WHAT IS AN NPC?
NPC stands for Non-Player Character. These are the kind of people you see wandering through town or fighting against you in battle when playing video games. They usually don't have names, aren't specific or have any backstory, and will not be missed if they are destroyed. The large majority of the time, they are opponents in battle that can be defeated more readily than other players.
RULES OF NPCS
- Members can post minor NPC characters in their own threads as needed. These can be soldiers, bystanders, shopkeepers, etc. They cannot participate in battle or pilot zoids.
- Members can post as NPCs in other threads if they get staff permission. That member's character may not be in the thread they are NPCing for. They may only use F-level zoids in unorganized battles, without judges, rules, or prize money to be gained. There is a maximum of 3 NPC zoids per thread using this method.
- Members are allowed to create Jobs and Missions. They have to NPC for the job/mission themselves, and can use any zoids they want in it. They have to list those out in the mission description, however, since a staff will have to approve it before letting other members accept it. See "Job/Mission Rules" for more details.
- Game Masters are the most common NPCers. See "Staff Jobs" for more information.
PERMANENT NPCS
Teams have the option of purchasing NPC warriors to pilot extra zoids into battle for them. These NPCs will be controlled by the Team Leader, and have the full range of abilities of a normal character. They are only allowed in the thread where the Team Leader currently is, though.
