A custom colored Saberlion walked into the large open area. The desert , being bare wouldn't have obstacles for the zoid to maneuver around, making it easier for the novice zoid pilot. Suzumi hope she could hold her own doing this battle with this guy. It seems that he was also part of the Black Knights too. But she never met him, until now.
Suzu gave a small sigh as she waited for him to show up. She tried to remeber what Rose had as weapons. The zoid was a close-range one and she didn't have any guns on her, giving her speed. So the Saberlion had it's natural defenses for her, fangs, claws, and the three blades around the face. That was all the zoid needed to do damage.
"I hope I don't lose horribly Rose..."
The girl said quietly to her mecanical beast, who gave a small growl in response.

Yes! A battle, Demetri and his Command Wolf would dash through the desert trail. They both were overly excited about the battle and wanted to get it on as soon as possible, but unfortunately they were a little late and had to kick it in gear to make up the wasted time. The Command Wolf would gallop through the brownish sand as it neared the battle location that both pilots had agreed on. What made it even better was that he was fighting someone from his own team, Demitri saw this as a chance to prove himself and show he was a good asset to the team, not to mention that he was interested in meeting the girl he was supposed to battle, he heard she was a looker.
One large jump later and the Command Wolf would land in the desert plain where the Saberlion awaited, nothing like making an entrance. If anyone was able to see into the cockpit of the Command Wolf they would see the enormous smile that covered Demitri's face. He was like a kid in a candy store, battling was a passion for him seeing as it always keep him excited, it never bored him. Hopefully the girl would share at least a little of the same excitement Demitri had as he prepared himself, taking one last look over his Command Wolf's system to make sure everything was functioning at 100% efficiency.
"Good luck cutie."
Before Demitri even gave the girl a chance to introduce herself he had prepared as the Judge capsule would rocket down from the sky. Oh boy was it on, Demitri' s body itching with excitement as he would wait to hear those beautiful words the judge always spit out when the fun was about to begin. The front of the capsule would slowly open as the steam would exit the base. The judge taking a good look over the area, making sure that only the two combatants occupied the battle area.
"Area scanned. Battle mode 0992 approved. Battlefield set. Ready?! Fight!"
But of course, being the "gentlemen" that he was, Demitri couldn't simply rush in on the young lady and attack, plus he also wanted to see what she had to offer, he was gonna go all out and he didn't wanna have to pull any punches for some stupid reason. This was a serious battle like any other and he would treat it as such.
"Ladies first cutie."

A large blush came across Suzu's face as he called her 'cutie' over the COM Link. She was even more nervous than before, thanks to his comment. She quietly shut off the COM with her opponent. Now she would have a hard time concentrating. She looked at his zoid, that was on the other side of the battle field. It was a standard Command Wolf, complete with guns, versus her Saberlion, which had no guns at all, which makes up for it with speed.
"Okay, I can do this..."
She said to herself to build up confidence. Now it was time for Rose to dance. Moving the controllers forward, slightly, the mechanical beast stalk forward, like a cat that that had spotted it's prey. Then the Saberlion went from a walk to a full on run, quickly towards the Command Wolf. Large qualities of sand was thrown behind the zoid. Doing this, the front left leg of the Saber began to glow slowly, traveling downward as it got closer. It looked as if Suzu was going for the head on approach, but that was wrong.
Instead, she jumped over the wolf and made a sharp turn. It might had slowed down the Saber, but she was still fast, closing in behind the zoid as it went to slice it's energy induced claws across the Command Wolf's right hind leg.
