Smooth and spirited. Those two words are practically the summation of who Nick is. Ever since his years as a child, he has always been one with a high energy and spirit to do whatever he had to. He could easily set a goal and understands how to work to achieve his goals. He was surrounded by a working class, so it was practically in his blood. Perhaps, not having a father around led to his motivation as well. A heart to be a better person and man.
His smoothness is something simply observed with his skills as an orator. He can easily talk his way into anyone's heart, mind, or stomach with his vivid words at times. He rarely gets caught in the act of anything, he is just a smooth criminal.
History:
Nick was born in Blue City, an advanced and highly technological city. His father left the family at his birth and he was left to be raised by his mother and his older brother. His mother was in her late thirties at his birth and already had two other children. His sister and brother, were born a year apart and were both in their twenties; his sister twenty-one and brother twenty. His older city was already moved out and working as a nurse in Blue City Region Hospital. Her dreams were more career focused, unlike his brother's who was working as a Zoid Mechanic.
His mother worked two jobs to keep the house stable. Nick's father left and divorced his mother at his birth, leaving the family financially crushed. Working two jobs left Nick in the constant care of his brother. He spent, practically, his entire life involved at the Zoid Shop and factory in which his brother worked. Spending so much time in the location left a great impression on what Nick wanted to do with his life. His mother always hoped her son would be more like his sister and get a real career like being a doctor, or lawyer.
Unfortunately by the age of thirteen his decision was made and he wanted to become a Zoid Pilot. Being from a middle-class household, raising the money for a Zoid was practically a dream and non-existent. However, he took the initiative and became a chore boy for where his brother was employed. He cleaned the Zoids, constructed kits, kept the factory clean, ordered, stocked, etc. This was his job for his teenage years, luckily the Zoid Pilots taught Nick the ins and out of Zoids during his chore work.
At the age of seventeen he raised a portion of the money for the Zoid, unfortunately he was no where near the necessary amount. It was a faithful Friday morn, when a man came for an emergency repair and cleaning of his Zoid. As the story obviously seems to go, the wealthy pilot donated a Zoid to the young hopeful, Nick Serri. That is how he received his first Zoid and why he is now out trying to make a name for himself as a pilot.
