Personality: Bryan's a pretty laid-back, friendly guy. Gets along well with almost anybody, difficult to get riled up. Not really level-headed per se, more like he doesn't really care much what other people say about him. On the other hand, there is one thing he cannot tolerate, and can occasionally get pissed off about: intolerance or bigotry, from anyone and for any reason. He makes it clear to anyone with whom he fights that if for any reason they should behave intolerantly towards anyone, he will shoot them in the back at the first opportunity, without hesitation or regret.
History:
Having grown up in Tempstown, a relatively large city, Bryan has been around Zoids most of his life, and he grew up hearing the old stories of the long-ago wars. As a child, he always identified more with the Empire, for no other reason than because he liked their Zoids better - Especially the GenoSaurer, whose destructive power was legendary, though irrelevant to Bryan - He just thought it was a badass Zoid.
Tempstown is, unfortunately, the playground of a number of Zoid gangs, the most notorious of which were the Sand Stingrays. When Bryan was a boy, the gangs were different but the attitude was exactly the same. Bryan had left for schooling in Romeo City, and when he returned one day he found that the bar owned by his parents had been trashed when a Zoid belonging to one of the local gangs had crashed into it.
His father had lost the use of both legs, and soon died. His mother sold the bar and found a job, buying a small apartment across the city.
Bryan's father had owned an Anti-Zoid rifle, a hefty .50cal weapon he used to keep the hooligans out of his bar. Stealing the rifle while his mother was at work, he carefully tracked down the owner of the Zoid, then set a trap, causing his Zoid's leg to buckle. When the guy stepped out of the cockpit to survey the damage, Bryan blew his head off with the rifle from 50 meters away.
Not long after having done this, Bryan dropped out and disappeared. He resurfaced several years later, piloting an aging second-hand GunSniper.
His combat style is primarily long range, and he gained a reputation as an excellent sniper. Eventually, the barely-operational GunSniper was laid aside in favor of a brand-new EvoFlyer. Moreover, his style changed - though it remains his specialty, he has shown himself less exclusively reliant on long-range combat with the EvoFlyer than he used to with the GunSniper - a necessity, as the EvoFlyer lacks the GunSniper's extremely accurate long-range sniper rifle.
He looks at it as a challenge, and relishes the chance to improve his skills.
Along the way, he also acquired a .45cal handheld pistol, and a compact sniper rifle, and excels at the use of both weapons. The rifle is almost always in his cockpit, and he usually carries the handgun on a leather holster on his belt, in plain sight.
