammo, besides the Incindiary bombs were used, leaving just the buster cannon, and the Bombs, as well as his Super Alloy Talons and Beak, he could only pull this off if he could get ontop of the vader, but doing that would be dangerous. He suddenly got an idea. "So, Buster Eagle pilot, why don't we make a game of this, Who ever can strike this guy and leave a mark wins, Now lets get this going!" He howled as he let off more shots, doing a barrel roll as he prepared to try to hit the gilvader with his talons and to save the fox's pilot.

As the Gilvader started to come in low, it was at a range that the fire from the ground zoids would be able to reach it proper. The pilot did not seem very concerned, however, being entirely confident in his machine's capabilities to withstand small-arms fire. Even against normal zoids, the dual-barreled cannons of the shield liger and command wolf were not exactly the most powerful weapons. Along with the missiles and shock cannon fire, aimed at random parts of the Gilvader's body, they did nothing more than slightly damage the coating of the paint. The smoke from the fire, though, hampered the pilot's long-range vision.
While the Gilvader got closer and closer, one of the gravity cannon shells was loaded into each of the cannons, the process a slow one and delicate. He kept the path straight and true, with little to no turbulence, his aim slowly steadying as the targeting computers locked on. The four target sights wavered around the base of the Jonas Building, the tallest structure in downtown. One by one, the targeting sights on his display stopped wandering and turned green, signalling they were locked on. As he passed under the archway, the fourth turned green, and his finger moved for the trigger.
CRASH
Red lights lit up the cockpit, and all four targeting systems went awry. The heavy ceremonial archway landed on the Gilvader's neck, trapping it like an old Ox Yoke. The weight on the front end tilted the heavy zoid downwards, forcing the front end to crash into the ground, the rest soon following. It skidded, landing in the middle of the next intersection before coming to a complete stop. The smoke from the small-arms fire had prevented him from seeing the incredibly shiny fox ahead of time. Cursing, the pilot cancelled the firing pattern.
The Gilvader rested there, crunched into the ground at the crossroads of two major streets. It didn't move at first, seemingly defeated. It was not so. The internal mechanisms of the Gilvader were carefully restoring the Gravity Cannon shells to their protective compartments, lest they accidentally be set off and take the entire zoid and surrounding blocks with them. While this was going on, the other guns could not be used, and the Gilvader could not move.
The attacks from the second Buster Eagle created more smoke around the zoid, obscuring its view of the surrounding area. Though it was quite visible itself, he could not target anyone outside. Nonetheless, the Gilvader was in no way dead quite yet. Its various close-range devices, including the tail blade, Crasher Horns, and energy-buzzsaws, all started to light and power up, getting ready. Should a close-range attack come in, it would be returned doubly at the expense of the agressor. As soon as the shells were stored, it would be ready to take off and cut through the archway easily. For a few moments, though, it was completely immobile, and could be hit with high accuracy.

Drago watched as his weapons had very little effect on gilvader barely obscuring its vision. Drago also watched as the massive structure of the arches ended up around the Gilvaders head dragging it to the ground. Well now would be the time for me to get in close to this thing and get some damage done with my claws, fangs and laser sabers.
Drago Moved his liger out back into the main street where he ran at full speed, his claws started to glow as he flipped the switch to his shield generator causing the mane like parts of his zoid to flip up a bit as he started to emanate a shield to protect himself from most any frontal attacks waiting for himself to get into range so that he can get a good hit on the Gilvader. Not being one to just sit there and let his shield do all the work he kept his movements in a serpentine patter so that for the most part he dodged what he could as well as kept those that needed to lock on from getting a clear lock on him.
Drago was going to try to get onto to the gilvaders back from there he was going to aim for the giant zoids Left wing using his Right strike claw going for a downward style attack shutting his shield off right before the strike.

What seemed to be a white shadow fox, had caused the ceremonial arches to crash on top of the Gilvader. But wait, wasn't that voice familiar? No, it couldn't of been. Dmitri knew of no one with a white shadow fox, a flashy zoid like that couldn't belong to any acquaintance of his. No, it was impossible, utterly impossible, yet that voice. He couldn't forget it, not even as he looked toward the sky for a change for glory. Pulling up sharply on his controls, a push on a throttle, caused his Buster Eagle to climb dangerously fast into the sky.
"Tch. I can handle this. If not...if I can't handle it...I'll stall out and die...what a choice." Dmitri pushed forward, mach one, mach two. The Buster Eagle's engines roared to live, a sonic pulse booming from behind the zoid. "Not yet." In the heat of battle, one from below could witness the zoid flying straight up in a magnificent approach, flying right past the Gilvader. Dmitri finally caught eye of the white shadow fox, trying to remember exactly of the voice. It sounded soft, like someone around his, yet very...distinct...someone he knew.
"This isn't a game." Dmitri said in a very calm, calculating tone of voice. "But...this can't be allowed to continue, no...full stop." The engines cut off, Dmitri pushed forward on the controls which allowed the Buster Eagle to enter in dive, releasing the locks of all the bombs and missiles in his arsenal. Was this it? A deadly dive bomb at near sonic speed? No, not yet, not this time. Firing all his missiles and his bombs of both types, destruction rained down toward the back of the Gilvader's neck, releasing a large payload of explosives. Two shots from the buster cannons slowed the zoid down a bit from the recoil, but that wasn't nearly enough to save him, not this time.
"I'm sorry... Caleb. I won't be...." Wait, is that...who it was? "CALEB! CALEB!" For the first time in a very long time, his emotions were running high, anxiety and adrenaline taking over. Not his...friend...not his love. Throwing caution to the wind and his life into the breeze was not the way live, not if you have someone to care for. That would be selfish. Giving your life to leave your loved one behind.
"CALEB!" Slamming on the controls, the Buster Eagle dove and continued to dive, Dmitri's will exhausted, blood running from his mouth. A cough escaped his lungs, a small puddle showing up in his hand. Turning on his video communication link, he tuned into the white shadow fox's wavelength. "Caleb...." And then the Buster Eagle seemed to vanish out of sight behind a large set of buildings.

( Since only two people seem to be keeping attention to this thread, and one just seems to have dove out of the fight, I'm going to move it on to the next arena. It's going to be Max's turn at Axial Park! )
The Gilvader shuddered and rocked, the great metal avian creature trying to blow off the shackles of the arches that stood between it and freedom. All its mobile turrets and blades and such directed themselves towards the oncoming Shield Liger, but very few of them could actually get a direct shot while it was grounded like that, and the blades were all facing forwards. The shield repeled most of them as the blue feline closed in, the Gilvader focusing instead of trying to break out in time. The arch crumbled beneath the saws, but too late.
As it turned out, the top of the wingbases weren't that armored, having to be loose in order to allow the wings to move themselves up and down. While shots from the bottom could easily be repeled by the thick armor there, the metal on the top was only one layer thick. Had it been an energy powered slicing attack like a Strike Laser Claw, the wing would have been sheared off by the attack. Instead, it was only severely damaged, the Gilvader slowing down in its rapid forward acceleration.
The boy pulled on the controls, pulling the beast into the air and dislodging the blue cat. The wing was heavily damaged, but still attached. Grunting, he turned towards the organoid next to him. "Now..." Nodding its head, it slipped back and dissolved into energy, passing through the metal compartments and down into the beast's zoid core. As it wrapped around it, the wing started to slowly heal, and the flying monster leveled itself soon after reaching the maximum flying height. Turning away from downtown, it soared off to the next destination, now more powerful than before, though damaged.
