He was about to start ranting into a question of why did everybody call him Fly Boy. But instead, he gave her a name to work with.
"Jack Thunder." He said, with a shrug.
"Average first name, I suppose."

Shizuka smirked at his reaction, especially when she said the words 'fly boy'. Well, that's something to take note of, particularly if she actually wants to annoying him again for some reason. After taking another short pause, she responded, "Yes, average in all sense of the word. Not necessarily a bad thing though." She stretched lazily and declared to no one in particular, "That's enough of a break, let's go back to work."

Smiling, he began to shuffle through papers a bit more, before he noticed that he had an extra member application form for Sigma. Puzzled, he had already filled out three, so he must have picked up an extra when he went by the office. Blinking, he looked over to her.
"Hey, I've got a question, what Team are you a part of?"

The response from Shizuka was just looking at him quizzically, wondering what in the world he would want, or need that information for. Deciding to answering straight out this time around, she answered, although somewhat warily, "Currently in no teams, why do you ask?"

He thought about it for a second, then figured, 'What the hell, it doesn't really matter anyway, didn't seem like she was a hard person to stand, and a Guysak would definitely help the team. He took the small, three page packet, and slid it over her way.
"If you want to, that is." He said, shrugging lightly. He went back to his paperwork, smiling slightly. "You're perfectly welcome to join the team, and besides, we need a fourth anyway to make the team significantly official."

The answer that he got was just a smirk, followed by, "Kind of forward, are you not? Fine, I will join, been looking for a group to travel with anyways." Shizuka then silently thought to herself, 'Besides, you owe me some cash for helping you with this, and adding the mercenary fee means that I am going to tag along with you for a while until I get the full payment.'
Finally finishing up her last page of the form, she looked at him and plainly said, "All done here, just awaiting for you to finish up."

He smiled, straightening his stack of papers against the table. He slid them into a binder he had carried, before looking to her form. Since she was done, he simply closed her form and slid it into the appropriate place in the binder. He closed the rings, before putting it under his arm.
"I'm surprised, you didn't even ask about what kind of base we had."

Shrugging slightly, Shizuka responded, "Does it really matter though? Although I am willing to bet that if you had a say in it, it would probably be an aerial base, am I correct?" That assumption was not entirely baseless either, since if he was the one who filled the form, then he probably has the most say in the matters within the members. Standing up from her seat, she asked, "Either way, care to show me the base?"

"Damn, you're good." He said, smiling lightly. "I'm quite surprised you even guessed that, most people don't." He said with a chuckle.
"But sure, why not, but I have to drop these papers off, so unless you want to come with, then, I can give you the place we'll launch from later today, and meet you there?" He asked.

Shizuka nodded in his direction and replied, "All right, just give me the time and place and I shall meet you there." Taking out her book again, she said nonchalantly again, "Oh, and remember the little fee that we agreed on when we started working on the forms? I will have that ready as well next time."

"Watch it be something amazingly high that you refer to as little." He chuckled, before writing down the time and place on a small card of paper, and handed it to her.
"We're going to have to take time to load up and all, so it's no real hurry, we don't have any scheduled battles or anything, so we're good."

Taking the piece of paper, Shizuka just walked away while reading her book again. As she left though, this time, her thoughts are more focused on this conversation rather than the contents of her novel. Although no matter how the rest of this day goes, it has been an interesting one to say the least.
