Personality: Shizuka is extremely calm, even at the most inopportune times, which leads some people to believe that she is relatively emotionless. While that's not exactly true, it does serve as quite an accurate description of her for the most part. She can also think quickly and usually outside the box, but she doesn't share her thoughts unless she really trusts the person in question. Furthermore, Shizuka prefers to analyze a person thoroughly before approaching them, just to give herself a slight advantage. Finally, she always appear to be reading when outside of a zoid battle, which leads many to believe that her only hobbies are zoids, and books.
History: Shizuka grew up in bandit's camp in a desert, where her parents and other members of the group hijack cargo from passer-by merchants. Since the camp was in a remote region of the desert, plus the fact that they move the camp every other week makes it extremely difficult to pinpoint. So, growing up in such an environment made Shizuka quite capable in desert warfare. When she was 13, she participated in her first mission in a stolen Guysak (she did not pilot it though, just sat in the co-pilot cockpit and observed). It was a huge success, and it was from that day forward that Shizuka participated in most of the raids as a secondary pilot.
At age 15, the group disbanded as the leaders are getting old and does not think that this life is suited for themselves anymore. That, plus the lack of younger generations made it incredibly tough to effectively plan the raids. That year, Shizuka moved to Arcadia Town with her parents, and it was there that she started her life as a mercenary. Shizuka, at first, just accepts small jobs, but once she starts to get used to solo battling, she took on larger jobs and has a pretty decent success rate. At the age of 16, she decided to leave Arcadia to see the world. After a few months of wandering, she decided to stop by Romeo City to stock up on supplies, and maybe get a few battles for practice. Furthermore, finding company for travel is on her mind also, as it's much safer than traveling solo.
