I would like some moderation for my opponents previous action in this thread. We have not been able to work our or differences in opinon regarding what is physically possible, and what is not.
This is a copy/paste of what i sent my opponent regarding his move:
I do think it bears mentioning that you are a rank D pilot with a DOWNGRADED low caliber machine gun and a host of pilot stats (close combat, reckless, etc) that do not lend themselves towards effectively shooting down a missile.
I also find it hard to believe that your would hit the exact critical part of a missile to cause a detonation of the warhead instead of simply destroying the missile, but I'm wiling to let that one go because battles are random like that. However, it is also worth mentioning that most missiles fly at high enough speeds to outrun the explosion of another missile fired at the same time, so one missile destroying the other is pretty unlikely.
Missiles have a pretty long range as well, and since I made it clear that i was back at at distance firing them, i find it hard to believe that two missiles destroyed in mid air (remember that most clouds of smoke are caused by the missiles actually hitting something and causing debris to be thrown into the air) could cover a distance of multiple miles with their limited debris.
If you shoot something, that means its in front of you. So when you shot and detonated the missiles, the explosion would have happened in front of your zoid, sending you BACKWARDS, not forwards. In order to obtain the forward boosting effects you described, the missile would have needed to explode behind your zoid, which means that you couldn't have been shooting at it with your guns since it wasn't in front of you(and remember, since missiles are guided, they'd hit you and detonate before they got behind you).
Just another note about acceleration, since your zoid was starting at a full stop, it would need to build up speed to take off, and even then would take quite a while to accelerate to its maximum speed
----
Aside from that, I believe my opponent has been over estimating the capabilites of his zoid due to the fact that it is modified(despite the fact that is is a heavy shield liger with a jet on its back, he plays it as extremely maneuverable and fast) and doesnt have concrete stats because of the generalization of said modification. But basically, as a D rank zoid, i think its a little too much with its current presentation.
He is also pulling RP actions that i believe are more inductive of a higher level pilot, rather than that of a D rank pilot, but thats less important that the other stuff.
