Looking for a challenge

Jonny walked into the club with a smile on his face, this was the place one had to go if they wanted to challenge someone to a fight, instead of just waiting for the ZBC to give them one. He sat down, and ordered himself a cool fanta.
"Well lets see - now that I've got a team and everything, I'm gonna need more Team points and money to keep going. And to get those I need to win more battles. But the ZBC is just starting to get going and all, so things are slow."
He then slammed down the bottle so hard everyone turned their eyes on him, "YO! ANYONE UP FOR A BATTLE?"

Max himself had already been in the club, the youth deciding to enjoy some iced tea after fixing up some guy's zoid. He decided not to charge the guy, since the job was extremely minor and the guy looked like he didn't need any more expenses anyways. He smiled, sipping from the cold glass and admiring the flavor.

He wasn't one of the people who turned their eyes on him once the one known as Jonny slammed a bottle onto a table, the youth not particularly caring for such acts. But then the boy initiated a challenge. He smirked, taking another sip from his iced tea before setting it down and cooly walking over to his table.

"A battle, eh? I hope you mean a Zoids battle," spoke Max in a tone that expressed how interested he was. He flicked his cerulean hair back as he awaited an answer from the boisterous youth.

Jonny looked at the blue haired boy who walked up to him - the guy looked not much older than Jonny, maybe a year at most.
Finishing his drink in one final gulp, Jonny responded, "Yeah, thats right - zoids battle. Battle mode 0992, one on one. Though I also have a special 'other' condition. Loser joins the winners team. Think your up for it?" He asked smiling. If the boy in front of him said yes then something interesting could follow.

[/b] Max smirked, loving the thought of getting to use the Houndsoldier. Although it was weaker than most other Houndsoldiers in terms of condition and armament, Max still enjoyed piloting it. And his loyal Zoid kept itself together because it wanted Max to use it. Or so Max thinks.

"So, where we fightin'?" he questioned, though it didn't really matter to him. He had fought on various terrain, so he was up for anywhere aside from the sea. Though hardly any constant participants used sea-based Zoids. [/ul][/ul][/font]

Jonny raised an eyebrow, odd that his soon-to-be opponent be so careless in asking where they'd battle. No doubt someone like this had a landbased zoid, Jonny just couldn't see blue hair staying off the ground for five seconds let along an entire battle - just didn't fit him. So why not make it slightly fair for both of them?
"The Deep Crater is where. Consider why for yourself, but I'll see you there tomorrow in the morning."
He then got out of his chair, and began to leave, before he decided to play a little trick on his opponent. He pulled over the barkeep saying, "The guy with the blue hair is paying for everyone here." Before leaving for his base.

[/b] responded Max, gladly accepting the challenge. After all, it had been awhile since he last participated in a fight. He grinned, starting his way to the door to go fix up his Houndsoldier for the battle, but he found himself being called by the barkeep. Turning to face the man who called him with a look of curiosity on his face, he pointed to himself.

"Me?" he questioned almost childishly, the barkeeper nodding then calling him over. It was then he realized what his future opponent had pulled. He would explain himself and pay for his iced tea before running off. Now he definitely planned to beat this guy.
