<.< Once again, questioning this thread: zoidsbrawl.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=plains&thread=389&page=1For clarification, we both ran off in a circle. He ran the left side of the circle, I ran the right. At the point of clarification-needing, we are both facing each other head on at the very top of the circle and about to smash together when he fires his thing. He fires a flash grenade at my face and jumps to use his Strike Claws. I jump to the left and fire right side missiles (AKA firing right towards his middle with the appropriate distance chance and side usage). From there, it goes blarg lol

The way I read it, you jumped and moved in the 1.5 seconds it took for the flashbangs to go off:
As soon as his mind registered that something had been launched from the opposing Zoid, Azler slammed on his controls and using his hands, immediately did two things: The first thing was to slam the Liger’s right paw down to the ground as hard and fast as it could, effectively launching Aegis to the left. The second was to open the side missile compartments and fire them in retaliation. Though the warrior did know that Caleb was merely attempting to blind him, Azler’s only thought was of an assault and thus these two motions were designed for that; the jump to the left side a dodge from the incoming “fire“, and the activation of the missiles a retaliation to the "attack".
All of the shanananana about his reaction time - I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and assumed he COULD move that fast. Which is fine. He merely misread my statement of how my actions took place.
I altered my course here:
He adjusted his Glow Fox's movements, concealed by the light. in the post before his. My movements, took place AFTER the Flashbangs went off, specifically so they would be hidden. Coupled with the fact that they were moving in a circular pattern, and my flashbang attack was fired only partially through that circle, I cut through part of it, here:
He turned, so he was moving sharply at the Shield Liger... the claws glowing brightly with the power of a strike laser claw.
If he fired before the flashbangs, then they would be fired at where I had been. If he fired AFTER the flashbangs, it would still be at where I had been [ or even where I would be at the time had I remained in the semicircle ], but trajectory, and my statement of when I turned to cut through the circle would put me in neither of those places.
However, since he jumped left, that would force MY trajectory to change as well - I was going to come at an angle to hit his front right side. With the added distance of a leftward jump, I'd have to hit his back leg, not his front leg, considering that I could still see, thanks to the flash-shielding.
That's... pretty much it. I thought it was cut and dry, which was why I did not really do anything OTHER than let my previous attack remain relatively the same - with the added side effect of gripping with my claws to make sure I stayed on his ass - literally.
I apologize if I made the scene a little too zoid-pornographic, though, with the attempt to more or less mount the shield liger. ><;

Lol, Zoid Rule 34, in the literary version.
Alright, alright, this was extremely helpful, I'm going to have all parties post their explanation in a thread EVERY time now. You both did well.
So the problems, from what I remember, were that
1.) Jumping, the glow fox would hit the missile pod as it aims for the back leg.
2.) There was an adjustment to the attack made in a previous post by the later post, for the Glow Fox.
First, I do believe that there was an attack in Caleb's 2nd to last post. A strike laser claw was declared. He didn't say, though, that it was a leaping one, and that his zoid was airborn. A slight tradjectory change would be possible within the next post, if needed. There are the missiles, though.
As with regards to the missile pod blocking the attack, the Liger jumped to the left. Therefore, the attack is coming at an angle no matter what. The pods are small and only stick out about half the zoid's height in distance, the Glow Fox would avoid them no problem.
With regards to the movement, I'm going to allow it, with the stipulation that Caleb should probably be more definite in his post whether or not he's actually launching an attack. Just a minor criticism, nothing I haven't done personally myself many times. He didn't mention the missiles though, which wouldn't be affected by visual, radio, and radar interference. Here's my moderation.
Both attacks are good. However, either they both hit, or neither of them do. The Glow Fox can dodge most of or all of the missiles if it tries hard enough and is clever, but to do so it would have to entirely abandon its attack on the Liger's back leg. To get that attack to hit, he will have to just charge through the missiles somehow.
Any questions/concerns can be brought up on this thread. Tell me if I missed anything, since I had a 24 hour break between reading and moderating this.
EDIT: Also, one of you is somehow stretching out the board in this thread, could possibly be a signature thing. If you notice the same thing in any of your other threads, without the other party involved, please try to fix your signature somehow.
