Jager retreated to his safe haven out in the outskirts of Europa. The streets were crowded. Some kind of memorial was taking place. A memorial ceremony for a formerly important person in a political position in Europa itself. He would've attented the ceremony but he just didn't care. It was a waste of his time. Besides, he didn't know the guy. Why should he care?Viru-his sister-had gone though. He wasn't surprised. She had a warm and passionate heart, while he had a cold heart and lazy ttitude. He was passionate about anything but eating, sleeping and occasionaly Zoid battles. He'd spend his entire day out, just running in his Command Wolf. The Command Wolf's controls felt a little sluggish as it leftthe hangar. He boosted out of the city and headed for the barren outskirt.

Jager kept thinking back on his last battle wth the other Command Wolf. It was very even so he couldn't help but wonder if his Command Wolf might be too weak. He instinctively eyed the inside of the cockpit. Browsing through teh various glowing lights and buttons. 'I might need a new Zoid.' Jager thought. He retuned his attention to the sandy reality in front of him. He forced the Zoid to go faster. Reaching 210 km/h-the Command Wolf's max speed. Jager raised a brow, knowin he was tlking bout replacing the wolf while still in the cockpit.
"What am I thinking," he said. "Zoids dont have emotions!" He laughed at himself for that ridiculous notion. It wa a good thing, otherwise the wolf would've ejected him without hesitation.

Jager's dark eyes shifted to the monitor inches from the controls. A feint beep coming from the radar-monitor signaled an incoming target. A green blip followed the sound right after. It was approaching the center of the monitor at an incredible speed. And it's velocity was only increasing. "Whatever it is, it's nearing Mach 1." He squinted his eyes as he looked back to try and see it. Nothing. Aerial? He grinned a split second before the blue blur wissed past the wolf, rattling it's cockpit and it's pilot. The trailing sand behind it engulfed the wolf. He couldn' se anything until it finally faded from the screen. Looking out he saw the blue streak climbing the sky at speeds close to teh sound barrier. I was gonna stall! Jager opened a com link, "Viru, level it! It's going to stall!"

The blue Petras slowed as it reached the Earth's atmosphere. It angled down and rocketed back down toward the Earth. It's free falling speed could be determined by the distance of the trailing meteorite-like pieces of ice from the zoid itself. Jager's com link still open, a voice broke though. "Streider, help!" The scared Viru panically foced the throttle as many times as possible but it wouldn't start! "Viru, let the throttle go! Stop forcing it!" Viru screamed back doubting her brother's advice, "Are you crazy?! Do you WANT me to die?!" Her voice broke through Jager's com link clear. "Just do it!" Jager roared through the com. sound comign from the falling dinosaur's engines faded. "O.K., done! Now what?"

"Good, now pull bck on thecontols and level it up with the Earth." The Pteras was now less than 2 miles from the gound. It's nose struggled to rise but surely enough it did. It shook from the constant beating of the ramming wind. Jager barked through the com link, b]"Now! Give it everything it has! Force it!"[/b] Viru forced teh throttle. The Pteras' engines cam to life and rocketed it forward nd up, the sudden lurch forward and the torque like feeling sent her like a pancake to the back of her seat. "Woot! Thanks bro! That was too lose for comfort!" The Pteras glided don and came to a stop in front of the Command Wolf. Both cockpits opened and out came Jager screaming and yelling. "What the hell were you thinking?! You could've gotten yourself killed!" He went on and on while Viru simply shrugged and gazed out into nowhere. "Are you listening?!" Viru looked at him with a cute, oblivious expression on her fce.

"Thats it! Your not allowed to fly anymore until I say so," Jager said. Viru, shocked and angry pouted and crossed her arms. She wanted to tell him off but she knew if she did she'd get an even bigger punishment. It was better just to keep her mouth shut. Jager tund and started waling back to his zoid. "You'll stay in your room untill I allow you to leave, got it?" Jager turned to face his sister only to see she was already climbing up her Pteras. "See ya later bro!" Viru shouted obnoxiously. She entered the cockpit and started the engines up. The Pteras lifted gracefully off the sandy earth and turned to make way for the vast desert. "Damn it!" Jager quickly leaped inside the wolf's cockpit and roared the wolf forward. The wolf's mounted double barreled cannon fired and impacted the Pteras' engines. It shook trying to balance itself. Inside the cockpit, Viru pushed the engines to everything they had.

A red flash from the HUD caught Viru's attention. :Oh, no!" She touched the red hologram to reveal two gauges, one reading '40%' and the other reading '70%'. One of the engines was below 50% opporating capacity and the other was heading down the same path. It must've been those shots from the wolf's cannon! They somehow damaged the engines power supply. Not far behind the wolf gained on the Pteras' tail. Seeing this, Viru opted to head for the clouds but a sudden burst from the wolf's cannon made sure to cripple it's wings. It was barely able to stay airborne. It's left wing rattled and was close to falling apart. What the hell was bro doing? Jager was known to take things a litle too seriously but this was crazy! She had no choice, "Stop shooting already! I'm putting her down!" The pteras lowed and came to a stop once again. This tim with battle scars. Jager saw it as a lesson to always obey your older brother. He came out of his cockpit smiling at the cute little mess that was Viru.

"You know you could've killed me, right?" The Command Wolf troted due North along the sand. The blue Pteras being tolld behind it. Its dark, skeletal base scraping along the sandy terrain. [b}"You might want to give your Pteras a good, clean sweep on it's belly,"[/b] Jager replied to Viru's rhetorical question. "It isn't going to be easy to clean all that sand out of the crevices." Viru rolled her eyes at her brothers 'joke'. She looked back to see her Pteras dragged over the sand. "You know what, I think you've suffered enough for one day," Jager said. "Getting your Pteras beat up by your own brother seems like punishment enouh to me." Viru unbuckled herself and leaped on Jager. "Your the most 'awesomess' big bro ever!" Viru replied hugging enough to take the air off him and kissing him on the cheek. Jager smiled, a bit flushed as a result of the kiss. He couldn't stay mad at her. As much as he tried. He did nearly destroy her Pteras after all.

Back at the shop, Jager paced along the locked room. It was fobidden for anyone but him to enter. Filled with holograms and stations with computers that freqently popped up a large amount of data. Pertaining to his 5 year long project. He rapid-fire typed on one of the keyboards and various graphics and graphs appeared on the large screen on the large table in the middle of the room. A giant hologram appeared out of the screen. A large arm and legs. The legs started running on their own, climbing on Zoids and doing various acrobatic and swift manuevers. "O.K.," He said. "So far, so good." He tapped on one of the many hologram buttons and the image faded. His chair went rolling backwards as he climbed out of it. Reaching the doorway the ligts dimmed but the computers stayed on and the various data was still being compiled. 5 years worth of data. Everytime he left that room he left with the fear that all of that could be wiped clean in an instant.

"Your going to be the bell of the ball when your finished, my friend." Jager said. He closed the door and locked it with his eye-scan and the four digit code. "Goodnight, Commander Jager." A soft, female voice filled the corridor. "Goodnight, Endless Winter" Jager replied. Endless Winter was a smart AI. He had developed her back when he was first starting his research on CODE WORD: SAPIEN. He'd need asistance during the pojects evelopment so he decided to create a smart AI to help him with whatever he may need. Her consciounse was buit into the entire factory. In the doormatories Viru called upon Endlles Winter to play her favorite music. Anyting that was linked to Endless Summer was not out of her reach. She could even shut down the entire factoy if she wanted to. However, Jager created her wih a self-rightious program installed in her core matrix. Thsi allowed her with choices instead of unconditional obediance toward her master like the rest of the worlds AI's.

If Endless Winter believed what she was ordered to do was wrong she will deny the request within a nano-second, literally. She could process data faster than any other computer. Jager walked down the dark corridor late at night and headed for the kitchen. The lights slowly came to life as he walked in. "How are you doing, Winter?" Jager asked looking through the refrigerator. 'A healthy night snack is good for the soul.' He thought of his old friends words. He always used to eat so much that his metabolism went through the roof. "I am well, Commander. Would you like a glass of guava juice?" Endless Winter replied. Jager shut the refrigerator doors and turned back to the minituare figure of a young, blonde woman with bue eyes wearing a white dress. "You mean were not out of guava after all?!" Jager hunched down to her level, distancing only inches from her figure. She bowed gracefully, like snow flakes slowly falling from the clouds above to the earth down below.

"You are correct, Commander," Winter replied smiling. "I saved one guava fruit, knowing you would eventually like to have guava juice." 0's and 1's ran acrosee Endless Winters' frame. A small door slid open from the top of the dining table and up came a large glass of guava juice atop a small metal platform. "Thank you Winter," Jager drank half the juice in a split second. "I don't know what i'd do without you. I'm sure glad I created you!" Winter watched as he gulped the juice like he was dying of thirst. "I'm glad to be of service, Commander," Endless Winter replied. "Howver, if you keep drinking it like that you will surely run out of guava quickly everytime to refill the cabinets." Endless Winter always looked out for him and Viru. From advice about how to handle Viru for Jager to advice about small things like the guava supply. There were also no secrets with Endless Winter.

Endless Winter knew everything that went on inside the factory walls. Excluding Jager and Viru's personal time of course. Like the bathroom and bedrooms. If her sensors pick up lifeforms within those rooms she will refrain from looking inside. It is in her programming. Unless, of course she believes it is a matter of the utmost impotance. Saying their oodbyes, Jager and Endless Winter went their seperate ways for the night. The next morning, Jager awoke to the sounds of orchestra. A nice soothing rythm to wake up to. He'd be sure to thank Winter later on. Viru awoke to the sounds of waves crashing on the rocks by a cliff side. Her only wish was to live by the ocean. "Thank you, Winter" Viru properly thanked Endless Winter. "You are quite welcome, young miss." The curtains sli apart and in shun the suns' warm embrace.

"Mornin', sleepy-" Jager walked into her room. "AH! Close it close it!" The curtains quickly slid shut and the dim room took over the brightness. "Did you work all night again?" Viru asked. Whenever Jager went to sleep late the morning sunlight always bothered his eyes to the point where they felt like they were boiling in a pot full of lava! He rubbed his eyes with his free hand and handed Viru a ceramic plate and on it mashed potatoes, bacon and sausages. "That-" Jager started. "Is none of your business. Now, eat your breakfast, I'll be in the lab if you need me. Just ring me on the COM." As he left the curtains slid open again. And Viru went on to devour the food on her plate. 'Oh man, bro's an awesome cook!'

Meanwhile, at the lab, Jager typed large amounts of code into the computers. '0110101001101001101' Viru never really understood the meaning of them or if they were some sort of language. She saw him typing one day when she snuck in. He had forgotten to secure the door. It's safe to say he wouldn't make that mistake again. Not even his own sister new what he was doing. The only thing she knew was that he was developing a new zoid. But she didn't know what kind of zoid or that it was bipedal. Jager clicked on a hologam and this time a pair of mechanical arms appeared. They punched and grabbed virtual zoids and swung various different types of swords. Jager saw the strength of the arms as they threw zoids around like they were rocks. But he nodded in dissappointment. "The data shows a peak in the arms strength capacity but a decline in it's mobility and reaction time." Jager muttered to himself as he studied the data in front of him.
