Age: 18
Gender: Male
Height: 6’2’’
Weight: 187 lbs.

3.) Piloting skills are top notch in close combat, but has a bit of trouble at long range.

Theme Song:
"WILD CHALLENGER" by JINDOU
-or-
"Reckless Fire" by Daichi
-or-
“Unknown By M.E. (Instrumental)” by Hunnid P
Appearance:
Marcus happens to have that absolute must-have, washboard stomach that other guys who've seen better days wish they had. Due to the fact that he works on machines almost to a constant, he practically was born that good looking. Though considerably a bit lanky looking despite his torso being not-so-lanky, and his legs being of a longer build, his kicks are quite powerful, and are very capable of snapping a jaw or two off.
As much as physical appearance goes, Marcus chooses to wear either a long, black tank top, covering it over with a slightly dressy, black, button-up shirt with a collar -- or a black tank top with a long, black trench coat that will billow out behind him for seemingly no apparent reason. (Many people assume he has the uncanny ability to command where his clothes blow in the wind at will).
His pants are either a pair of near skin-tight blue jeans, normally used for the nitty-gritty mechanical work he conducts during his spare time -- or a pair of outrageously baggy, black pants with a near uncountable amount of belts, chains, straps, and whatever the hell he wants on them; simply because he can. His shoes can be changed up, but he normally wears a pair of black combat boots with small, metallic plates of Marcus' own design; used normally for working in hazardous territory, or for kicking the snot out of his enemies.
Sapphire blue eyes that are hella blue, even for blue-eyed people, jet black hair that goes down to his lower back, (kept in a ponytail, of course), and he's also sporting that awesome tan that just about everyone wants. Practically your typical ladies' man, if not, just about anybody's man; should he attract the wrong kind of attention.
Personality:
Quite optimistic for your everyday mechanic, Marcus always views the glass as half full. Whenever he’s thrown into an environment of extreme pessimism, he will normally find some way to turn it into a positive and use it to his advantage. Approaches life as a gigantic machine; the more cogs and sprockets it has, the more interesting it can be.
Normally, he’s quite respectful towards anyone he deems worthy of being respected, but he will instantly grow cold towards anybody who follows morals that Marcus believes are a danger to society. Unless forced to or unless he gets bored (the latter being rarer), he refuses to comprehend a criminal’s wishes.
As smart as he is, he is hot blooded to a fault in battle; he‘s usually calm and peaceful outside of a fight. Marcus usually adds in a few “martial arts screams” at times, occasionally out of nowhere. He believes that anything can be accomplished, so long as one is willing to put effort and hard work into it; development of this ideal caused him to develop a dislike against those who looked down upon others. On the side of mechanic work, he trains every day, improving his fighting skills should he get into a street brawl. On top of that, he had even once combined the two into a totally plausible fighting style, tying two socket wrenches together and using them as makeshift nunchaku!
Craves adrenaline rush. He will do normally reckless stunts and pull off insane moves just to get one last scream of joy out. Though a respectful young man, he loves to grind on people’s gears at times, just to get into a fight. Though supportive of any allies, he really isn’t much of a team player, wanting to do things on his own and at full force rather than sit on the sidelines and be a cheerleader.
Loves to put extra detail into his work, and will occasionally offer a free paintjob with anything vehicular he works on, simply because he feels as if though it needs a bit of a personal touch. Has a bad habit of autographing his work at times, including Zoids. He also has a bad habit of listening to music whenever he Zoid Battles as well, which can get quite annoying for anyone trying to speak to him via commsignals.
Note: He hates it when people ask him about his parents, as he believes they gave him up simply because they did not love him anymore. He will usually badmouth anyone who tries to bring up his past.
History:
Marcus practically grew up a normal child with a loving family in the middle of the heavily urban areas of Romeo City. His constant exposure to everything Zoids only served to further increase his future love for anything mechanical in general, ranging from simple steam engines to full blown fortress Zoids that hovered over the city occasionally.
His parents were always supportive of the boy, and were willing to spend tons of money to allow him to take up tutelage under a master mechanic. But because of this “special training” he would take up, he was forced to move away from his parents, and would ultimately end up never seeing them again. Because Marcus was young at the time this happened, he developed a belief that his parents didn’t love him anymore, and eventually grew to dislike them over time.
Marcus had an incredibly fast learning rate for his age back then, and was able to complete basic training by the age of nine. The mechanic he had trained under was strict, though this was quite logical as he was a grizzled Zoid battle veteran. Though rough, he was kind in a sort of hardened sense, and always looked out after his pupil. In any case, Marcus was quite fragile, and after he was assaulted by muggers at one point, he took it upon himself to learn martial arts on the side of his training as a master mechanic.
Around the age of fourteen was when he was finally exposed to advanced mechanics training, given extremely complex machines and Zoid parts and commanded to perform time attack-like situations. Naturally, being as smart as he is, he completed training with barely any effort, and was able to get even a few grins from his normally gruff sensei. Earning his respect, he eventually looked at him as a father figure, and came to even call him “Dad” at one point.
At seventeen, it was revealed to him that his master was, at one point, a master Zoid battler before he became a mechanic. Naturally astonished as well as inspired to learn how to do such wondrous work like that, he pleaded his master to teach him how to Zoid battle. Of course, because the boy was clingy now, he had taught him the extreme basics of Zoid battling (emphasis on “extreme basics”), tutoring him on how to run one and how to make one move.
That was practically about it. Naturally frustrated and left in the dark, it took Marcus a full blown year to figure out just how to fire a weapon on a Zoid, let alone to properly make it function. However, though he was left in the dark on battling, movement became no problem for him, allowing himself to come up with crazier and more wacky stunts with the old scrap Zoids his master had stowed away in a secret hangar he had. He found that he had a natural affinity for close-range Zoids, and, not even bothering with longer ranged ones, he practiced until he could manage to work a Zoid’s close range capabilities simply out of memory.
It was at this point that he had finally completed his training in mechanics; having learned practically everything there is to know about machines. Given a starter Zoid, an old Rev Raptor outfitted with Boosters and practically told that “he was on his own now”, Marcus set out on his own to modify this old junker of a Zoid and learn how to battle, acquiring his own complex near the middle of Romeo City and living a life as a freelance mechanic -- and part time Zoid Battler. (In training).

Zoid: Rev Raptor Vee
Status: Upgraded
Rank: Rank F
Description: A basic, F-rank “Junker Zoid”, Marcus had it outfitted with two boosters attached near the bases of the legs. Because it is a bipedal Zoid, running is made easier for Marcus, thus increasing it’s battle capabilities in close-range combat. The red splotches of paint that were scratched and torn off after years of experience were repainted a bright, sapphire blue by Marcus, and was recently given a new coat of wax. Nicknaming it “Vee”, a one letter acronym for “victory”, Marcus believes this one Zoid will get him through thick and thin.
Offense:
Close Range: Attacks from very close, with claws, blades, small arms, etc.
Strong against long range, weak against medium range.
Defense:
Speed: Your Zoid moves so fast, it's hard to hit unless taken by surprise.
Strong against Armor, weak against Stealth.
Strategy:
Reckless: Always attacks all out with full force, powered by the user's spirit.
Strong against Cautious, weak against Tactical.
Callsign: Banyuu, meaning "reckless valor".
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Height: 6’2’’
Weight: 187 lbs.
