Tai smiled as he looked at the pteras took it's eye off of the opponent which is a big mistake. He fired a round at the wings. It was a perfect shot. The pilot was too concentrated on Jager to remember that he was coming for it. His spot in the trees were perfect as well. Once the rounds were fired he moved his spot so he could continue the shooting. She wanted to take advantage of her flight he would take advantage of his speed and reflexes in his zoid.

Jager watched as the Lion did it's radical movements to avoid being shot. It wasn't necessary though. Jager knew better than to expect any of the shots to hit it. This man was an experienced pilot and on top of that he was a skilled tactician. Probably more skilled than Jager himself. His tactical powess would definitely be the thing to keep him going in this fight. However, it wouldn't be enough to help him win. One way to defeat a knight is to force him to move out and begin it's attack. Unaware of the odds. He'll use this man's tactical prowess back at him.
As expected. Well, almost anyway. He was hoping to see the Lion's frontal blade but this was good enough. As the Saber-Lion drew near, the Wolf stood his ground. Just as it approached the cockpit, a purple flash intercepted it's rush and the Wolf's shield held strong, stopping the attack where the Lion stood. After a split second he deactivated the shield and quickly lunged his head forward with a bite to the Lion's legs.

OOC: Now to explicate my actions just incase there were blurred in your opinion, my right mitt was the appendage used to strike you. The shield you used stopped my attack; however my paw was sliding off its surface, not because it was dicey, but because I intended it to. Now was your lowered your shield, I would fall off and be back on the ground, then you attempted to lunge at my legs? However I’m quite sure that you could only get on at a time since you only have one mouth, since my leg was on the ground and back towards its original position, you couldn’t clutch a full grip, however a lissome or a abrasion is more conceivable. Now I’d assume that your head would be lowered since you made an attempt to strike my lowest extremity. And if I’m correct, My High Friction Blade would knick on side since your closer to my head-section. Now I pulled back ,not too far to create a large gap, but enough to supplement my subsequent attack which was to use the left side blade to smack into the other side of the Command Wolf’s face.
One would think that Ryûsuke’s frontal assault would prove futile in the end. However this wasn’t the case at all, with every move made by the tactical Genius, there was interpretation behind it. Another key factor was that Ryûsuke only used his weakest bludgeon as opposed to the others that were hosted in his array of close-ranged apparatus. While rushing towards the stationed Command Wolf, Ryûsuke made note to dismantle a certain object on the exterior of the Command Wolf, not obscured by anything, it was palpable that this Wolf Familiar was equipped with a Shield Generator and that tool could prove efficient in the near future. The question was however, how long would it take for that tool to be ruined?
Now pressing its energy Claw down onto the frame of the Command Wolf, the perfectly executed attack was halted by a mauve luminosity, and soon Ryûsuke smirked as his suspensions were factual, Jager had indeed installed a functional Energy Shield. Its Paw pressed against the Shield’s façade, Ryûsuke had already taken emergency precautions prier to entering the attack phase as the Saberlion’s Limb gradually began to slide off its surface. Before falling reaching the ground, the shield dispersed and soon the weight of the Zoid forced it the ground, and as it did so, Ryûsuke noticed the Command Wolf taking to the offense. Pressing a few buttons, the Blades that resided on the head of the Saberlion flapped outwards as the Fangs of the Command Wolf scraped against the lowering leg. Due to its positioning lowered in attempts to completely sink its fangs into the Lion’s Leg, the right Blade which soon began to shined a bright white would most likely hammer against the Command Wolf’s Skull, and while doing so, The Saberlion would pull back slightly and lunged forward and soon flounce the left blade into the side of the Command Wolf’s face. Due to the current circumstances, it would most likely land a direct hit, however only time could tell.
Edited: Added in my explanation above.

Velvet didn't even notice the attack from the enemy Command Wolf. She focused her attention on the battle between Jager and the Saber-Lion. It wouldn't matter though. She was way too high for the wolf's AZ Cannon to be of any use. The projectile slowed and dispersed into bits of energy. Meanwhile, Velvet readied her bombing unit for a pass at the Saber-Lion. "Sorry, bro. But i'm not gonna pass up a chance like this." The metal pincers holding the bombs in place snapped open and released three bombs. In a straight line they fell, heading for the Saber-Lion. She passed over-head just before the bombs were about to impact. "Careful, bro!"
