Tai and his zoid were on the stage waiting for his opponent. He played with the controls of his command wolf. He didn't even know the zoid his opponent would be using but he didn't care enough to worry. He would have to beat anyone placed in front of him. His gray eyes weren't blocked by his googles yet. He adjusted his gloves though. "Lets Go where's my opponent."

[Well, of course, how silly of me. Next time, though, dearest, try to remember to post something along the lines of 'Tai vs. such and such'. It'll help a bundle in avoiding conundrums such as this. I'll delete my post then. :3
And one more little tip, dearest; do try to avoid using chatspeak. If you get into the practice of writing words out, it helps a good deal.
Fare thee well~!] [/blockquote]

( MODERATION )
Once again, I cannot stress this enough.
NO OOC CHATTER IN THE IC BOARDS.
You get posts when you post here, and it's not fair to benefit from those stupid one-liners. If you have a discussion or argument, take it to the discussion board or PMs. I'm deducting posts from all of you to compensate. Only staff can post OOCly since it's required, and we have the ability to reduce our post counts.
As for the 3-day rule, yes, it applies to every battle. You were notified, Tyro, when you read the rules. Signups clearly stated that registration would end on the 24th, and on the 24th I posted a message saying that battles would begin starting June 1. I also put it in the news fader. You're only in a max of 4 threads at once, so it's not hard to keep track of them.
Tai had the right to declare this match won. He could have either a) gotten a mod to immediately post and lock it, or b) posted his exit and gotten moderation later, if neither of us were around. Posting an one-liner OOC post is NOT an acceptable form of victory, though.
Honestly, I could go either way on this one, letting Tyro fight or not, since you both broke the rules. I put the 3-day rule there in case people went inactive, so their opponents wouldn't have to just flouder and wait forever. Since Tyro is here, and just missed the ball, I'm going to let him fight. Have at it. You don't have another 3 days though.
Tai, ICly, your character is still sitting there. He could have left, but he hasn't. If Tyro doesn't post by midnight tomorrow, though, my time, you win. Post an IC exit post and request moderation. It's currently 10:10 PM my time, for reference to yours.
EDIT: Also, I'm deducting posts for the OOC posting. Not much, but more than you gained from doing it. No reason to feel guilty anymore.

Tyro and his Dark Horn would clamber into the Tournament Ground steadily. He didn't press any exertion on the Zoid, saving all energies for the later fight. As he entered he saw his opponent, and though the tournament holder's gave him a brief description of the name of the pilot and the Zoid he was up against Tyro felt much better when he saw the Zoid. The Command Wolf, in comparison to Tyro's Dark Horn was very feeble in Tyro's opinion.
For the fight, Tyro had packed extra as his teachings always told him to. His missles and cannons were primed as he stared down the enemy Zoid, but most importantly the Hybrid Vulcan Gatling was primed and ready, powering up to fire. After advancing so the Zoids were barely a football fields length away, Tyro positioned and waited for the Command Wolf's move.

Tai sighed as his opponent finally entered. He decided he was going to have fun with this battle. He waited long enough so hopefully it would be worthwhile. He pressed down on the controls and shot his zoid's gun at the dark horn. Hopefully he could take it out quickly.

"Not a chance...." Tyro muttered under his breath as the Zoid's gun fired. At the same time, he pulled his Zoid to the right of the incoming fire, and though his Zoid was slower than most, the shots missed easily. As the shots went by he quickly re-angled himself and then fired the Hybrid Vulcan Gatling gun to the Command Wolf. He didn't expect the simple fire to hit, but the battle had to start heating up.

Tai moved the zoid to the side and ran towards the rhino. It wanted to play then it would be playing the game of it's life. When it was close enough it leaped into the air and aimed for the rhino's face. It was aimed for the side hoping to knock the rhino off it's feet. Even if it was only for a second.

Tyro's Vulcan Gatling would continue to fire even after the initial miss, though the shots would only trail behind the Command Wolf. Tyro knew this game. The more experienced pilot would know more moves, and so as the Command Wolf neared the Dark Horn's face, the Dark Horn would move slightly away from the incoming, as though it were fleeing, but as the Command Wolf jumped, Tyro's Zoid's head would pivot quickly to the side of the airborne Command Wolf, were it would strike the Command Wolf's head and cockpit. It was always nearly impossible to dodge in the air of course.

The command wolf did have another arm. It swung at the face trying to take it off the aim of it's target. Then fired shots trying to finish off this battle now. He really needed this win more then anything. His eyes were watching for something to do. He played out a few scenarios in his head and they all had him winning so he was pretty confident in that fact. So their was nothing else for him to think about.

Tyro saw the Zoid's movement with the paw, and took it into consideration. He decided through the kind of mental thinking a person is unaware of, that his Zoid was the heavier Zoid. Already he could see that the opponent was less built than him, which meant that if it came to a power struggle, Tyro was shoo in. As the Zoid came down, even with his other paw, Tyro angled down, and then up, aiming for his Crusher Horn to gouge through the bottom of the Command Wolf. At the same time, Tyro's Hybrid Vulcan would fire at the same time as the Command Wolfs the weapons likely colliding. This was only a distraction though, as the underchin laserbeam also fire from its concealed position.
