Zoid: Zabat Evolution (ZEVO - Pronounced: Zee-Voh)



Status: Upgrade/Custom/Recolor - This Zabat is White on the bottom (To blend with the sky), but a Browish Green Color on the Top, acting like Fighter Camoflauge Note, this Zoids sprite would be exactly the same from the angle you see it from, due to how the weapons are stacked on the Zoid. However, recolors aren't reflected with sprites per the rules, they're reflected in profiles.

Rank: Starting Rank F - Destination Rank should be C. Will be my Zoid when reaching Rank C.

Description: The Zabat Evolution is an attempt to make the Zabat a serious contender for the Middle Ranks. The Zabat Evolution is truly a unique Zoid, because it's so much different.

Weapons:

Hyper Killer Claws (2) - Stock
Homing Bomb (2 Launchers/Zoid) - Replaced with Carpet Bombs. Downgrade overall in loss of homing.
145mm Laser Gun (2) - Stock

Equipment:

Doppler Radar (2) - Stock
Magnesser Wings - Stock
Infrared Scope - Replaced with Low Power Radiation Scope - Where there is a lack of picture (white spot) return is where a Zoid is.

Upgrades: (Overall)

Replaced Infared Scope with Low Power Radiation Scope
Energy Shield (Class D Upgrade)
3 Armor Upgrades (Instead of Speed, Stealth, and Armor - Reinforced in Various Areas. Class D Upgrade)
Dual Missle Pods - (Offset by loss of Homing on the Dual Bomb Launchers. (Class C Upgrade)
Buster Cannon Underside (Class C Upgrade, instead of Statistics upgrades. Identical to Buster Eagle's Cannons, except shorter, and inside the Belly of the Zabat where concealed, not changing the look.)



Offense: 95% of the time, the Zoid attacks from long Range, it's it's type. But sometimes, it uses it's Sonic Booms to knock a Zoid off Balance to attack. Naturally, on these passes, it attacks Physically when it's safe to do so.

Defense: Speed. Nuff Said.

Strategy: Cautious

Few notes!

1.) If you get rid of the bombs' homing, that's a downgrade. If you make them carpet bombs, though, which means they have a large spread, that is an upgrade, and the two cancel out. I'm going with carpet bombs, so it doesn't change rank at all, up nor down.

2.) Scope change is fine, no rank affect.

3.) Speed/Stealth/Armor and Shield upgraded, that bumps it up to D rank.

4.) Addition of the dual Buster Cannons, that upgrades it to C rank.

5.) Now here's the tricky part. You say missile pods in the upgrades, but it's not listed in the weapons. if you want to add missile pods in addition to the buster cannons, that will put it in the very low B ranks. There are several ways around this.
- Remove the missile pods.
- Remove one of the buster cannons, and have only a single one (which makes it more believable that it will be conceiled in the body.
- Work in a flaw to the overall design.

For either the removal of the missiles or one buster cannon, you don't need to wait for another approval, this will be enough. If you are adding a flaw, then post here once more and I'll take another look.
