Personal Theme
Appearance: Reven has light blonde hair and dark green eyes. He stands in at 5’11 tall.
Personality:
True to his nickname of “Pyro” (Which ended up becoming his callsign), Reven acts fiery and aggressive in the cockpit, but uses that mask to fool potential listeners. Preferring to lead from the front, Reven attacks with his troops at his side, and does not hesitate to charge forward to draw the enemy’s attention from any friends around him. However, he does prefer to think on the battlefield, and maneuver with his teammates to surround an enemy. As a former Soldier, Reven also, while having a slight sense of honor (and humor), does not stifle himself with just focusing on honor. To him, a mission must be completed, and if it requires dirty tactics…so be it.
History: Born somewhere in the current Guylos Empire, Reven was raised in a military environment as he was born on a military base. Being a “Military Brat”, Reven often grew up with his parents away on deployment. However, his parents didn’t instill the overly patriotic tones that most children had acquired. Both his father and mother had wanted Reven to think first, and act second. To fit in with his friends and classmates while he was at school, Reven acted like the traditional overly patriotic child, but maintained this mask so he could distract others. After all, if someone writes you off as being reckless and foolish, it allows you to slip up behind them does it not?
Upon graduating from school, Reven almost at once signed up with the military, continuing the family tradition. As he was considering making a career out of the military, he was involved in a large scale wargame, where the Guylos military and the Helic Military had several mock battles to commemorate the end of the various wars between the two superpowers.
During this action, Reven got separated from his team and was attempted to rejoin them when he encountered a flying Helic Zoid. Somewhat amusingly, they had seen each other at the same time. Reven opened fire, and managed to score a hit on the zoid first. However, while he was the first to hit his target, the airborne zoid ended up crashing into his as well…knocking them both out of the fight. Helping his foe out of the cockpit, Reven ended up meeting Sakashi Zeranion for the first time. With them both ending up disabled, and stuck in the middle of the battlefield, the used the larger bulk of Reven’s zoid to shield themselves from any flying shrapnel of the nearby skirmishes. Afterwards, Reven learned that she was the second member of their family to enter the Helic Republic forces, with her older brother having entered before her. However, he had vanished just before she had joined up, which meant that he didn’t know about her joining the military (She gave the impression he wouldn’t have approved).
After the battle, Reven jokingly said that if she needed backup, just give him a call.
Somewhat surprisingly, he got that exact call. It seemed that Miss Zeranion had gotten in touch with her brother, but he was in a slight amount of trouble. He was involved with a group that had been named the “Backdraft”, and after he got in touch with his sister, he had decided to leave. But Sakashi had felt that this group might cause trouble, and that she had hoped Reven would assist her. Reven decided that it couldn’t hurt. When he asked his commander for a quick leave with his zoid, and his commander had asked why, Reven was forced to explain. To Reven’s surprise, his commanded had nodded, and then explained to him that the Backdraft was fairly new group on the block, but that it could cause problems in the future. Especially as it was thought in the higher circles that the Backdraft Group might actually have its sights set on the Zoids Battle Commission.
Reven was then offered a new mission. To cause damage to the Backdraft group so it couldn’t threaten the Guylos Empire or the peace that it was now enjoying with its neighbors. Reven accepted, and was given a temporary discharge as part of his cover. This would allow him to join the ZBC and move against the Backdraft group out in the open, without having any damaging links to the Empire which might cause diplomatic problems. Reven also knew that he was an expendable asset to the empire, so he could screw up and they would simply say he was not affiliated with them any longer.
Reven assisted Sakashi in ‘retrieving’ her brother from the Backdraft, although Shadow’s Zoid suffered damage to its main weapons in that battle.
After they had escaped from the dustup, Reven had offered both Sakashi and Shadow the chance to form a team in the ZBC, as it offered the greatest protection for all of them now that the Backdraft knew them. They couldn’t rely on any one military, as Reven was Guylos, and Sakashi Helic. It would also grant them the chances to get in the Backdraft’s way if they tried pushing their luck against the ZBC.

Zoid:Dark Horn
Status: Normal
Rank: C-Class
Description: The Dark Horn is the heavier cousin to the mass produced Red Horn, but is more advanced in several ways. Primarily, it sports the massive Hybrid Vulcan cannon, on a rotating turret on the back of the zoid. However, this Hybrid Vulcan is not the only weapon mounted on that turret. That turret also holds the 80 mm Surface to Air Double Barreled Beam Cannon, Beam Launcher, Anti-Zoid 3-Barrelled Linear Cannon, and SSM-Pod (Surface to Surface Missile). The 80mm surface to air double barreled beam cannon, along with the anti-zoid 3-barrelled linear cannon can move vertically independently of the main hybrid Vulcan, which allows for greater tactical use. The other weapons on the Dark Horn include a pair of TEZ 20 mm Linear Laser Guns, which are mounted on the chin of the Dark Horn. Too light to truly be considered dangerous threats to most heavy zoids, these guns never the less are fast firing and useful against light zoids. On the back end of the zoid is a pair of AEZ 20 mm Beam Guns. These are more meant to cover the backside of the Dark Horn from enemy attacks, to help ward off aerial attackers. The final ranged weapon of the Dark Horn is possibly the most horrific; a High Pressure concentrated Sulfuric Acid Powder Cannon. This weapon fires a spray of acid that eats through metal, and is highly painful for a zoid to endure. This weapon is mounted in the mouth of the Dark Horn.
For melee combat, the Dark Horn has the Crasher Horn, which is, not surprisingly, mounted on the nose of the Zoid. Designed to punch through armor and knock lighter zoids sprawling, Reven most often uses the horn to punch holes in walls so he can lessen the lackluster turning ability of the Dark Horn. On the backend of the zoid is the “Smash-Up Tail”. Disliking the name, Reven often shorthand’s it to “Smasher Tail”. Quite simply, it’s a heavy weight tail that balances out the Dark Horn and is useful for knocking a zoid sprawling.
Offense: Attacks from a medium range, with laser rifles, gatlings, etc.
Strong against close range, weak against long range.
Defense: Speed: Your zoid moves so fast, it's hard to hit unless taken by surprise.
Strong against Armor, weak against Stealth.
Strategy: Tactical: Always analyzes the opponent, using their movements against them.
Strong against Reckless, weak against Cautious.
